SPLASH

I was building a house and planning to use Splash to supply all of my bathroom fixtures. We met with a salesperson (Stephanie) who was very nice and seemed very knowledgeable, but that is where the good experience ended. It took her weeks to get back to us with a quote for the products we had chosen, then only later did I figure out that her quote was completely wrong. It was hard to follow because it designated everything by product number but when I did some research to double check what she had included, I realized that there were countless mistakes in the quote. It became a huge problem because our plumber had used the list for purposes of ordering products to do the plumbing rough and we ended up using several of the wrong valves. I decided to completely forget about Splash and instead went to JD Daddario in Newton whom I found to be much more responsive and knowledgeable and their quote was perfect. I should also point out that she gave us our first quote in Dec. 2007, then in February 2008 we changed a few things and had to update the quote. She sent the revised quote but failed to mention that several of the prices had almost doubled in the span of 2 months. She claimed prices had gone up significantly but it seemed hard to believe they had almost doubled.

The store was very pleasant. The salesperson was very helpful. Ordering was easy and it came in within a few days. Easy to pick up.
