Great service. We had short notice to move and Alan at Oscars was first to reply to our request for help. He responded immediately to my late night message, committed to the move, and followed through with great movers. The movers were fast and patient with where we wanted things placed. Well done at a fair price!

The guys arrived on time and did a great job. They were fast and responsive and got all of our stuff moved within the estimated time. They asked when they needed something explained and worked hard to get it all done. I was a little surprised at the end that I was charged for $300 worth of materials - not really sure what they used. But overall, we were very impressed with the service - and how nice everyone was!

This is the second time I've used Oscar's Moving -- both long distance moves. First from Acton, MA to upstate NY, and more recently from NY to the DC area. Both times they were outstanding. Office was incredibly helpful and responsive, getting back to me immediately with a phone call and emails with the quote. And all through the process, they were there. The moving crew was also fantastic. Both times they arrived at 8am, went right to work, and finished in 2 hours. In Mass it was a 3 bedroom house and garage -- in NY they loaded a 2 bedroom apartment, then went to my storage unit to load that. At my destination (next day) -- again, arrived early morning (calling me 30 mins before to adivse of their ETA) and unloaded the truck, put my bed together, etc. The crew was great -- nice guys, really helpful, and not a thing broken or walls damaged. Note to movers -- this whole process goes easier if you are ready for the movers (packed up) -- and at your destination, if you have someone right at the truck directing where things go. Even if you mark the boxes as I did, its easier and faster for the crew to have someone direct. Oh, and put signs up on which bedroom is which -- that'll help too!

The movers arrived promptly at the early end of the estimated arrival time. They were efficient and courteous, and had any and all supplies that we may have needed last minute. We needed lots of tape to wrap the pads around the furniture, and the price was very reasonable; cheaper than if we had provided it ourselves. The project manager communicated his needs well, and was sure to clarify our needs when he arrived. The only hiccup was that the truck got a flat tire on the way to the new house, delaying them 2.5 hours, but that couldn't be avoided. When they did arrive, they worked very hard to unload quickly and efficiently. Overall a great experience, and we'd definitely use them again!

The crew from Oscar's was excellent. They showed up exactly on time, were friendly, and efficient. They were careful wrapping and moving all our items - no damage to items or home. They weren't afraid to get the job done ahead of schedule and save us money.

They are great. Each time they have been punctual, fast and efficient. They have always been the least expensive movers I have been able to find in the area. My only complaint is when they were able to get a piano into my house. I feel like they didn't try hard enough and I did pay a piano moving fee. It worked out in the long run as I got to buy a brand new piano.

Oscar's was terrific to work with. They provided an accurate estimate for the length of time and cost after an on-site visit of our house. The team arrived on time, were friendly, efficient, and courteous. They took great care in wrapping my heirloom china cabinet. We had several large dressers and an elliptical that required maneuvering some tight corners with little room for error. The crew skillfully got everything out of the house, and up the stairs of our new home without damaging any walls or furniture. I was impressed with their ingenuity and tenacity for getting everything to fit...I thought for sure my daughter's box spring and dresser would not fit up the stairs but they somehow made it work. A manager stopped by to check in on the move progress. We had nothing but good things to say, but I appreciated the check-in. The crew was still smiling after 12 hours of work. I would recommend the company to friends and family. Hopefully I don't have to move again, but if we do, we will use Oscar's. My only snafu was that the estimate included packing the kitchen, but that was mistakenly excluded in the final confirmation. We didn't catch it until the night before the move. The manager was responsive to my question about it and said the crew could still do it but it wasn't factored into the allotted time (which was already 11 hours with 5 men) so I opted to take care of the packing myself. Lesson learned - double check the confirmation before approving it.

From the moment I made contact with Alan at Oscar's to the moment they finished the move back into the house I was treated with courtesy and professionalism that was second to none. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a moving company. Pricing was reasonable too. I had one issue with the final price that Alan was more than helpful with. Great job Oscar's!!!

They were very prompt and good. It was a terrible rainy day, but that didn't stop them from doing a good job. They moved me about an hour and a half away.

They were eager and willing at the beginning of the day, but they took longer than I expected, which ended up costing me more money. There were some things they covered and took great care of, and some things they did not.

Given that we were up against it in moving my mother, timing was critical. Knowing that Feb 9 was going to be a cancel (huge storm), I tried to reschedule earlier. They could not do this. So, I was able to get friends with trucks to make the move on Saturday, Feb 7. The impressive service, however, provided by Oscar's involved a senior discount (no other moving company offered this) and a full refund of the deposit. They understood that moving an elderly person was challenging and delaying (due to the storm) would be very difficult for us. What this told me about Oscar's is that they care about people and are reasonable when conditions work against the client. I would highly recommend this moving company. Jack and Will were terrific!

