They rebuilt two chimneys on our 1850s house in New Bedford, and installed a granite patio on the front of our house. Both jobs were impossibly difficult but they completed them in a timely manner, cleaned up all traces of construction debris and returned immediately to correct any minor issues. We intend to hire them again for our next project and give them an A+++ in every category.
Description of Work: Dismantled two chimneys and rebuilt new ones. Removed old patio and installed new granite patio.

Description of Work: J Marshall Masonry rebuilt chimney from roofline using new bricks and lead flashing. He also repaired roofing shingles down from chimney- line and at various other locations.

+ -1 moreIt was an unbelievably HOT day, and there was NO shade where they worked. Jason was on the roof all day rebuilding my chimney form the roofline up. Tom worked on my front steps all day re-building much of the cracking mortar between the bricks. They were very professional and courteous. With an impending thunder storm coming in as they were ready to clean up, they scrambled to complete the necessary steps before leaving that day. They returned the next day as expected and diligently cleaned up anything that was left from the day before. I was very pleased with their services and would highly recommend them to other customers in the area.
Description of Work: Jason is the owner of this small, privately-owned masonry, general contracting business. He brought one assistant with him for the estimate and the actual work. With my permission, they arrived at 7AM as agreed and finished about 5PM on the same day. I contracted them to rebuild my chimney from the roofline up and rebuild the mortar between my front steps.
