Commonwealth Masonry and Paving

We needed to replace a the brick stairway at the front entrance of our house. We wanted to replace it with some sort of stone rather than sticking with brick. Commonwealth did a great job from start to finish. This began with a long conversation about our stone and material choices for the new stairs. Sean from Commonwealth was very knowledgeable and experienced, and this helped us have confidence that we were going to end up with a good design. The work was done quickly and without incident. The work was completed on schedule, and the stairs turned out beautifully. We would definitely use Commonwealth Masonry for future jobs, and would recommend them to others.

Commonwealth is a family owned business that is extremely customer friendly. I first met with One of the brothers Sean to estimate a paver installed patio to replace an old concrete garage slab and driveway. While the cost of removal and installation of pavers was fair, it was more than we wanted to spend. On the spot, Sean created multiple alternatives to work within our budget. The patio was created beautifully by a border of red brick, brick design contrasted by blacktop filler. The crew was amazing. They all showed at 7 am over 2 days. The workers were so diligent and focused, run by 2 of the other brothers, everything was clean and done to specs in a timely manner. Hire this group! We would use them again and highly recommend. They are user friendly and stick with their commitment.
