Description of Work: I called and Mike who answeredng the phone told me to look at the Delta website for kitchen faucets available and they could get them at a lower rate.. I did that and he called and both faucets had to be ordered. I had a corian sink and wanted to be sure that the faucet would fit the hole. Paul from their office came out and advised me that the faucets I had selected were not the best for my needs. He stayed with me as we looked at the Delta website and recommended another. Mike called and it too had to be special ordered. I wanted to have it asap and the manufacturer was able to do that at a reasonable charge. I have not yet gotten the bill. I was very happy with the service. It would have been better had someone come out to see the sink initially as time was wasted. Once Mike recommended that Paul come out, he came out that afternoon. I was a new customer and appreciated the service from both Paul and Mike.

Description of Work: Kerivan-Lane has been our oil supplier for about five years. When performing the annual servicing of our oil burner, the technicians have nearly always been very thorough and meticulous. We have not had any major service done (yet).

Description of Work: I called because of a backup of water in our basement, and spoke with Chris(?) Lane. After listening patiently to my problem and answering my questions, he referred me to another service for drain clearing. Very professional and courteous.

Description of Work: I asked for a quote to switch my heating system from oil to gas. One of the owners came and gave me a quote of $9200 which dit not include the furnace (to be purchased at National Grid), the chimney lining and the permits. Adding all these things, I would have paid probably aroud $14000.This quote looked outrageous to me and I called National Grid. They told me that this quote made no sence and pointed me to different contractors. I got from these companies 2 quotes between $6600 and $6700 including everything. It really looks like Kerivan-Lane, primarilyn a oil delivery company, is trying to make a last big buck out of the customers switching to gas. They won't get mine.

Description of Work: I contacted Kerivan-Lane to obtain a quote to replace my heating system that recently failed and in turn received some real cost saving tips from Christopher. I currently use oil to heat my home and I thought this was now the perfect opportunity for me to convert to gas, because it would save me a lot of money in the long run, but after listening to Chris's expert advice I am now convinced the most economical thing for me to do is replace the system with what I currently have. I was really impressed with the time he took to explained everything to me instead of trying to sell me something that I don’t need. Unfortunately, I am not going to have the opportunity to use their wonderful service for this job as they don’t do work in my area, but I would highly recommend them to someone else. Description of Work: They replaced our hot water heater last month. The service was good.

Description of Work: Called on a late Friday afternoon to to have someone fix a major leak in the large main drainpipe that runs to the sewer line. They sent someone within an hour or so who put in a temporary repair so that we could use the facilities and not need to pay extra for weekend work. He came back with another plumber on Monday AM and fixed the leak by replacing a long portion of the old cast iron pipe with PVC. The two men who did the work were very professional, fast and cleaned up after the work. The job took less time than the estimate and we were billed only for the actual time it took..

We also needed a new location on the exterior of the house for oil deliveries. Workers were professional, kind and cleaned up completely. I wish all contractors I hired worked in the same manner.
