Again....Patti dealt with many different moving parts (so to speak). There were several different kinds of complications with our move, and Patti handled every single one calmly, professionally, promptly, and with no fuss. NO FUSS. My wife has a tendency to stress over everything and I have a tendency to not stress over anything, and Patti was very good at literally doing it all, and helping us to know what were the things that needed our attention and what the things were that were really already taken care of. From preparing things for Goodwill, to getting everything either in the trash or out of the house; from cleaning the old house to preparing the new house; Patti helped with every single aspect of it. She was amazing. She was a calming, expert influence, and we would use her again in a heartbeat.
Description of Work: Patti first sat down with us and went over everything...EVERYTHING that we wanted with our move. Believe me when I say it got complicated. In the middle of the move, we had to take the entire load, store it for a few days, and THEN move it. Although it was totally unexpected, Patti arranged it, and it was completely smooth. It could have been a disaster. She helped us organize everything for the move, made the tension minimal. She was always extremely organized, and her staff was great as well.

Pat, is patient, methodical and very attentive and interested in how one lives and uses things. She doesn't have a one size fits all approach and facilitated the organization rather than just telling me where things needed to go. I was fearful of that and she was great.
Description of Work: I had been flooded out of my condo and had to have everything moved out in a day with no planning or organization. She helped me organize a storage unit to create more space and also my closet and moved things back into the closet.

I have used the services of a company called "Sort It Out Now". She charges by the hour. The charges are depended on what you do and how long it takes. I want to give her the most glowing recommendation I can. Imagine yourself as a disorganized person and inviting someone into your home is a little intimidating as to what is going to happen. She is extremely well to keep, very effective, very easy to work with, gets things done, doesn't make you feel like what a mess you are. She is just delightful. We keep exchanging emails trying to keep in touch. She is very easy and accommodating to work with. She gets amazing things done. The pricing was commensurate with what she got done.

The job of organizing my bedroom and the linen closet was a huge success. It made me feel so uplifted to be able to find things easily and to see what I had and to get rid of things that I no longer needed. Pat was very focused on the task at hand and the goal. There were no dos and don'ts. I told Pat the tasks for the day and she made it happen. I can't say enough good things about her. If you are overwhelmed with a kitchen disorganization or bedroom or anything, fret no more just call Sort it Out Now.
Description of Work: We organized my bedroom and the linen closet. This was a huge job. It doesn't sound it, but it took us all day. In the bedroom I went through my shelves of clothes and produced clothing to give away and for trash. In the linen closet we also organized some containers so that it would be easy for me to find things. Pat is a genius in doing this work. She is resourceful and creative. When I was wilting she kept going full steam with tons of energy. I would hire her again because she makes sure the job gets done and creatively solves every problem.

Plain and simple, SORT IT OUT performs moving and organizational miracles. I needed to move from Los Angeles to Boston and didn't have a clue where to start. I found Sort It Out by pure luck when Googling and quot;relocation services, Boston areaand quot;. This company is a Godsend. They will do everything and do it correctly. They held my hand when I needed it, gave me valuable information and references, and always with a positive attitude. They are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done but were NEVER pushy or tried to sell me a bill of goods. In fact, because of their help and guidance it cost me less money, time, frustration and stress. Someone from Sort It Out accompanied me to purchase furniture. They coordinated with a computer guru (that they found for me) to set up all of my utilities along with my furniture. When one piece of furniture was delivered defective, they arranged for the item's return and delivery. When my phone wasn't working they called the provider, got someone out to the apartment and got it fixed. This was all while I was still in Los Angeles! This is truly a full service organization. I needed those range of services and was grateful to have the help. The expression and quot;you get what you pay forand quot; applies. This was a great investment for me since I got moved, unpacked and set up in record time. On the other hand, if I had been making a local move and didn't need as many services - that would have been fine too - it all depends on the client. When it was time to unpack my belongings - they worked tirelessly for hours to get the job done. No one ever lost patience and while, they may make suggestions, it's up to the client to dictate where/how they want things arranged. However, I found their judgement was far better than mine - especially when I was exhausted and wanted them to think for me. Sort It Out handles all types of moves and is certified by a number of organizations such as NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers) and NASMM (National Association of Senior Move Managers) among others.
Description of Work: Helping me to organize a move from Los Angeles to a suburb of Boston. This was a huge job with many hours, as I'm an "older adult", all alone, and didn't have a soul to help. Started working with them in early July when I decided to make the move, ended around October 6th when the move and unpacking was complete. Did everything for me from acting as a consultant to gathering information from finding an apartment to suggesting and researching movers (I chose one that Sort It Out recommended). Helped me find car insurance, home insurance, health insurance and went with me to purchase furniture, arrange for delivery, and arranged hooks up of phone, internet, cable. Helped me to find a computer guru. All of the suggestions I got were great that I ended up using. Even when some unforeseen problem occured - they were there to fix it,
