Their bill is paid for by the condo management, but my rent helps pay those fees. They do OK with emptying the recyclables. However, their removal of trash has been average or poor. The first problem is that they have only one dumpster on my side of the large condo bldg. The previous haulers had 2, which were often both full by trash pickup day. The one dumpster is always full to overflowing by Tuesday, when it is emptied. Because of this, trash bags or boxes filled with trash are usually left to the side of the dumpster. Usually, but not always, they pick up the trash on the side. Yesterday, they LEFT 2 boxes of trash in cardboard boxes next to the dumpster. DID NOT PICK IT UP. If they are going to reject the assistant condo manager's request that they have 2 dumpsters, the least they can do is to always pick up the side trash. Yesterday was the 3rd time in the year they have been the haulers that they failed to do so.

My builder priced disposal companies, and they were all around $575 for a 30-yarder. We chose JRM for their visibility. We were shocked at the bill. They wanted $1500 for both containers. They charged us almost $200 for going over weight. I can't disagree, since I don't have a scale that big. But a $100 fuel surcharge is a scam! I wouldn't have chose them if they said it upfront (their technique). They said gas prices had gone up (over 7 days?)! They said they told us - LIARS! Why would we choose them? They wasted hours of my and my GC's time by not responding to our phone calls. Finally, I threatened them, a manager offered $50 back. I told them fine, but I'd write them up on Angie's - they didn't care a bit. Of course, they never did refund the money - I'll dispute the charge through Amex. They're a big and nasty firm that just wants your money real bad. I called around and no one else has a surcharge. I chose McGeoghean for the 3rd container - Angie's A-lister! Go Angie's!
Description of Work: JRM dispatched and picked up two 30 cubic yard containers for the disposal of materials from a home undergoing a major renovation. The bill came to almost $1500, and they billed me in between the two containers.
