Frank did a mortgage plot plan for us - then told us he would followup with a land survey - and kept delaying - which had us loose approx 4 weeks of time - then, he completely stopped answering texts and phone calls. We even called him from a different number, one minute after he had not picked up our number, and he answered. Flakey and unprofessional. I would avoid at all costs and don't waste your time. Disrespectful.

Horrible! Frank Iebba the owner did come to survey and did give us the initial printed survey. BUT, when we called he 5 or 6 times over the course of 3 weeks for the final paperwork needed for the permit he never returned our calls. We emailed him 3 times and text him. Even our contractor called him but never received a call back. We wasted 4 weeks and $800.00. We were forced to start over with a new surveyor who was able to complete the job and paperwork within 5 business days

As you can see from the other reviews here, avoid this guy at all costs. I contacted him mid August for a simple plot plan and he said he could do it quickly. I then spent a couple weeks contacting the guy to deliver the plan. Our last conversation, he was extremely offensive. He cursed at me and made rude comments so I fired him. He acts like he is doing you a "favor" to take your project.and then have you chase after him to produce nothing. Totally unprofessional and arrogant.
Description of Work: In the end, he didn't do anything as I had contacted him for a plot plan and he never delivered it despite multiple contacts.

Wish I checked Angieslist first. Had a land survey for the town for a residential remodel. Guys came out and did the survey relatively quickly but took over a year before I actually received the survey. Owner does not answer emails, phone etc. In the end, I took the survey to the town, they wanted some changes made to it and not a chance I can stand to wait another year for each revision here so this was entirely a waste of money. Strongly advise to look elsewhere.

I paid Frank Iebba of Essex Engineering and Survey $800 to perform a survey of my property for a home addition we have been thinking about. He did deliver the ?as is? survey, along with 1 drawing with the tentative placement for the addition. My wife and I then worked with an architect to come up with a final design for the proposed new construction. Once we had that design, we tried to get back in touch with Frank so he could complete the work by updating the original drawing for submission to the town for a permit. It would have taken him a very small amount of time? but no response from Frank. We offered to pay him more?. but no response from Frank. We asked our architect to contact Frank, thinking Frank would want to preserve his name in the local building community. Frank did respond to the architect, but then went radio silent again. As stated before, we just needed a small amount of Frank?s time to have him update the drawing and put his seal on it. But he wouldn?t do this, and even worse he has repeatedly iterated between claiming to be willing, but then being unreachable, delaying the planning for the larger project. So, now we have to start over with a new surveyor, our schedule is at risk, and the $800 we paid Frank is money down the drain. I wish we had never encountered the services of Frank Iebba / Essex Engineering and Survey.
Description of Work: Goal was to provide a survey for a permit application to the town for a residential addition.
