The technician, Paris, was right on time and very professional. We just needed our dryer vent cleaned, and since we had a longer hose, the cost increased substantially. Overall we are very pleased with the service we received.

My dryer stopped working and I have 2 small kids in the house, this guy arrived in the same day and did a great job! Highly recommend

an absolutely MUST service to every house! We moved to a new house 4 years ago and shortly after started suffering from allergies, we bought air purifiers to each room as we couldn't figure out the root cause. Sean and the team were extremely professional and helpful, very responsive, arrived and time and extremely clean and respectful of property, and on top of it all, great price! We have stored our air purifiers and are living allergies free since then!

I was very happy with the work done. I had no idea how dirty the ducts actually were (the before and after photos were shocking) and I can happily say that the heating improved a lot as well (there were 2 rooms that were always cold and need an additional radiator - this year the rooms are nice and warm!)

This was a brand new house and some ducts needed cleaning, they said after they arrived they had to do them all when I said I wanted to do 10-12 on the first floor. They insisted on doing the basement and the first floor, charged triple what I wanted to pay and they did ducts that were perfectly clean. Showed up in a worn out minivan, no logo on minivan and left the cleaner at the house with a shop vac and an electric drill. Not the service I expected.

I could not have been any happier than I was with Sean's service and advice.

Sean and his guys came right on time. Sean was super kind. He had a ton of patient for all of my questions, and explained everything. He also took before and after videos. I couldn t believe how much junk was left behind inside the ducts! They cleaned all of the air ducts (over 30) the dryer vent,and the bathroom vents. They worked very efficiently, and more importantly very clean! When they were done all the furnitures were back in place as if nothing had been done. Sean gave me a very good and fair price for the amount of work he did. I m definitely going to use them again!

They came early and did the job within 2 hours. They were very communicative before and during the project. They explained what they did and explained any issues they came across. They did 11 vents and a dryer for under 1000.

The positive: Michael was thorough, courteous, professional, and cleaned up well after he was done. Our dryer is drying more efficiently now. The negatives: 1) There was some sort of online scheduling glitch that may have been due to Homeadvisor, not the business. I got emails saying my appointment had been changed to Wednesday, but still saw a Tuesday appointment on the Homeadvisor site. However, I called Boston Air Duct Cleaning to confirm one way or the other as well as get an estimate and never got a call back. I called a second time the day of the appointment, and it was only then that I was told about their 2-hour appointment windows. That's actually a very reasonable window for this type of work, but it would have been nice to know that up front. 2) I also felt like the pricing was not transparent. One part of their scheduling page says pricing starts at $59. Another part of their page had a coupon offering $40 off a dryer vent cleaning for $129, implying a regular price of $169. I was quoted $200. But I needed the job done, and these businesses know that, so whatever I just had to go with it. Then Michael's cleaning brush busted through my existing duct. Was it old and ready to go? Maybe, but I had to pay an extra $50 for a duct that you can get at the hardware store for $10-20, and pay $35 for the labor of unscrewing and re-screwing clamps. So, $285 compared to the last 2 times I've had this done for $70 (granted $70 was a group rate, but still, BIG difference, and I never had to pay for a new duct, it was included). Boston Air Duct Cleaning did quality work, but I also think there's a good chance you can get a better deal elsewhere without sacrificing quality.
