My request for quote was answered via telephone call the same day by the owner, Dion. Other vendors had called earlier in the day, however they surmised that our roof probably needed more than repair, and 'suspected" that we needed a new roof because this situation was highly unusual - all without even seeing the house! Once I described the job to Dion, however, he explained to me that falling/missing shingles is common with Gambrel roofing on the vertical (sides not top)portion of the roof. He quoted me a price of $200 for approximately 10 -12 shingle replacements (we already had the materials - architectural shingles leftover from the installation a number of years ago) , and explained that more than 1 hour or 12 shingles would require additional fees. He then gave me an estimate of when he could send someone out to do the job - in just a couple of days. So, I told him he had the job. I called back late the same day to ask for confirmation of insurance, he provided me his insurance company's contact information and I called and left a message as it was past business hours. They replied the next morning via phone call, and followed up with an e-mail certificate of insurance for our property before the job was to begin. Unfortunately, it decided to rain on the day of the job, so we rescheduled. The day of service came, it rained again on their morning project - postponing their arrival to my home until late afternoon. Dion kept me informed of possible arrival times. The worker arrived late afternoon. The job was completed that evening - it was a bigger job than anticipated due to the missing shingles being scattered at different locations all over the large area roof, requiring many moves of a big ladder. The darkness also was a factor as the house is surrounded by woods. In the twilight, the job looked good. The following day, I could see that a couple of shingles were still missing - I'm sure that both myself, and the roofing repair person could not see this due to the darkness. After calling Dion and explaining the situation, he said he would be out ASAP to take care of those shingles, and he did that very day! Overall I can say we were very happy with the service, the owner kept us well informed throughout, and the quality of the work was very good. We would certainly hire this company again without hesitation.

I called in Dion from Certified Roofers to give me an estimate on replacing my roof. He was one of four estimates I received. When I met with a Dion a few days later I was very impressed with his professional presentation. He explained all aspects of the work in a totally understandable manner. What impressed me the most in our initial meeting was the fact that unbeknownst to me he had been here a couple of days before, and was already totally knowledgeable about the job. He gave me a solid price and assured me there would be no hidden charges. There were none. He actually did a little more then we asked. I could not have been more pleased with the work, and the effort put forth by the crew. They cleaned up everything and and even called shortly after to make sure we were totally satisfied. I highly recommend Certified Roofing.

Got many bids from a lot of roofers. At first Certified Roofing came in the highest, but Dion made it clear that he was interested in the business. After I was done with all my quotes, Dion called back to talk business and I asked if he would meet my average price for the quotes, he agreed with no arguing. He was very easy to work with. What I liked about Certified roofing is after getting a lot of quotes, Dion was the easiest to work with. I liked was his straightforward approach to answering questions vs giving a sales pitch. With all my quotes, some roofers told my my chimney needed to be redone, and others didn't. Those who did want to do it gave me a sales pitch. Dion answer was the most straight forward and I enjoyed a non sales-y answer. They expected to do the work in 2 days, and on the first scheduled day it rained. I expected them to delay the project till the next week. But late on the second day (I wasn't even home) I got a call from Dion saying "its done and watertight, but my grinder didn't work so i have to come back and finish the chimney." I was surprised and impressed, 2200 sq ft of roof in a short winter day, very impressive. Awesome job and the roof looks great.

The contractor Dione Gaines answers the phone and promptly returns calls. He performed a roof inspection and was the only contractor who actually went on the roof to inspect it. We discussed how the job was going to be done and addressed several areas of concern I had. Based on this discussion I felt that Dione was knowledgable and experienced so I accepted some of his recomendations such as flashing work on the chimney. (Which BTW looks great) I choose Reliable Roofing as they bid teh job substantially less than other contractors AND they did work on my neighbors roof several years earlier. My neighbors roof looked good and their work appeared to hold up so I was confident that I would get some quality work. The crew showed up at 8AM and worked until dark. The bulk of the work was done in a day (tear off and weather tight replacement). Three additional short vists were done over then next few days (weather was an issue) to detail the job. The work done on these follow up days included installation of zinc strips on the garage roof, reinstallation of gutter guards, shingling a 5x5ft shed roof and site clean up. My only criticism is that I wish they had used additional tarps on the ground. Tarps were used to protect the sides of the house from falling debrie and to collect the old shingles during the tear off. A couple were short and dind't cover as much ground. As a result my wife kept finding small bits of shingles in her garden, lawn and bushes. Despie that little bit of nit picking I was so pleased that I recommended Reliable Roofing to my parent who used them to install a new roof.

Dion and his crew were a pleasure to work with. He returned calls promptly, they showed up in a timely fashion and thoroughly explained the different payment options and what they would do on the roof and why. Then he blew me away when he told me that whole job would be done and cleaned up in 1 day. I must admit that I was skeptical. True to his word by the end of the day the roof was done my yard was clean, they even avoided damaging my flowers. My only regret is that I don't have more roofs for them to cover.
