Rino enclosed a front porch on our house and finished kitchen baseboards and installed some doors. The porch is beautiful and looks like it has always been there - in an 1890 house. It blends so well with the existing house. The carpentry on the baseboards in the kitchen are beautiful! He did a great craftsmanship with fine attention to detail and making the remodel blend with the existing house.

Rino does impeccable work. He took down an existing deck and rebuilt a larger one. The finishing work was beautiful. It was so well done that we asked him to do an adjacent patio. He is easy to work with, thinks up creative solutions to issues, shows up when he says he is going to, and ensures that you are satisfied. I already hired him to help remodel a bathroom too. I have referred him to several friends and they were thrilled with his work too.

It went very well. The work was done very professionally and promptly and he cleaned up after himself every day so the place never looked upturned while the work was going on. We were especially price sensitive and got what we expected.

It was a dirty and arduous project, but he did it with a smile. Furthermore, the gentleman arrived on time, did the work as promised, and was friendly and professional during the entire ordeal.

I bought the coupon in July of 012. It was a long time before we could find a time to have Rino come to the house to look at a landing I needed to have replaced. He came to the house and talked with my Dad about what had to be done. At the time he thought that we could use some of the boards to replace the landing (16 x 5)as long as the footings underneath were still good and of course he'd know more once he demo'd the landing. When I talked with him after he came to the house he said he'd get back to me with what I needed for supplies and when he could do the job. I called a few times and never heard back from him and then it was winter and I figured we'd do it spring/summer but time went on and I never did hear back from him. I contacted him a few months ago and he said he didn't know what happened but he'd still do the job. He came to the house a few weeks ago to look at the landing and somehow couldn't remember being at the house a year before. He said none of the boards were reuseable and that he didn't think he could do the job in one day and he would get back to me with an estimate of what the materials would cost. My boyfriend and I asked him when he sent an estimate to breakdown the costs of man made boards vs the regular boards. When he finally sent the estimate he said it was going to take 2 days to do the job. He said the first day was free since I already paid for the 8 hours, the second day was $600 and the materials $600 for regular, not man made boards and he didn't break out the exact costs of using the different materials. My boyfriend and I had already checked the cost of materials at The Home Deport and it was around $300, not $600. I also told Rino that my boyfriend was going to demo the deck so that we felt the job could be done in one day. He got back to me and said it couldn't be done in one day so I told him via email that I wasn't prepared to spend another $1,200 and I would be contacted Angie's List to get my money back. My feeling is this man doesn't want to do the job. My boyfriend demolished the landing, which took under an hour. He salvaged 4 boards that were totally re useable, as was one of the steps. All that needed to be replaced were the cross bars that had rotted out and about 6 boards plus one step. The concrete bases on which to rest the boards are still there and in good shape. At best, this is probably a 6 hour job, maybe even less since it's just laying the crossbars, the boards and replaced on step. I wouldn't recommend this person because I think he is trying to rip me off. He never returned my phone calls back at the beginning when we started this process and now he's trying to make a lot of money off me. Sincerely, Linda

I have seven windows which needed the wood putty to be replaced. Provider said it would be a very expensive job and suggested it would be cheaper to get new windows. Neither option is affordable at this time which is the reason I am requesting a refund.

I gave this Angie's List coupon to my mother in law, who had been working tirelessly on scraping off old wallpaper in her kitchen only to reveal horribly botched plaster underneath. In a few hours, Delio saved her weeks worth of work, and her kitchen walls look great.

It went well. He was a little late but called me beforehand to let me know. I showed him the things I needed, and he got the materials and did the work quickly. He was also very nice. Everything looked great except the windowsill, which seemed a little sloppy but not terrible. I would hire the company again.

He was really great. He is very competent. He did everything he said he's going to do. I was very happy because he got the thing done that I needed done around the house really quickly and efficiently. It was very clean. It's an old house so he did things really carefully and made sure everything worked. I was happy with what he was doing. He was really helpful.

Very punctual, professional, knowledgeable of reversing two sets of doors. Started early and finished at end of the day. Advise to put everything on paper so he can follow and provide cost estimate. We will use him again in the future.

Rino was pleasant and accommodating, but the large bifolds didn't line up well, despite some trimming and adjusting. It could be the closet openings aren't exactly square, but I wish they had come out better.

He was not always very responsive. I was having trouble tracking him down and making sure he would show up. When he did finally come, he worked for hours and did great work. I will use him in the future if we can have a sit down and discuss when he will come to my home.

Mr D'Alfonso was great. He came on time (both for the estimate and the work). He was flexible and patent about picking up the materials. Then he worked hard and carefully to cut and install the countertop and sink. Because it was a replacement into an existing old, not so high quality, cabnet arrangment, the work required quite a bit of judgemen, creativity, and careful workmanship. Mr. D'Alfonso was great at all of these. He was also just a very nice guy and, as a result, it was completely comfortable to have him in my home. He was also extremely reasonable in his pricing. (He could have charged twice as much for the work he did, since the job ended up being more difficult and time consuming than anticipated; but he refused to take it, steadfastly staying with his initial estimate.) I wish I had more work for him to do since he was such a pleasure to work with. I would hire him again in a second.

Arrived on time, did the job and finished just as the time was up. Respectful, polite; but personable. All worked for me.

He put the time in for those 8 hours. He was quite capable. He was knowledgeable and knew exactly what he was looking at, where to go, and what parts to suggest. He was spot on with that. He made good estimations with the price. The estimate were right in the range of the final price, he was quite close to perfect.

Overall Rino's work was very good. There was a variety of work to be done, from carpentry to floor tile.

He never told me after asking him several times about supplies. He walked in the door without a tool in his hand. Went on an errand for supplies that took twice as long as it should have, was on his cell phone several times for at least 15 minutes each time, left my home without saying a word, gone for at least 45 minutes that I know of. He entered my home when he came back without knocking or ringing the bell, refused to put in his full time paid for and the work is far below standard! It's going to cost me to have it corrected and finished. I would never hire him or recommend him. This always makes me question people recommended by ANGIE'S List! ! !

Everything went well. He worked efficiently and did a good job.

It was great! The guy was really friendly, on time, and he did a really good job making sure that he didn't make a mess in the house.

They were very pleasant and came on time. He knew exactly what he was doing.

Contacted Delio Corp and they were quick to respond. They came over to look at the work that was needed. They provided some good ideas and different options. We scheduled a date to complete the work- about 2 weeks from the time we met (earliest Delio could do). We did have to follow up to make sure we were still on. They showed up on the day and completed the work that was needed within one day.

He worked quickly and did very nice work. The next day we noticed one of the railings had not been fixed. We called him and he came right over and fixed it. Very professional and polite. Would recommend.

After repeated call to Delio, and never getting a return call or a commitment as to when he would come to look at the project, I simply gave up and found another handyman. Based on this extemely poor attitude and lack of follow through I could not reccomend this company to perform handyman tasks.

Rino is a very nice guy and this wasn't the easiest frame job due to the nature of the age of the house and size of the workspace. He was responsive to email and phone calls and availability was good. For the job itself, he had to do some notching of studs and framing in a less than ideal space with limitations due to electric and plumbing, which we were happy not to have to do. The only reason I don't give him a perfect score overall is due to the fact that he didn't follow our instructions completely. He made some design changes that we would have done differently if he had asked. We ended up having to rework some of what he did. But generally, for the money we paid for 8 hours of work we were happy to have most of it done and I would recommend him, just be sure to give clear instructions and ask to be made aware of any design changes he might make on the fly due to unforeseen issues.
