C. Mota Contracting

Carlos Mota and his workers were ok with putting up sheet rock and awful at everything else they touched. They used old and used materials when they got paid handsomely for new. The materials that they did put in new where of the lowest grade. Siding in the backside of apartment is different colors and buckling. Wood flooring installed on two floors was installed wrong and is now cracking or separating. Entrance doors on three apartments are the wrong size..not level..with one of them being "used"! Electrician wired 3rd floor into 1st floor..outside and hall lights tied into 1st floor..when showing on the panel they were tied into house panel. Found out by accident that wiring was done all wrong when a fuse blew on 2nd floor. Two windows were installed improperly and are now leaking and need to be replaced. Near all sinks regular electric sockets were installed instead of gfi's..gfi's installed away from sinks on all floors. Insurance company paid him to do so much work that was not done. Had to hire another electrician to correct the problem. Also had to hire another contractor who estimated me a hefty bill to fix or replace the wrongs that Carlos Mota ind his workers did. This contractor took advantage of a desperate situation and showed up at my 3family the day of my house fire. My insurance company paid the man handsomely to fix my home...I was promised the best of everything as well as a trip to Disney world..I should have taking this first warning sign that he was shady. All I got was a cookie cutter contractor, more bills, and a lot of headaches. He should not be holding a license!
