STEVE COOPER INTERIOR PAINTING

Steve is perhaps the most responsive and friendly contractor in the Boston area! We had him do a small job (fixing some spice rack cabinets that were installed incorrectly when we put our kitchen in). He immediately diagnosed the problem, and fixed it in approximately half the time (and for less than half the cost) of what two others had quoted. Not only that, but he showed up promptly on time, was quite clean and quick to respond to emails & calls. A rarity in this day & age, when many contractors seem to take their clients for granted!

The work was excellent. The risers were dented and dinged old wood. He applied the appropriate bonding and undercoats to prevent dark-wood chips in the future and the paint looks perfect. The patched holes are imperceptible. The colors came out as we expected. He was prompt, kept all the equipment in a spare bedroom, he cleaned up nicely, and worked daily from 7AM-3PM. I have no complaints and instead only high praise.

Extremely well. Steven was responsive and able to schedule us quickly. He was extremely polite and professional. He even went out of his way to do a few small touch-ups in other rooms on the day off. Everything he did looks great.

Steve came by to view the situation as promised and on time. (even though parking is difficult in this neighbor hood) He was very polite and professional. When I told him I had tried to patch the paper myself, he offered to patch it and said he could do it at this time. He gave me his price. He not only patched the paper, but did another small papering job. He explained that the patch would look better after the paper dried. He also explained why he papered the small job as he did. The patch barely showed and I was thrilled! Steve did a great job and I would definitely hire him again.

Excellent. Steve and Chris were professional and prompt. Attention to the details was a priority - true perfectionists and the work was done on the quoted timeframe. We could not have asked for better results.

They were excellent. They kept fans going plus AC to dry the paint faster and reduce fumes. Removal of wallpaper from bathroom was not an easy job as previous contractor had done a poor job in putting up the wallpaper. They put swatches of various color paints on the bathroom walls to help us choose the color. They cleaned up well when they finished.

He was from Angie?s List. His name was Steve Cooper and he was absolutely wonderful. He was absolutely great. I can?t speak better of him, he was just great. He told me he charged $75 an hour and he looked at the problem I had. Other wallpaper people wanted to do the whole strip, which I didn?t want to do. I have stripped wallpaper, but instead of running it from the ceiling to the floor, I ran the strip across the wall. So, if he had to replace a strip of it he would be doing the entire wall. Anyway, he said to me, ?would you like me to do the patch?? I said, ?I would love it.? He did a fabulous job. Then when he got through with that there was something else. A little 16 x 20 inside of a door. I said, ?while you?ve got the wallpaper out, while you?re here can you make your trip worth wild, can you do this?? He did and he was just great. He charged me for an hour, he charged me $75. I thought that was pretty reasonable. He didn?t even plan on doing it that day, he was just coming to take a look. I asked him, ?would you just come and take a look and tell me what you think?? He did and he said to me, ?I can do this today.? I said, ?great, do it?, so he did. He made me so happy because that patch was driving me nutty. He said to me, ?Why do you want to do the inside of the door for, you won?t see it?? I said, ?I don?t care, I don?t like looking at the inside, it?s brown and I don?t like that color. So, he did it and he did a fantastic job, couldn?t have done better. He was great!

Excellent. Honest hard working people, very responsive and punctual, all work exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!

I've never had a better contractor experience. Steve is responsive, does neat and clean work, is polite and kind and thoughtful. He offers great advice and does amazing work. Hire him!

Could not possibly have gone better. We found Steve on Angie's List, and he responded immediately and came to our house the next day, exactly on time. He was extremely professional, did an excellent job, explained the reason for the problem we had been having, and fixed the wallpaper throughout the room. HIs charge was more than reasonable. We are thrilled with his work and look forward to hiring him again.

Steve was very responsive and kept us informed of his progress. He sanded and repainted the cabinet fronts and removed the doors to spray paint in his shop. The result was fantastic. Like night and day! The cabinets now have a consistent and smooth finish. Although our L-shaped kitchen is small, alot of work went into it. We made the right choice in hiring Steve.

This contractor was very professional and punctual providing estimate for an interior painting project. In fact, this contractor responded to our request for estimate, and visit us earliest among three we invited to visit.

I feel lucky to have found Steve on Angie's List. Flexible schedule, excellent communication about when they would be working, got right to work and needed no supervision, very good clean-up after the job. Their work looks great. Extra credit: Steve brought several leftover cans of white paint (amazing how many different whites there are) and custom blended them to match a door and trim so he could do touch-ups instead of a full repaint. In a short time I developed a high level of confidence in Steve and his assistant Chris.

Steve and Chris did a beautiful job painting walls and trim in my kitchen, dining area and living room. They also painted my outdated oak cabinets white and they look amazing, bright and modern. They are prompt and professional, very respective and careful of your furniture. Their attention to every detail exceeded my expectation and they made sure to clean up the work area every day before leaving. I would surely recommend them and hire them again in the future.

Steve went above and beyond. I really appreciated his flexibility and kindness. The repair is so well done, I will not even have to paint over it. Clearly he has the talent for high end work but was willing to help us out on our smaller job. Again, I really appreciate the time he took for us.

I was looking for estimates for painting the interior of a 5-room condo and Steve was one of three providers I called. I was very impressed with the amount of time and attention Steve gave to each room, making sure he really got a feel for what would be involved with the project. He also provided a sort of à la carte estimate which would've helped me decide how much I wanted and what each component would cost which I also found very helpful. Since I was looking to sell my condo, I was focusing more on price since I didn't want to spend a lot on a paint job that someone else would likely paint over once they bought the place, so I ended up going with a different provider with a lower estimate. I would consider using Steve for future projects in my own home, though, based on his thoroughness,

He was very thorough. He went back and touched up some areas and went the extra mile.
