When a huge broken tree landed on my roof, dangerously dangling there, it created an extreme stress, particularly for a first-time home owner like me. The stress was further exacerbated when no one could come immediately after 5-6 phone calls for help. Then it was David that answered my call and within 30 mins arrived at my home to quickly assess the situation. Two hours later he and his crew came back with a big crane. They carefully sawed and lifted the tree off my roof and the performed a thorough job cleaning all the debris from the property . Meanwhile one of David's crew went back onto the roof and took some pictures of the damaged roof. Then David took time explaining the damage and gave me some suggestions to work with my insurance company and a roofer. It was such a huge relief to not only see a big hazard was eliminated quickly, but also prepare myself about what need to do next. Thank you David!

We called D.J. Company yesterday (Mon, 3/19) about having our tree removed, and we were told they could come out to our house to do the work on Wednesday (3/21). Due to the snow storm predicted for tomorrow (3/21), Mr. Snyder let us know this morning that they could do the work today (Tues, 3/20), which worked for us. The tree removal team arrived on time. The workers were very professional, polite, careful of our property, and efficient. We had asked them to cut up the wood for firewood, which they did and stacked it neatly against the side of our house. The workers also cleaned up all of the debris from the tree. The entire job only took them two hours. We were very satisfied.

It couldn't have gone better. There was a bunch of people involved, and they managed their schedule perfectly. They managed things they weren't asked to manage. Everything was included in the price. They even gave us advice on what to do in the house. I certainly would use them again and recommend them to everybody.

I called at 10 and he messaged right back. The next morning, he had crew at my house at 7:30! They were such gentleman. They cleaned up very well and did a great job! The yard and driveway were cleaner when they left than when they started.

Dave came by to give us a quote on the work, as well as a few options on how we could approach the issues with the three trees we had removed. We agreed on what needed to be done, shook hands, and Dave said he would be in touch. The following week, Dave sent a crew by to take care of some of the poison ivy on one of the trees being removed, and they also took care of cleaning up a fallen tree that had been resting against our fence as well as a few other nuisance trees. Less than a week later, Dave had a crew over to take down the limb of the trees to be removed, and the following day Dave and his crew came and took down the trees. Overall, everything went as smooth as you could ever ask for. Dave and his crew were all very professional, and they did an unbelievable job with the trees. They also did a spectacular job cleaning up after themselves - you wouldn't have known that they had ever been here if it weren't for the missing trees.

While we chose another company because its estimate was considerably lower, our experience with D.J. Snyder was a positive one. The price is the only reason I am giving a B for the overall grade instead of an A. Dave Snyder promptly responded to our initial inquiry and scheduled a time to come by and give us an estimate. He was thorough in assessing our needs and describing the work his company would do.

I met with Dave Snyder, who understood the work I was asking to be performed, and he also smartly noted some additional tree work that was likely to be a problem in terms of the safety of our house and yard. He gave an estimate that was one of the lowest ones that we received, and it was much lower than an estimate provided by one of the more popular companies doing business in this area. His crew showed up on time, did exactly what they said they would, and removed all traces of their work. In addition, they noticed some problems with the electrical lines running from the street to our house, and they called NSTAR on our behalf. We were thankful that both the tree work and the electrical work were accomplished before this winter, because the snow and storms probably would have brought down branches onto our roof. It was a pleasure to use this company!

The tree removal was excellent. The paving was incomplete, and had to be fixed up. I believe the paving work was subcontracted.

I never had DJ Synder do the work. His estimate was $750 for the one tree or $2700 to take care of everything in the yard. I was skeptical of the price and the work recommended. I ended up getting 4 large oaks trimmed and dead limbs removed for $650. HUGE difference in price, and the work done by the alternative contractor was excellent.

They were very prompt and the work was professional. They trimmed a lot more from the 3rd maple than I expected. They do not like to leave firewood.

David Snyder & his team are class acts. I have to admit, I was thinking he was a bit high maintenance when his scheduler told me that he wants to be the last estimate so that I could give him a yes or no on the spot & he asks for a donation for the Jimmy Fund for each estimate. I considered cancelling but I am so glad that I met with him. Here's why: 1) Informative but not pushy. Looked at my trees & gave me recommendations for what to do with each one, including taking down a tree that was too big for its location. Also told me not to worry right now about another one that might be diseased. 2) Reasonable price. Knows his costs so he tells it like it is. I appreciate honesty. 3) Provides great value. I got a lot for the money. Sunlight and space in a dark backyard is priceless! 4) Prompt. Got a quote on Friday & did the work the next Saturday. 5) Great execution. His team was excellent every step along the way. Hire D.J. Snyder. You won't be disappointed.
