JEAN AMARO

Originally I was considering both New Bedford and Fall River, both 2-family homes and condos and in the lowest price range, so she could not have expected to make a great commission. (Ultimately the bank that owned the house I selected paid her a bonus, so she made out okay.) She was very responsive and prompt, set up appointments for all the places I asked to see, grouped so as to minimize the driving around and time missed from work. She had recommendations for a home inspector and electrician when I needed those services. Her husband is a plumber and he even contributed some work gratis to "dewinterize" the house and get the heating system into a condition in which it could be tested. I feel she went above and beyond in helping me through what could have been a very traumatic process and was always good-humored and optimistic about my prospects of finding a suitable home.
