Everything went fine. He arrived a little late. He inspected the roof and found everything in good condition. He added some sealant to the flashing around the chimneys which had become lose. He was frendly and did a good job.

They replied promptly to my application for the service, that I got fast. He made the appointment, which I had verified. I had gone to the hospital but I had left a note for him to call me. I never got a call from him. My hospital visit was an emergency, I got operated on, went into rehab. I got back from the hospital two to three weeks ago and have called him, left two voicemail messages, and he has not called me back.

Dion and his crew are outstanding. Very polite and professional. Estimated price was dead on, no surprises. Extremely hard working crew. They were on time and only stopped working for a half hour lunch and they were right back at work and didn?t stop until they finished. Unbelievable in this day to have such hard workers. I highly recommend Dion and his crew if you are in need of a roof repair or a new roof. Dion uses quality material and is not overpriced. We truly got our money worth and would not hesitate uses or recommend Dion. Dion is a man of his word and was great to work with. Very satisfied. The DeGenova's in Peabody, Ma.

Bought a coupon and made two appointments. Both were no-shows.

I read reviews of their services, and they sounded great. However, after waiting all day for them to show up for an appointment, they stood us up. Initially they just told us we were double booked, after they were two hours late, and then they arrived late in the afternoon at the wrong house. On top of that, there wasn't much of an apology or an attempt to make it right.

I bought an Angie's List Deal for Certified Roofing to inspect and make repairs on our roof. When the owner, Dion, came for the inspection, he got up on the roof, took pictures, and then met with us to 1) refund our deal amount!! and 2) give us our free estimate to tell us that we needed a new roof as our 1890 cape had 3 layers of shingles and was showing clear signs of damage & rot. After researching his given quote compared to the current market rate, we knew that it was a no-brainer to move forward with this purchase. Dion and his crew gave us a beautiful new Timberline GAF roof. During every stage of the process, Dion went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy. His crew worked tirelessly and they finished the job in 2 days, as promised. Our only recommendation is to be sure that Dion's crew takes special precautions to prep the perimeter of the house as removing shingles is very messy work. That being said, Dion was responsive and engaged throughout this job. We highly recommend him!

The company did not return calls or emails over the past several months so I have not been able to even have the prepaid service performed. I will not use this company for roofing needs.

Job was done professionaly and completed by time I returned from work.

It went great ... He showed up, explained the issue, and performed the work for a great price. He even put the boards on our deck back to where they were before, he is highly recommended!

It was very easy. Part of the reason why I waited so long was because I was worried and intimidated by the process of choosing a roofer. I worked directly with the Owner, Dieon, he was great and explained exactly what they'd be doing. He didn't work on the roof with his guys but did go up a number of times to supervise. The cleanup was great and now I have a lifetime roof.

As you can tell...not very well. The service performed would be free from anyone else.

The take home message: There are reputable roofers who won't jerk you around, will show up on time and/or call and reschedule if they can't be there. This guy has a significant number of 1 star reviews. This is not a coincidence. Find a roofer with an A rating. Don't be a statistic. The Story:I set up an mid-afternoon appointment with Certified Roofing to inspect a roof. Left work, fought traffic, etc... When I arrived at the house (on time), I waited around for 30-40 mins after the start of our supposed appointment. No roofing guy. No call. No nothing. Silence. After the 40 minute mark, I called the number and here's a close approximation of the conversation: Him: "Certified Roofing"Me: "Hi, I was supposed to have a roofing inspect around 40 mins ago"Him: "Yeah, we're not going to get around to doing that today. Sorry. Want to reschedule?"Me: "No thanks" I'm a pretty reasonable guy. If he were late, or called earlier in the day so that I didn't have to leave work, it would be fine. We're all busy and sometimes s*** happens. Not calling to reschedule earlier in the day so I didn't waste a few hours would have been the obvious and decent thing to do. The kicker is, upon originally calling to schedule the inspection, he told me that he would waive the ~$300 fee if I would write a review for him on Yelp and Angie's list. Review written, J******.

Nothing happened. I want my money back. This was my first Angie's experience and I'm thinking of cancelling my membership as well. The work was not performed. I do not wish to continue with this "company". I believe I'm entitled to a refund of my $99.00.

I didn't have alot of work to be done. I only wanted to make sure that my roof would be safe for the winter.

