All contracted work was completed on time and completely. Additional items, as deemed necessary by this contractor, or requested by the homeowner, were discussed and an estimate was prepared. Project completed as described and at price of estimate. The crew was respectful of property and privacy. Excellent care taken to clean up each day, and leave the property in nice condition when the job was complete. Very satisfied that all improvements and requested add-ons were appropriate and high quality. Although this was a very expensive project, we are satisfied that we got full value from the work done, and that it will add to the value of our home.

Called this handyman for the following: remove an existing door. install a new exterior door and lockset. Add 2 locksets to 2 existing interior doors. He was very nice and accomodating. We made an appointment for him to come and price the job. I raced home from shopping to give myself a half hour lee-way to ready the house for him and get myself in order. He never showed up. No call. No text. No go.

Robert returned my call for an estimate promptly and was at my house two days after the phone call to price the job. Initially I was going to have the subfloor repaired as well as patching "missing" resulting from knocking down a wall, as well as have him build a threshold. He quoted $600, which was reasonable, however we decided just to go with the subfloor repair for now ($350 quote). We had scheduled the job for Tuesday 2/12/2013 at 9:30 am, and due to the blizzard that hit the previous weekend, he called to confirm that the time was still ok. On the morning of the job, he courteously called to let me know he would be about 30 min early and asked if it was an inconvenience...of course it was not! The subfloor was repaired, the old pieces of flooring were kept in good shape, but since we will be refinishing the floors, they put down new oak tongue and groove in the section where the subfloor was repaired. Robert and his crew came in and begun to work right away. They were courteous and knowledgeable, gave me suggestions and tips on how to patch the hardwood floor myself, left some of the rosin paper backing for when I did do the job, offered to answer any questions I may have when I started the DIY project, and gave me some helpful tips on how to address some small issues in the basement. This was the first experience I've had with any home improvement project where the service provider was able to keep every appointment and was proactive in all aspects of the project.
