They never got back to me, even though I submitted payment in advance through Angie's list. I am very disappointed with these people and to be honest with AL. I hope I wasn't charged, if I was I need my money back.

I called and my appointment was scheduled right away. Dion had told me to expect him between 11 and 11:30am. He called me to let me know when he was on his way, and he arrived within the window he had given me. He spent a while inspecting the roof, and then came inside to look at some water stains I was concerned about. He gave me a detailed explanation of my roof's condition, made some suggestions, and told me which things could wait and which he would recommend I take care of sooner. He gave me an idea about the anticipated cost, but didn't pressure me to make any decisions on the spot, and the prices seemed very reasonable. He was very professional and just a really nice guy. I was very satisfied and will definitely be hiring him to do the work that needs to be done on our roof.

We also received a quote for the roof replacement, but ultimately chose another roofing company.

Dion arrived on time and did the analysis that needed to be done by examining the roof from the top. He was very pleasant to work with.

Everything went very well. The man was courteous and did not over charge me for what he did. He was honest with his evaluation. He also came on time. He was also very good at what he did.

We purchased an Angie's List "Big Deal" for a roof inspection and full detailed report, plus $150 credit towards repairs. It ended up being a waste of our money. Dion was nice, and his inspection was thorough. However, because of his lack of reliability, we have given up on using his services. He arrived more than an hour late for the first appointment because he had "forgotten to write it down". I had to call him to remind him, and then he did come and do the inspection. Afterwards, we asked for quotes for several types of work. He seemed eager to get the job but was repeatedly unreachable by email and it took many reminders to get him to finally reply with a quote. The amounts seemed reasonable, but the quotes were not thorough and did not address all the specific issues we had asked for. I cannot speak to the quality of the work Certified Roofing can do. My guess is that, if Dion could straighten out his communications impairments, he might be worth hiring. He seemed trustworthy, knowledgeable and kind.

I waited until it rained hard several times before I wrote this review. And I'm happy to say that Certified did a great job (and the roof is holding up just fine). I first came to learn of them through an Angies List coupon for a roof inspection and minor repair. Dave came down from the roof with lots of pictures for me to see that confirmed what I had half expected...that it was well beyond repair. He went back up and took measurements and discussed my various options. Within a day I had a full quote. I went back to Angies List and found several others to also come out and give me quotes. Everyone uses the same materials from GAF, so that part was easy to comparison shop. In the end, Certified gave me a great price so I went with them. They promised to start in a week, and sure enough, at 7am on the day indicated their trucks and installers showed up. Their workers all worked incredibly hard, especially given that it was a very hot couple of days. The first surprise was when they cleared the old roof we discovered that the original builder had never put any underlayer up. No wonder I didn't even get to the 20 year mark. Certified's crew took great care to put up the ice guard and underlayer and to prep and seal the skylights and chimney before they put on the actual tiles. It all looks great. Especially when it rains! They completed everything in less time than the original estimate. And they were very nice people to work with, and very particular about keeping the area clean while they worked. Dion, the owner, checked in on his workers several times and also with me. They did what they said they would, with as little disruption as was possible, on time, on budget, and in a friendly manner. Even our dog didn't get too riled up with all of the commotion. What more could you want? All in all a good experience and I won't hesitate to recommend them (already have in fact) to friends, neighbors and Angie's List members.

After scheduling a time to do the work (and a last minute cancellation by Dion on the day the work was to be done), part of the work was completed quickly. Dion then reported to me that one of the gutters was more rotted than he originally thought and it would take more time. That was OK with me and I offered to pay for the additional work as needed. Dion is a very nice person and I believe he is completely fair and honest. Unfortunately he seems to be completely disorganized. After the initial success he repeatedly canceled at the last minute or simply didn't show up on the agreed upon day. I kept emailing and calling him -at least 10 times total- and his work crew finally showed up one day to replace the rotted gutter. But the decayed downspout still needed to be replaced. I told Dion that I this had to be done soon because I scheduled a painter to come in a few weeks. He kept promising to finish the job, and even showed up briefly one day but didn't do anything. Finally, a few days before the painter was scheduled to arrive, he promised to do it and I even emailed him a reminder the day before. He confirmed he'd be there. The next day he simply never showed up. No email, nothing. I had to postpone the painter and now I've given up on Dion and I'm looking for another roofer to finish the job. Dion is a decent guy and I'd love to give him a good review, but working with him was an aggravation and I cannot recommend him because he is so unreliable. Follow up: I contacted another roofer to finish the work. When he arrived he said that the prior work was of poor quality. He showed me the problems: molding that didn't match original and corners where gutters didn't meet well and were patched together with some material that wouldn't hold up for more than a couple of years. Based on this information I must lower the quality level to C.

