They repaired it, but did not replace the poles with longer ones, so it is still only a few inches in the ground. They claimed that this is how they do it. This year, it is starting to wiggle again. The guy that came out (hours earlier than scheduled) even admitted that it wasn?t right. We got a proposal for $1395 to do it the right way. We don't feel that we should be paying anything for work that has never been corrected.

What I really appreciated was the amount of communication with me so we could work out details. They gave advice, but were flexible.

Ken, Sr, the owner, came by to walk the property. He did a very good job of suggesting where the fence should go and how it should be configured. He is a consummate professional. The installers arrived on schedule and had the job done in just over 3 days. jeff, who was in charge, it appeared, was very personable and willing to keep us abreast of their progress. They did a very nice job. The fence went in exactly as specified. It looks really good and we are very happy with it.

They called and said they had an opening and installed the fence in two full days of work, a week before I was expecting it, which was nice surprise. They were very professional. I added a couple of section to the original order and they were only too happy to supply and install. I asked for the fence to not be sitting on the ground anywhere and they did that perfectly. The salesman give me an accurate quote right in the salesroom which was then confirmed on site a few days later. Very good experience. This is the second fence I've had them install for me - 12 years apart. the first was a cedar and needed replacement.

Excellent customer service - Colonial fence worked alongside me every step of the way. I originally called them to the house for an estimate for a slightly different project. The staff showed up on time and gave me a variety of estimates for various ideas I had. After some thought based on the pricing I went into the showroom where staff showed me the various options that would be best suited to my needs. There had no problem answering all our questions and devoting as much time as we needed to sorting out the details. We ended up needing a second estimate as we changed our mind about what we wanted the final project to be. I was traveling for three weeks and they were able to quickly get back out to the house and redo the estimate based on our new materials. They managed to keep the price in the range that we had discussed and there were no surprises as we completed the work. The designated date for installation came and the team showed up on time and got right to work. They were professional, worked around are gardens and addressed al the needs we had given the varied slopes of the yard where the fence was being installed. They finished the job in the promised three days and even worked through some pouring rain on the final day to ensure that the job was completed on time and as promised. The crew took the time to walk me around the finished product and address any concerns I had. Great work and a solid installation, on time and at promised cost. We are happy with the complete experience and will be going back to them in the future for some additional fencing needs.

They did a great job. Communication was excellent and they came a week ahead of schedule. Very easy to deal with and the fence is sturdy and high quality. Workers were very friendly.

Amazing job. No pressure from sales perspective, job took longer due to the crew digging up stumps and rocks. Fantastic job, we love our new backyard!

This was a great experience. From the initial meeting at the showroom, to the property inspection, to the flexability in scheduling the installation and finally the installation crew represented a complete professional experience. They started the installation in the rain on Wed then all day Thu and Fri and part of the day Sat. They did a really great job. On Sunday I had three different neighbors come by and tell me how great the fence looked.

Rude on the phone started yelling from the beginning that he couldn't hear me because there was an echo. Had my husband call back from his phone and he told us the job was too small and he wasn't interested.

I was apprehensive about which company to go with because it was such a big financial commitment! But talking to the owner and the son reassured me I made the right choice. I got a few bids and they were all pretty close, so it came down to who I thought was going to do the best job! And these guys are it. They took their time to do it right and it shows. The work crew was great! I know if there is a problem in the future or I need more fencing done I wouldn't hesitate to cal these guys!

We are EXTREMELY HAPPY with our new fencing and gates. Beautiful to look at and gates are self closing as well as easy to operate. Really adds to the look of my home.

Josh came out to do the measurements and estimate. We received multiple estimates, pretty similar in price. I think Colonial was slightly higher. But his knowledge, professionalism and attention to detail, even in regards to obtaining the estimate won me over. I easily communicated with Ken Jr via email many times throughout the hiring and scheduling process. He always responded promptly and answered my questions thoroughly. The fence installation was completed yesterday. The guys did an absolutely amazing job. It looks beautiful. I was so impressed with them and their dedication to performing a quality job. Initially, when the vinyl fence went up on one side, there was a large gap between the bottom of the fence and the ground due to the grade of the property, (certainly large enough at one point that my 2 small children could crawl under or if we were to get a dog, could easily slip under). Perry and his crew took the initiative and handled this issue before I even had the chance to ask about it. They cut and placed additional vinyl to that area. It looks terrific and I feel safe to have the kids running around out there (my goal in getting the fence). Additionally, they had no issue with us having a tree removal service come out while they were here so that we could take care of a couple of tree issues on the property line, prior to a new fence going up. I can't say enough positive things about the staff. Almost forgot .. I had expressed interest in moving up my date at any time if they happened to have something open up (was so eager to get the fence for my kids) -- they were in fact able to do this. I was so excited to have the fence to corral my kiddos a few weeks sooner than planned -- that was a nice surprise!

Josh and Ken Jr. came to our property at the scheduled time for an estimate and recommendation for what we wanted done. We wanted to enclose the backyard for a dog and they pointed out a few items to consider - like where to tie it in to the side of the house and the line to take through some pine trees. They got their estimate back quickly and we scheduled a time time frame for their work. They were able to accommodate a specific week we wanted with enough advance notice. They called a few times to remind us to do some pruning we agreed to do on some trees in advance of their start. They showed up in a timely manner on the first day and it was just one gentleman (didn't catch his name) who did the bulk of the install over 3 days. He was great and even did some extra pruning that needed to be done. They cleaned up after and the fence looks nice and was installed exactly like we agreed upon.

They were great right from the moment they came to give an a quote, to all of their communication before the fence was installed, to the fact that they were able to have it installed before a party we were having were there would be children and we wanted to make sure the kids wouldn't be able to run into the neighbor's yard. It was a great experience, and we are already planning on using them to replace another side of our fence when it needs to be done. My husband is already wanting to do it sooner after the other work they did!

Colonial Fence did a great job start to finish! Everyone we worked with was very professional and delivered as promised. This install took place the second week of December and in some very difficult weather conditions. The first day the crew faced freezing conditions, followed by a significant warm up and heavy rain. Despite the challenges the crew from Colonial Fence completed the job on time and on budget. We love our new fence and the quality of the product. The recommendations Colonial made fit our needs perfectly.

All went as planned, and on schedule. There was a misalignment that needed reworking (due to concrete in the way). They found an alternative to fix the issue and I was very satisfied with the result. The quality of Colonial fences is unparalleled in this area. If I have fencing needs in the future I will be using them again.
