I met Jared Meadows during the quote-gathering stage of my vinyl siding project, and I appreciated his honest and no nonsense approach. I got a quote from him the same day he came out to take a look at our property so already I was hoping I got to do business with Meadows Construction. After having another company refuse to give me a quote for Certainteed Mainstreet siding (they were pushing Harvey shingles) and another company give me a 20 page quote that was $2000 higher than Meadows Construction, I got my wish. Meadows Construction did what they said for a good price, started the project within two weeks of my giving them a deposit and finished within two weeks of starting even with a few rain days. I had them replace a storm door and some windows and those turned out great, the siding job looks beautiful, everyone from random dog walkers to the mailman has complimented us on the upgrade to our home. There was a minor problem with the door closer and Meadows sent someone to correct it within a few days of my call. They also promptly refunded the $200 I had paid them for shutters that in the end there was no room for on the dormers of my Cape. I would definitely recommend them and will hire them again for future home improvement projects.

They came in one day and stripped the old siding off and put up the new siding in a week and half. A very professional job and looks great. Excellent work.

Just a great experience from start to finish with Meadows. These are real contractors not vinyl siding salespeople. They used custom software to quickly estimate the cost. Everything was done right. The old siding was completely removed and the underlying sheathing was repaired and replaced. Everything was quoted upfront with no surprises. Installation was very quick and we must have had a dozen neighbors commenting on how good it looked. They supplied their own dumpsters and everything was cleaned and hauled away when done. I was so happy with the work I had them replace my deck as well! Everyone from the owner to the front office to those on the crew, thank you for a great job!

Meadows Construction was excellent from start to finish! I hired them to completely reside my house, including stripping off 2 layers of old siding. The gentlemen that did the work were friendly, professional, and respectful of my property & myself and my family. Miselle the foreman was incredible to work with, asking me my opinion on anything important regarding the work, and like his workers, the quality was outstanding. The manager Mike was also outstanding, even coming out to do a second inspection to make sure everything was completed to my satisfaction before completing the job. I wholeheartedly recommend Meadows for any work, and it was especially nice that their company is only a couple towns away from me.

Although the outside appearance of my house is much nicer than it was before this siding job, I don't feel the quality of work Meadows Construction performed was worth the cost or headaches. I cannot recommend this company for siding projects. Work Issues: * The crew left debris consisting of nails, screws, sharp pieces of metal, small siding pieces and food waste which I cleaned up. * A cover plate they installed around my irrigation plumbing was cracked with large openings around pipes. I asked several times for that to be repaired and since it wasn't I caulked it over myself. * There were multiple large gaps in seams and trim that I glued down. In several cases seams and trim were not properly placed, or overlapping in the wrong direction. One trim piece over my back deck had virtually no overlap and dropped down a week after the job ended. * Paint was damaged on my front door and kitchen window trim. * The wood between the left and right kitchen windows was wrapped in aluminum which blocked them from opening. I had to remove the aluminum and caulk the openings. * The crew dented my garage door and initially denied responsibility. The panel replacement cost was later covered by them. * A shut-off valve in my basement got damaged and started leaking when they hit the water spigot on the front of my house. They also covered the cost on this. * Overall I made several complaints about sloppy work or short cuts taken, which resulted in work that needed to be redone correctly. Cost Issues: The final cost increased by $2,400 from the original quote. Some increases were justified since they charged extra for replacement wood. Part of that cost went towards $1,550 for new gutters since I was told my existing ones weren't reusable. I was also charged a lot for extra PVC installed around sliding doors which I was told was absolutely necessary. This was somehow missed in the original quote. The original quote also included two replacement gable vents and 3/8" installation on the entire house. Neither of these was installed, yet I only received $600 credit which was probably 50% of what I was owed. Note: Without consent, I deducted $200 from the final bill based on trash removal and caulking work I performed. ****** RESPONSE TO THEIR REPLY: It's completely false the crew performed a thorough (or even moderate) clean up at the end of this job. Also all caulking and repairs I performed were after the job was completed. Furthermore since I work from home, I was easily able to see any obvious mistakes in their work during the job. Unfortunately several problems were caught after the job was completed which I repaired to the best of my ability.

I had a three family, that needed siding, windows, and gutters. It was a big job. After no-shows from contractors, and a few who stopped returning calls even after giving me estimates, I called Meadows. Mike came right over and gave me a fair estimate. Once I gave them the "OK" they started within a few days and finished the job in about three weeks. The house looks like new. The way that they put the trim around the windows, overlaps the siding. I've never seen it done this way, but it looks great. His workers were professional, polite, and respectful of the property. I would definitely hire them again if I need something done again.

Jared Meadows, owner, of Meadows Construction is a pleasure to work with. His company recently completed/repaired all trim, soffits, and fascia boards at my mother's residence. Jared's employees were efficient, super friendly, and very professional. My mother couldn't say enough of these guys. The work completed looks fantastic and I would easily and highly recommend this company!

They were the first company to respond to me for the work. Jared is very bright and knowledgeable. Jared got right back to me with prices within 24 hours. The work crews are FANTASTIC...!!! They are very easy to deal with and they do it all, totally professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting vinyl siding or roofing.

Jared and his team were very responsive, clean, professional and helpful. Jared was timely with his proposal and we were able to come up with a solution that made our house look remarkably better. We had an issue with the window mantels and they came up with a cost effective solution that makes our house look great. I will hire them again for other home construction projects. I highly recommend this company.

Jared and crew were knowledgeable, professional and courteous. The crew worked hard from dawn to dusk with melting ice and snow dripping on them from my roof after 2 back to back nor’easters. I was quite surprised they returned so soon after the storms. Despite the conditions they did a meticulous job, especially on the trim. I am so pleased with the look of my house I’ve questioned why I waited so long to do it! Thanks Meadows’s Construction!

Great people. Once I contacted Meadows construction they got right back to me which I can not say about the other companies that I contacted. The sent out soneone to do an estimate and I received a written estimate the next day. I had 2 proposed projects to be done but only chose to do one project. I had a few more questions and wouldn’t you know the gentalmen who came to do the estimate came back to go over my questions!! Very much appreciated. The work was high in quality and I have no complaints at all. They even did a few other things that weren’t in the estimate that needed to be done without an extra charge. I have more projects to be done in the future and I have no qualms about calling Meadows construction again

Very good to work with

At my request they searched out gutter covers to take care of a pine needle problem clogging my gutters. They recommended a type of stainless steel gutter screen which I had them install. It looks like they are going to be very effective while still letting the rain flow into the gutter.

They were efficient and cleaned up everything after the project was completed

Have been trying to get a gazebo roof replaced for over a year. Prior to Meadows Construction, found two possible contractors through Home Advisor. Both quoted on the project and then reneged after quoting on it. Recently was put in touch with Meadows Construction. From the first phone call through the completion of the project, it was nothing but professional. Their entire staff is to be commended for a job well done. The project was completed in a timely fashion at a competitive price. The crews were unbelievably great. I give this company five stars and will always contact them first for any project I might have in the future.
