+ 0 moreExtremely well. Very professional in his communication, very clear about different services he can provide, how his crews operate, and how different services are priced. Offers phone, email and website media for communicating with him. Also provides plenty of effective notice about scheduling adjustments around holidays, snow storms, etc. Crews are pretty prompt and friendly, leave no mess around cans.
Description of Work: Weekly trash and recycling collection and hauling of any odd-sized waste. Have been using his firm since Aug-09. $11/week or thereabouts.

Description of Work: We used his dumpster service several years ago for my mother-in-law when we were cleaning her house out inorder to sell it. We ended up needing another dumpster and within an hour or two they came again with another dumpster and removed the 1st. When the second dumpster was filled they removed it just as quickly. Very fast professional service. We have also used John's weekly trash removal for several years and have always been pleased with the service. When I have extra trash or appliances to get rid of John has always responded swiftly to get the job done. We highly recommend him and his company

+ 0 moreOverall, John is great! He is a bit pricey, but his service is good and reliable. He charges based on the number of people in your household - but there are surcharges if you put out more trash than he deems as normal.
Description of Work: I use John Timmerman's weekly trash pick-up service.

+ 0 moreThey were fabulous. The owner came around and made sure that everything was fine afterward. I had a question about the bill and they haven't pressured me at all about making a payment yet. They were very professional; they had to bring a second dumpster in to fit the larger pieces and they were able to do a remarkable amount of work in those 2 hours. They came under recommendation and I was very pleased with them. They rent dumpsters, do weekly pick-ups, and a bunch of stuff.
Description of Work: I rented a dumpster for 2 weeks from them. We did a lot of the clean up ourselves. They came and in a two hour period did a lot of heavy lifting including 2 sofas, one out of the basement and a full stove oven combination out of the basement as well. Then they hauled it all away for us.

+ -1 moreTHE GREAT THING ABOUT JOHN'S SERVICE IS THAT IT IS COMPLETELY EFFORTLESS. I HAVEN'T TALKED TO HIM SINCE MY INITIAL CONVERSATION WITH HIM BECAUSE NOTHING EVER GOES WRONG. AS OPPOSED TO OTHER PRIVATE GARBAGE COLLECTION PEOPLE, HIS CREW WILL PICK UP THE BARRELS FROM BEHIND YOUR HOUSE AND PUT THEM BACK EMPTY. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DRAG THEM TO THE CURB!! HE WILL ALSO TAKE LARGER ITEMS IF YOU CALL HIM AND LET HIM KNOW THEY ARE THERE. A GREAT GUY AND ABSOLUTELY PERFECT SERVICE.
Description of Work: PICKS UP GARBAGE AND RECYCLING EVERY WEEK FROM OUR HOUSE IN WELLESLEY.