I found Oscar's via Angie's List and Jack called me about 5 minutes after submitting my request! He and the rest of the team were very responsive to my emails and calls, and quickly scheduled a visit to provide a cost estimate. Oscar's was significantly less expensive (about $2k) compared to another bid I got. The movers came on time and were extremely quick with packing and moving, and also quick on the other side with unloading. No damages. Overall a great experience. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

Very pleasant experience from beginning to end. Mike (move coordinator) could not have been more helpful. The movers (Paul and Shaq) arrived on time and worked carefully and quickly to move my mother's belongings. There were no surprises with the cost and they made moving a much less stressful experience than it could have been for mom. They took care of everything from breakdown to set up and a great price.

The move went fine and the men were very nice and professional. I did feel that I was overcharged for the time, as the time charged on on the tiny printed invoice was over-estimated by 15-30 minutes in either direction. Travel time to and from the 2 locations was set already and also included, so the extra time did not reflect travel. And no time was deducted from my invoice for lunch or cell phone checking breaks, which would have been less irritating if the start time and end time were accurate. I do take responsibility for not reviewing the final bill as carefully as I should have, but I feel like I was over-charged by at least one hour.

Oscar's was fantastic, and I am glad I used them for my move. The people I spoke with in scheduling, then rescheduling, my move dates were professional, courteous, and understanding. They worked with me as my original move dates were delayed three days before our scheduled move, and really helped me out when our new move date was pushed back an addition two days. They could have easily charged me hundreds of dollars extra due to late cancellation fees and the like, but they worked with me and were reasonable and accommodating of my issues. The actual moves themselves were flawless. The move out portion from Lowell went a bit longer than I thought it would, but still within their estimate. The crew was running late, but they arrived and loaded the truck with no complaints, even after seeing my cellar full of boxes. They were methodical, asking me what should be wrapped and what shouldn't be, and making sure everything was loaded that should have been. The move in at our new home was flawless. The crew got everything unloaded, and all furniture setup. No issues with damage. Arrived on time. My only issue was a slight overcharge on the move in portion (over what had been previously agreed to), but again the staff was on top of it and after reviewing the paperwork informed me of the amount that would be refunded, and processed it very quickly. I couldn't be happier with the service we received from Oscar's, and would highly recommend them. If I ever move again, they will be at the top of my list.

Our move went very smoothly and quickly overall. The crew was great, working efficiently the whole time. They were also very friendly but not too chatty. We felt very comfortable with them lifting and moving all of our furniture, boxes, etc. At our new home, we had recently installed new hardwood and had the old hardwood floors refinished, so we pointed this out to them, and they made sure to be very cautious while bringing items into the new home. Also, accidentally, we were overcharged by almost an hour. When we pointed this error out to Oscar's days after the actual move, they were very understanding and apologetic, and they were quick to provide us with a refund for the overage. All in all, Oscar's Moving Co. was excellent and I would highly recommend them.

The 4 person crew was excellent. They showed up on time, did a great job getting right to work. They were extremely nice and polite and we felt very comfortable with them. They did a great job wrapping our furniture and dis-assembling/re-assembling. The only damage we had was a dented trash can, which considering how many things were moved is a win from my perspective. Estimate given was accurate. We would definitely use Oscar's again.

The fellows from Oscar's called and told me that they would be about 10 minutes late. Love the courtesy calls! We did the paperwork and these guys got right to work. Such strong guys and so gentle with my things. They were professional, courteous and EXTREMELY hard working!! In fact I had a neighbor here help he used to be a mover and he too was really impressed! When the work is done I am DEFINITELY hire Oscar's movers again!!! I am going to try to get the same guys again I was really really impressed!!!!! It was THE BEST experience I have ever had with movers and throughout my life I have moved a lot. I encourage anyone to hire Oscar's movers. They were FANTASTIC!!!! Thank you Oscars Movers!

David and Karolis were really great. They needed very little direction and treated my stuff as if it were their own. They also fit an astounding amount into the truck without damaging anything. They were always professional and always working. We also ended up packing and unpacking so quickly that we finished an hour early. They were a huge help, and I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

process was well managed from initial contact to the move. Jack Daley helped coordinate the move and Sean and his team did a great job. They were professional and considerate with my things.

These guys were great! Three very nice guys arrived right on time and immediately started loading. The day was extremely hot but they were fast and efficient and kept to the time schedule. The cost, including the extra packing supplies, was right on target with the quote I was provided. I received 4 quotes for this move and Oscars was at $100-$200 less than that others. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

They were great! The company was easy to work with, punctual, polite, and very hard working.
