Jerry was excellent to work with - knowledgable, communicative, professional, flexible and hard working. The team cleaned up after themselves every evening, came when they said they would come, and most importantly, did a wonderful job of rebuilding out stone retaining wall. We liked the work so much that we added on the project of replacing our very ugly concrete walkways with beautiful new pavers that make a huge difference in our small backyard.

Jerry at Stone Wall Landscapes installed a dry well and took a number of other measures to address major flooding in our basement from recent torrential rains. He was prompt, responsive, flexible and honest, and provided superb follow up and follow-through on all aspects of the work. The entire process was fully transparent. Jerry was on-site each day, and his crew was incredibly hardworking, efficient and neat. We have no further water backing up towards the house and entering our basement. I will not hesitate to use Stone Wall for any future needs, and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Jerry gave me the most detailed information and idea for our patio project from the very beginning even before we decided to work with them. He also gave me a pamphlet of pavers which helped me understand our project at lot. Since our house is built on the hill, we had concern about water coming in to the house especially since we have more rain in this summer. He gave us the idea of permeable pavers, and we are so happy that we installed that. We also had a broken concrete section that needed to be fixed and he took out that section and put retaining wall. The patio space was expanded and now it looks so beautiful. Jerry and his team were always punctual and worked very hard. Despite the difficulty of the project, the work was done in 3 days or so. The quote was the most detailed quote, and he was very clear about the cost of each task. Jerry was very friendly and very professional, and I really enjoyed working with him. We will definitely work with them again when we have next project.

Jerry worked with me to design and install front and backyard gardens with a beautiful stone patio and stone paths. His work is excellent and he knows his materials. He checked in with me along the way about decisions that needed to be made, even though that part was a bit stressful. I also appreciated his team because they were friendly and worked well together (and strong to deal with super rocky soil). We love walking the gardens several times a day and neighbors often stop to admire the beauty of the flowers and trees. We highly recommend Stonewall Pro.

Jerry and his team did excellent work on our 100+ year-old puddingstone retaining wall. The finished product looks fantastic. But more important was Jerry's patience, professionalism, attention to detail, flexibility, enthusiasm, excellent suggestions, and, above all, his willingness to take the time to explain the approach, listen to questions and concerns, and involve me in the process. Overall it was an excellent experience with a beautiful result. I would enthusiastically work with Jerry again and highly recommend Stonewall.

Jerry made many suggestions that were an improvement to the work. His quotation was detailed and explinations extreemly helpful. The work consisted of cleaning the stone , removing and repalcing motar to the 100+ year old pudding stone retaining wall, encapsulationg the top of the wall, and repairing the entrance stoop with new granite steps and platform and natural stone risers. Jerry worked with his hard working team every day until the completion two weeks later. The wall is next to a city sidewalk and during and at the end of each day the site was meticuously cleaned. The overall change in the appearance to the wall and stoop is remarkable.

After we got our quote and made a deposit, the entire process went very quickly. Jerry never tried to oversell on anything. I ended up adding additional work after the initial quote, which they were cool with. I also love how the quote was itemized and included prices for other pavers of similar styles at different price points. Him and his crew were total professionals. Jerry was transparent and upfront of any potential increases in price (there was never any, but could have been if the existing concrete was over 5 inches thick). He was responsive to any questions I had. Highly recommended!

It truly was a pleasure to work with StoneWall. Jerry had fantastic ideas about how we could make our back yard both welcoming to people and dog friendly. He has a great design sense and was able to share his vision of what it would look like. His team always showed up when he said they would and the quality of their work is excellent. In less than two weeks he managed to turn our mud pit of a yard into a gorgeous oasis with a patio, plantings, lighting, and a landscaped gravel area for the dogs.

We had ugly environmental pavers covering the backyard; Jerry & his team were able to transform it with upgraded pavers & sod. Great work.

The StoneWall Landscapes team did a phenomenal job remodeling our backyard. They presented a vision of a brand-new and much "better looking" backyard and made that vision a reality for us! They were extremely professional since day 1 and walked us through the process, presenting a design, a plan, and a timeline for completion with an extremely affordable price. The team were superb, reliable, always on time, and kept everything clean and organized by the end of each day. I have done other types of work in our home and have never received that level of service before. They were really exceptional. I am a very detail-oriented person and they truly impressed me. They took care of each detail and delivered a totally new and beautiful backyard that was beyond our expectations. They added a retaining and stone seating wall, created two separate spaces (the adult and the kids area), and planted a few trees and hydrangeas. The truth is, we had no idea our backyard had the potential to look what it looks today after the work done by StoneWall Landscapes. We live atop a steep hill in Coolidge Corner. We purchased our home in 2019, and the home originally had a back deck that was in disrepair. We initially thought that a patio was out of our budget but Jerry worked with us in getting a paver patio within budget. Because of that, Stonewall Landscapes was able to do a complete overhaul of our property. This included adding tiers and landscaping to our front hill, designing a side path, and installing a paver patio, retaining wall, lawn/garden, and privacy fencing in our back yard. We are beyond thrilled with their work. Jerry worked with us in figuring out what we wanted our front hill and backyard to look like in terms of landscaping, and Jerry incorporated our ideas when selecting which plants/trees/shrubs to plant. Jerry is incredibly detailed-oriented, and his team is professional and efficient. They were here before 8am every day and worked 6 days a week to finish our project in about 3 weeks. At the end of each day, the team made sure that the work area was neat and clean before they left for the day. They were ahead of schedule and on budget. We have had multiple neighbors stop us to complement their work. We couldnâ t be happier with their work. My wife is meticulous herself and could not find a fault with the work from Jerry and his team. This was one of the most positive experiences we have had with a contractor.