It went really well. I called this company after seeing a few of there online reviews and was looking forward to working with them if there price was right. Dion , the owner, picked up the phone and scheduled with me that week. When he came by I was surprised because he got on the roof to check the boards. I was impressed because no one else had done that. When he and his crew came to do the work I was immediately impressed with there equipment ( power ladders, heavy duty mesh tarps) it was pretty impressive. They got the job done in 2 days and re-decked the entire roof with new wood. Clean up was great His foreman noticed that some of my clapboard siding was rotted and Dion had him replace it at no cost.

May 5th, I bought an Angie's List deal to get a roof inspection and credit for $150 worth of work for $60. I had to call and email multiple times to get the inspection - it took at least a month. The guy who did it, Dave, was a nice guy and did not try to sell me a new roof (which I appreciate the honesty). But I have a small leak by a vent pipe, and I wanted to get it fixed. Dave said, no problem, I'll be back next week. Never saw him. I had to email & call multiple times. Several weeks after the first visit, I got through to the owner, Dion; who also seems like a nice, honest guy; but he said I'll be there tomorrow - and then doesn't show up. Several phone messages later (without them getting back to me), I get through to him and he says I'm sorry, I'll come over today. He finally comes over and spends some time, but I had to leave while he was there. Later my wife tells me that he left saying he couldn't fix it because some of the wood is missing, it's a bigger job. wait-wait-wait He doesn't call or email. I track him down again, and he says, it's a bigger job, I'll need to send you an estimate. That was over a week ago, and no estimate. I know this is a small job, but over the last 2 months the leak that created a small stain in my bathroom now has spread to a much larger stain on the ceiling. At this point, I will not and can not use these guys. This Angie's List deal was a complete waste of money and time. I hate to give anyone a bad review, but seriously guys you won't be in business long if you don't get your act together.

He simply told me the job would be 15 minutes not even knowing how big my house was. The man eventually hung up on me.

Dion came out to the house and performed a roof inspection. He pointed out the areas that were in need of immediate attention. We spoke about the secondary benefits of getting an energy star roof on a cape style house. Dion was prompt for all appointments and completely professional in all business dealings. He gave me a quote and I called him back to accept the estimate. He had a crew at my house the following morning and they had the job completed by the end of the day. He returned to collect the final payment and to make sure that I was happy with all services provided. In every instance, Dion worked to make sure that I was satisfied with the work and service provided. I have a beautiful new roof and I am completely satisfied.

From the original estimate to the completed job every step of the way was professional. The entire process was wonderful. I am super satisfied. I strongly endorse and recommend Certified Roofing. Hire Dion and Certified Roofing with confidence.

**Update** Dion of Certified Roofing contacted me to apologize for the miscommunication I had with the company. He offered to come to my house in person and deliver an estimate. I fully appreciate his apology and communication. I would consider using this company in the future. I contacted Certified Roofing and scheduled an inspection of my roof. On the agreed date and time, no one showed up. I called to find out what happened and the man on the phone apologized and said it was due to user error in the scheduling. We rescheduled for later that week. On the day and time he was supposed to arrive, no one showed up. I called about an hour after the scheduled appointment and the man said that he was just about to call me - all appointments had been cancelled because of rain earlier in the day. I asked him why he hadn't called me Before the appointment or Earlier in the day and he apologized. He said because of all the missed appointments he would refund my Angie's List coupon price ($59) and still come out to do the inspection. He did show up on the third appointment, and to my surprise was a very nice and likeable man. He explained some things about my roof, reset a few loose shingles and said that he would refund my money and send me a written estimate. I have yet to received the refund or the written estimate. The only reason I didn't give this company and 'F' was because the guy was so personable and was very professional and friendly in person. I imagine that if a customer can get the scheduling right, there is a good chance he and his team would do decent work.

