+ 0 moreHe is amazing. He is a great plumber and a great guy. He is not the kind of guy that would turn anybody down. He stands behind his work, his stands behind the equipment he puts in your house. He is a really hard worker and an honest guy. He is an A all the way. He takes pride in his work.

Description of Work: Tim has been our plumber for about two years now. We have an old, historic home, with plumbing put in over 100 years ago, and then changed over the years, which is to say, nothing is very straight-forward. Tim has installed a new water tank, fixed ALL the small leaks, especially from faucets (saving us tons of money on our water and sewer bills),repaired a broken water pipe going from the 3rd floor to the basement, answers the phone in emergencies, tells us what to do until he gets here, which is always very soon afterwards.The work he does stays done, which is way more than we can say about some of our earlier plumbers.He's thoroughly knowledgeable and professional. He even cleans up the mess.It's such a relief to have someone we can rely on to come when needed and do a great job. | |One of the other reviewers on this site said that the only thing he doesn't do is spin straw into gold, but in the plumbing world I think that he probably does.

+ -1 moreUnless I have stated up front that the work isn't urgent, Tim is always here almost the minute after I contact him. He understands plumbing emergencies really are important. I'm not really one to judge the quality of plumbing work, but can attest that each problem, once resolved, has never been an issue again. Each time he or his guys come in quickly, locate the problem, then fix it quickly with parts they seem to have on them. In the case of the pump replacement, it took a day to get the new pump, but it was quickly installed and my downstairs bathroom functioning perfectly again. Tim has in the past understood my tight financial situation and priced very fairly, giving me no hassle when I have paid bills a little late. Tim is an extremely honest, ethical man. He seems to take pride in doing good work for good people. Don't bother calling him if you're a jerk! As a homeowner, I feel seriously blessed to have access to such a great professional. This guy is my hero - for pay. The only thing he can't do (we have discussed!) is spin straw into gold. We need to work on that.
Description of Work: Tim or one of his guys has come out to my place several times to fix various plumbing problems. Twice Tim has come when frozen pipes have burst; he has replaced a pump; he has fixed a toilet.

Description of Work: Tim Fallon replaced our direct-vent water heater (a special type of water heater). It broke suddenly, spewing water all over the basement. Tim was on the scene less than an hour after we called. He restored water to the house, and purchased and installed this specialty heater all in the same day. We had a hot shower by evening. We have used this plumber several times over the past several years and he has been CONSISTENTLY punctual, pleasant and, most importantly, competent. His work is quality and stands the test of time. Highly recomment.

+ -1 moreTim shows up, gives you a clear and accurate assessment of your problem and the different options you have to fix it, and conducts himself as a gentleman. You know you won't have to call him back to fix a job the second time.
Description of Work: Tim Fallon is not only a great guy, but a talented craftsman who will always deal with you in an honest manner. He has "re-plumbed" both my old house and the new house I am moving into (the $700 referred to a particularly difficulty job with the shower in my old house). I would never have another plumber touch my pipes. His work is clean and well thought out, and he is reliable. He is not cheap, but I have NEVER had a problem with his work and he backs up his plumbing completely. I give him an "A" for price because although he isn't a discount plumber you can count on the work being done correctly. You can always know if you have a problem he will be there to help you out. I have never written an endorsement like this, but I can't say enough good things about the man or his work.

Description of Work: Over the last 10 years, Tim Fallon has done a range of plumbing work for us: from replacing water heaters to fixing clogs and running toilets. Can't remember exact price, but I think it's around $130 minimum for a service call.
