Description of Work: We first called Kerivan-Lane for a furnace check-up. The two man team were on time and spent about a half-hour. They showed me what needed to be done (replace two valves), explained why it needed to be done, did the job in no time at all, and left before the hour was up. We then had the come for a problem with a thumping noise when the outside sprinklers were running twice a day for ten minutes on a newly seeded back yard. The young plumber knew immediately what it was: a water hammer, where the spigot valve did not close properly and made a banging sound. He then helped us drain the pipes leading to the spigot. Again, very professional and helpful

Description of Work: I used Kerivan Lane because of the AL recommendations. True to what I read, they had a really efficient and friendly service team. They were available pretty quickly, and the plumbers (I used them for three different repair items) were thorough in their explanation, and didn't mind all of my questions. They also came prepared with all the right parts and tools. If they didn't have it, they had it in their trucks, so there was no annoying delays. I wished they had a 30-min minimum instead of a full hour, but I was pleased with general price, quality of work, clean up, and the billing process. My plumbers were really knowledgable and friendly, and I'd recommend them: David Clements and Ron Ritz. Joe Forde assisted Ron, and he too was good.

Description of Work: They installed our new hybrid water heater which had been recommended during an energy audit. They came a few days before to look at this new type of water heater and get the manual, scheduled the work and at the appointed hour on the appointed day they came and did a great job. Very neat and efficient. Great to work with all of the people involved; Chris the owner, Mike in the Service Dept. and Tim the plumber as well as his helper. We switched from another oil com[any to K-L because we just didn't like the attitude on the phone at the office. K-L offered great incentives to make the switch so here we are.
