Great job. Picked up when they said they would, provided all services requested and delivered back to me on time

after a couple reminder calls he came out and measured, said he would follow up with a written estimate. After many calls requesting the estimate, he never returned a call or sent the estimate

Good experience .Called Charles Cleaves the day after Storm Sandy.Due to shingles being blown off we had water damage.He fixed the roof and we have not had any water leakage since.

Mr. Cleaves' work was excellent, and he was very easy to talk to about the work. His advice seemed based on a wealth of experience, and he was in no way a salesmen, nor did he try to expand the job beyond what seemed reasonable and needed. I will certainly call on Mr. Cleaves again in the future for this kind of work.

I made an appointment . He came soon and on time. He was kind and knowledgeable,...We discussed the needed work. He said he would mail me an estimate. I never heard from him again. Unfortunately this wasted my time - and his!

Everything went well. He is reasonably priced. He fixed the repair temporarily about 3 years ago and then permanently last winter. He said the temporary fix may last for a few minutes or 15 years. He was honest and up-front.

He was in and out in less than a day and the work looked clean and professional when he was done. He was very friendly and professional. Showed up when he said he would and listened to our needs and special requests. I was very pleased with the job done and how the experience of working with him went. I will certainly call him first when I have work that needs to be done.

Chuck is a remarkable carpenter! This is the third time we have used him for general remodeling and carpentry and have been very satisfied each time. Chuck is professional, courteous and knowledgeable. His quote was exactly the same as the invoice, and gave exactly what we asked for. He may take a couple days to return initial phone calls, but he always returns the call. He is very honest with regards to pricing and scheduling, and shows up when expected. He is very hard working. I will definitely hire him again.

Overall good experience. I called Chuck even a month before I wanted the work done for an estimate, he came right out and gave a fair estimate and was happy to wait until the bird nesting season was done to complete the work. I called him back when ready, he came out actually while I was away and completed the work right away and just as I had asked. No problems at all.

Best experience I've had with a home repair company. Totally professional from start to finish. Prompt and returned all calls. Also gave excellent advice on work that should be done, and told me how to do some small repairs myself and what product to use. Can not recommend highly enough!

We were having problems with our gutters leaking. Chuck Cleaves diagnosed the problem correctly and was able to come to our home promptly (the next day) and reattach the gutters. We would definitely use Chuck's service again and highly recommend him.

Gutters were backing up during heavy rains. I thought I needed a new gutter or larger downspout. Mr. Cleaves came to my house to give me an estimate. He took his ladder off his truck to check out the gutters and found a large clump of leaves blocking the downspout. He removed it and told me I owed him nothing. I insisted and he took $20.00.

Chuck was very responsive. He repaired our gutter and made suggestions for future improvements. I will definitely contact him again.

Chuck was great to deal with. He quickly came up with a better idea then I had to solve my drainage problem. He gave me 2 estimates to solve the problem. I chose one of them and the work was performed within the week. So far, so good.

Chuck Cleaves was a pleasure to deal with. He came to my house at a time that was convenient for me, diagnosed the cause of the roof leaks, and clearly explained what would be required to do proper repairs. When he and his crew came to do the job, as scheduled, they worked very efficiently and cleaned up extremely well. I would describe his price as being towards the high side of reasonable, but I certainly feel that I got quality craftsmanship and would definitely hire him again. Also note that Chuck has an answering machine in his office. While he did not necessarily return my calls the same day, he always called back within a reasonable time period.

WONDERFUL. CHUCK AND HIS EMPLOYEES (ONE TO TWO MEN DEPENDING ON THE TASK) WERE CONSIDERATE AND CAREFUL IN THEIR WORK AND WITH THE PROPERTY. CHUCK DID WHAT HE SAID HE WOULD DO, CLEANED UP EACH AFTERNOON, WAS THOROUGH AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. HE SET A PRICE BEFORE BEGINNING, AND THERE WERE NO SURPRISES. YOU WILL NEED TO LEAVE A MESSAGE, AND CHUCK WILL CALL YOU BACK. HE HAS NO SECRETARY OR OFFICE STAFF, SO BE PATIENT.