I started contacted them two days after I purchased a Deal. They missed the first scheduled appointment and I was told they just simply forgot. I agreed to schedule again, but they failed to show a second time. They have since stopped returning my calls. They did not contact me when Angie’s List requested they do so either. I’m now seeking a refund.

The dumpster arrived a couple days before the roofing job because of rain those two days. The workers arrived early on the next dry day and worked long days, but finished the job in 2 days. They were careful in removing any plants or furniture away from the house so it wouldn't get damaged. They did do an excellent job on the roof and the soffet vents. The only inconvenience was that we were not warned that when the roof was opened for the ridge vent, debris and dust from the shingles would fall into the attic. We have a lot of stuff in the attic and it would have been an easy matter to cover everything with plastic tarps to catch the debris. Someone did come back to clean a large portion of the debris, but al lot of it fell into boxes and clothing, etc that will take a long time to clean out. Overall,and in spite of the attic debris it was a pleasant business experience.Good,skilled workers;attentive management make us feel we were well served.

The owner Dion was very professional and responsive. Was very clear about the process and provided extras at a fair price. The job was done very efficiently and within a day. He didn't cut any corners and did a great job. Highly recommended.

Dion was not only responsive, but he called the morning of the appointment to see if he could come early, which was fine with me and he showed up right on time. Minor repair work was identified and was completed professionally, quickly, and at a great price. Highly recommend.

I wasn't sure when I purchased this deal, however it was in my opinion worth the $59.00 to discover if Angie's List and their contractors were as good as advertised. Prior contractors would show up and when they saw the scope of the work to be done never returned to complete their commitment even after a price was agreed on. Dion showed up quickly on the morning of my purchase, saw the immediate work to be performed and returned to do this small job as promised within 2 days. I'm still in awe! Thank you Certified Roofing and thank you Angie's List! Now on to our conversion project oil to gas. Good bye oil!

I contacted Dion because of the Angie's list reviews and rating. When I called to see if he could inspect the property he was very confident he would be able to fulfill our request and made an appointment with us for early the following week. He did the inspection of the roof which included taking pictures and a report describing the photos. We were happy with the result and thankful for Dion's service.

After contacting Certified Roofing, we set up an appointment so they could give me a price. They were very punctual and very reasonably priced. They explained what I needed and what the process was. The day the job was to be done, they arrived right on time and got right to work. I was amazed at how efficiently they removed the old roofing materials, cleaned up as they went and installed the new roof. I am very happy with the finished product. My roof looks great!! Dion was such a pleasure to work with, very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant. I would most definitely recommend Certified Roofing to all my family, friends and neighbors.

Purchases a "Big Deal" on Angies List for a roof inspection and credit towards repair. I had a minor leak. Dion came, after looking at the roof for 10 minutes knew exactly what the problem was. 3 days later it was fixed. He explained the issues clearly, and did an awesome job.

I got Dion to inspect my roof. Not only did he do a superb job and gave me a very reasonable quote for a couple of minor issues with my roof, he also replaced some vent ridge shingles that were blow off in a recent storm while he was inspecting the roof.

Took them a while (a week) to get started over originally estimated start date (and this was not an emergency), but you can expect that with roofers: they are dependent on weather and never know how much extra work might actually be involved until the old roof is stripped. The estimate of work to be done was quite complete (I know this is mostly boilerplate, but it's still comforting to see all items covered. I get nervous if something is 'assumed'.). They worked hard and spared no effort on the details, which impressed me. They did a superb job (much better than the old roofing job had been done) and I recommend them unhesitatingly.
