We have used Jonasson for years with great success, but unfortunately have noticed a decline in service and responsiveness. Historically, they have been professional, punctual, and competitively priced. They replaced the valves for a couple of heating zones. The actual repair work went well, however, the valves failed (locking up) within one year of installation. Despite multiple messages and one conversation (including the opportunity for $2K+ of new work), they have not responded to any request to come by and make their own assessment of the issue. It is disappointing they do not stand behind their work.

When we talked on the phone, we agreed that they would install a 50 gal. 10 year hot water tank to replace a leaking water heater. Since I wasn't able to be there when he came and my wife doesn't speak English, I paid him in advance. Instead of putting in the agreed to tank, they put in a 5 year 40 gal and and refused to change it or refund any part of my money. Then less than a year after the installation, a valve that they installed on the water heater malfunctioned. When they came over, they told me it would cost me another $185 to change the valve again. I refused them, went to Home Depot and bought the part for $9.99 and changed it myself. THIS GUY IS A THEIF!

It went well with C H Jonassen Corp. I like the fact that he was in contact almost 24 hours a day and if he's not he can send crewmen out as quickly as possible. I have been using him since 2014. I live in an old house so I need a good plumber. I will definitely continue to use him.

They came quickly. The trap was old and was an odd size, so it they had to go to several places to find the correct replacement. Otherwise, it was a quick fix. The sink has been working fine since they repaired it.

I called because I had just bought my house and there were a few problems with the plumbing. First, the dishwasher wasn't getting any water (this problem didn't show up on the home inspection because it appeared to be working fine when there were no dishes to be cleaned). Second, there was no hot water coming through the shower (this problem started after we moved in). Third, I wanted to have the washer and dryer hook ups moved to the other side of my basement where the electrical outlet was set up. The person they sent was great. The dishwasher hose needed fixing and the shower nozzle needed a part replaced. He had all parts in his truck and fixed them immediately. After looking at the washer/dryer hooks situation, he said that it would probably be easier and more cost effective to pull the electrical than pull the plumbing. But in the meantime he helped me set up the stacked washer/dryer and hook up the vent - none of which was in his job requirements. So nice of him! The bill was very reasonable considering everything was fixed correctly and promptly. He was right about the washer/dryer situation as well. I highly recommend this company.

It's been a few years but I never forgot the feeling when the young man told me that I owed him $120 after failing to resolve any problem. I called and spoke to the owner about some water stains in my house and said that I wasn't sure if they were due to plumbing issues. I asked him if he would mind coming and checking it for me. Someone showed up, but apparently not the owner and did not know what he was doing. He could not diagnose the problem after spending 15-20 minutes at the house. I showed him a loose faucet in the bathroom - he said that's what it's supposed to be. I asked him to fix a simple lease in another bathroom sink - he spent 2 minutes twisting a screw, which did not help at all. When he was leaving, I asked him if I owed him anything. He asked for $120. I paid him but it left such a bad taste in my mouth.