Certified roofing replaced my roof and the roof of the garage in two days. The crew did a wonderful job. Everyone was hard-working, polite, careful and professional. I recommend Certified Roofing highly. sitive comments about the crew as well as compliments from neighbors.

Dion was professional and upbeat and nothing was a problem.

Like many others that bought this Big deal and have reported, they did no work whatsoever. They came over the first time a few weeks ago to look at the roof and got on one of the shorter roof tops from an upper window to take a quick look. He claimed that our roof was in terrible shape and needed to be replaced for $10,000 ASAP. We said we could consider this and asked him if he would just replace the vent cap for us in the mean time since we paid $99 for the maintenance coupon. He agreed to come back and do that. He came back today and refused to replace the vent cap as promised. He claimed he could not walk on the shingles even though he was walking on the shingles just a few weeks ago while we watch just fine. He said the roof was too bad and the shingles were not holding up and we should have it replaced by him for $10K. The roof should not be in need of replacing since it was done in 2005... he didn't do any work and if felt like he was just trying to get a sale for a big job. What a waste of time! I am trying to get a refund now for the $99.

bought the coupon for roof inspection, thought it was a deal. emailed the service, no response . Eventually my phone call went through. was told he was out of town?I have to respectfully disagree with the excuse, even in Africa, you can answer your email if you want. Was promised to email me back to schedule an appointment. Again, no email of course. called again, left my message, no call back.why I have to waste my time here? ended up calling angielist and get my refund in 5 mins

I had a roof leak that needed repaired on a house I am about to sell. WIthout getting up on a ladder, I was told that finding the cause of the leak was not possible . Having a "reputation to maintain" a fix was not an option. I was repeatedly told that only acomplete tear and re-roof was my only option. The house is a ranch and certainly roof accessible but the inspection was notperformed. I was also told again and again that the 3 layers presently on the house would not pass inspection (Not his concern)in a effort to change my mind and agree to the solition that cost 10 -15 times the amount of a simple repair. I have since found outthat if an actual inspection had been performed, the reason would have been obvious; shingles had lifted and was causing the leak.Any roofing company that says they can't fix a leak, isn't even worththe wasted $99.00 I spent to get them out there

From the beginning Dion was responsive to my query for an estimate and description of the work to be done. He was on time for both appointments (meeting for the estimate and also the services the day of). He showed up and repaired a leaking skylight, I noticed the next day that there was still a minor leak and called to alert him and he came back the very next day to address the issue and since then have had no problems. I felt that he was professional, honest, and reasonably priced. I especially appreciated how quickly he could come back to address the issue. I would call him again based on the experience I had with him.

I took the time off work for the appointment this morning. He called me five minutes before he was supposed to be here and said that he was backlogged on work. He said that he maybe could be here around 2:30pm. When I said to him that I was going to give feedback to angies list about this, he said he didn’t want to work with me and cancelled the appointment.

Overall, despite the tardiness, that Dion provided the services I expected with a great attitude.

They didn't follow-up and I never received a written report as they promised.

Initially this did not start well. I sent an email that I never received a response. So about 2 weeks later I called and an appointment was set up for 2 days later. This appointment was missed with no phone call. I called that day about 1 hr after the appointment and found out they had written down the wrong date and phone number. So a new appointment was scheduled for Weds the 15th. Dave was very professional and apologetic for missing the initial appointment. He did go out of his way to then accommodate my schedule despite the inconvenience to himself. The inspection was good and he obviously knows what he is talking about. He was thorough and answered my questions completely. After the inspection he did provide an estimate for a new roof but was very clear though that I could get a few more years out of my current roof and when ready he would be happy to do the job. The estimate seemed very fair for the work to be done. I do not know how many square as i forgot to ask. My wife and I are now very seriously considering getting the work done as the estimate was very fair. Overall very good experience, punctuality leaves alittle to be desired but i would trust the work. If we do decide to have the roof done. i will post a review based on that work

A worker came out on Saturday morning. He didn't want to do the job and wanted me to call the original roofer to have the problem fixed. He went back and forth with me and kept saying "I didn't hear him" and was being very rude to me. I was just trying to get the deal done that I already paid for. He said "I don't need to go through this on a Saturday morning". I didn't ask him to come out on a Saturday morning, they scheduled me at that time. On Monday, I tried to call the office and spoke with the contact person on the deal. He was not aware of anything that happened. He didn't want me to go into any detail. He said he would find out what happened and get back to me. He also said he would do the job. It has been 10 days and I haven't heard from him.
