We have used him twice, and highly recommend. He was able to recover files from a hard drive that we thought was dead. He explains things well to technically challenged baby boomers like us without being condescending.
Description of Work: Elliott completely installed our new computer, transferred all the files, set us back up with our wireless printer, etc.

I used K & E Associates Elliot Shear 617-460-4413 About 2 weeks ago My PC Outlook had stopped working and random antivirus messages kept popping up on my pc He looked at it for 3-4 minutes; and conclude that I had ?contracted? one of those new ?Russian Federation ? fake spam-virus programs. He warned me I might have to wipe the drive and lose everything; but he was successful at downloading a malware ?killer? program from Trend Micro- and managed to disable the bad files long enough to delete them? well worth the the money he charged me- as he did a minor hard drive and windows tuneup on the pc before he left? total 1.5 hours at $95.. $142.50 He knows his pc?s and does a great, polite job; doesn?t seem to get frazzled; treats customers with respect and kindness. Much better than the average tech from Best Buy. Works on Pc?s , printers, networks. He says he can be available on nights and weekends if needed?Sure seems like he can rescue you and your hard drive to keep you going
Description of Work: He elminated a fake spam-virus Russian program and tuned up my pc; got my Outlook running and saved me a lot of grief ..
