Lou, Lourdes, and Andrew were extremely thorough and a pleasure to work with for our pool tiling project. They worked hard and were dedicated to getting it exactly right.

We had an old pool on our property that had been unused and severely neglected for more than twenty years - it actually had trees growing in it. When we decided we wanted to try and salvage it, I called several pool companies before a friend recommended Louis Ranieri. The other companies never even bothered to call us back, but Lou returned my call within an hour and was at my home the following weekend to assess the job and give me a quote. Lou and Lourdes explained all our options in detail, kept us informed at every stage of the job, and promptly returned my calls. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with everything. Andrew worked from dawn to dusk to make sure everything was done right and in a timely manner. I am so glad we found Ranieri Construction and highly recommend them to anyone needing a pool renovation.

It went great. We were in good hands with the Ranieri family throughout the entire project. They are extremely reliable, diligent about keeping us informed about the process, and deeply knowledgeable about concrete deck installation and pool installation and care. Our 30+ year old 20x40 inground pool had crumbling old pavers around it and the pool plumbing needed replacing before we could put a deck in. The Ranieris were a one-stop-shop for this work. They replaced the plumbing, installed a new skimmer box, and poured a gorgeous curved edged 10' patio on one side and 4' deck around the rest of the pool. They are excellent communicators, keeping us informed all throughout the process and coordinated directly with our electrician to get the new ground wire installed and permitted before they poured. No hiccups at all with this process. This work happened this spring 2022, so there were supply and delivery issues with concrete that are outside of the contractor's control. From our perspective, the wait wasn't too bad, and the Ranieris kept us informed every step of the way. Their work is both art and science. We love what they built for us. We would hire the Ranieris for any future projects, and we highly recommend them.

We called Ranieri Construction because a combination of ground settling and a sloppy repair made our concrete pool deck not only cracked and uneven, but also unsightly. Lou Ranieri explained that they couldn’t fix the cracks as they were, but would have to remove the filler from the first repair, grind down the uneven surfaces and stain the whole surface to achieve an even color. Once the plan was in motion, Andrew Ranieri worked tirelessly to grind down and level all the surfaces – this man is a definite perfectionist and the even surface is better than we ever thought was possible. A skim coat was applied and, once hardened, the whole area was cleaned and stained. It’s beautiful! We can’t say enough about how diligent Lou and Andrew are in their, often backbreaking, work. Once completed, the work area was left spotlessly clean. This is the type of company all should strive to be – a company where work ethic, integrity and the correct way of solving a problem are paramount. Thank you, Ranieri Construction! You're the best!

They were very responsive to coming out to do an estimate. When we agreed on a price the work was scheduled within a week and the job was done on time. The quality of their work was outstanding. Some additional items came up and they were performed with no additional charges. Very happy with the outcome and will hire again for any future projects.

I reached out to Louis with a time sensitive request to take a look at a pool which was located on a property I was considering purchasing. Despite being fully booked Louis made the time to stop by the property and provide me with an honest assessment of the pool as well as items I should watch out for. It was clear from working with him that Louis has developed a deep expertise in this area due to his years of experience and will certainly look to work with him further in the future.

It was an excellent experience start to finish. Louie, Andrew, Lourdes, and the whole family were a pleasure to work with. They are true professionals who take pride in their work. They do things the right way and don't take any shortcuts. They were meticulous in their planning and explained everything along the way. There were several unexpected obstacles that came up and Louie and Andrew were able to resolve them and still finish the project two weeks ahead of schedule. Louie was always reachable and always on time, and did a fantastic job of communicating throughout the entire project. I would highly recommend Ranieri Construction to anyone looking to re-do their pool patio. They are pool experts and caught alot of things other concrete contractors wouldn't have. I am extremely pleased with the results and plan to use them again for other work in the future.

Can’t say enough about Lou and the family. True professionals and artists at what they do. We felt like they were working on their own property. They take pride in their work and the results show it. Very hard working family and we would not hesitate to hire them again. Lou’s son Andrew hard worker it’s refreshing to see how much pride he puts into his work.

Amazingly well. The garage has a low ceiling, so Lou and son had to dig out the old asphalt by hand. An enormous amount of work, and then they had to remove 12" of solid concrete that was dumped outside the garage and which would interfere with the new floor. Every part of the project was explained in detail, and Lou did a top quality job. I really appreciate a job well done, and I nobody does a job as well as Lou. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat. If you need a job done right, at a very reasonable price, call Lou!

It went very well. We discussed material and options. I am very pleased with the outcome, Louie and his family took very good care of me. They pay attention to detail. It was heartening in this day and age to find a trustworthy, skilled and good old-fashioned contractor. I honestly can't wait to hire them for the next project at my home. As a single woman, I often feel like a target. I felt protected by Ranieri Construction and the work is simply beautiful. Louie personally selected my granite and all materials.

The work was performed by Lou's son Andrew. Lou followed up with us 3 separate times to confirm the scope of the project and ensure the materials and design were accurate. Andrew is an extremely hardworker and very meticulous!!! I can't say enough about that! Andrew took his time and completed the project perfectly! At the end of each work day, he cleaned up the job site. Following the completion of our brick patio, I have gained a new found respect for the precision work that goes into building a patio. I needed my chimney rebuilt, and they did a beautiful job. Everything was clearly explained beforehand, with an eye on keeping costs under control while not compromising the necessary quality of the job. I was made aware of possible unforeseen complications that could arise once the work started, but none of these happened and there were no additions or overages to the price quoted. Once the work began they finished promptly on schedule and cleaned up as soon as possible. The owner, Loiue Ranieri, is terrific guy, friendly and easy to work with. In fact, he kindly did a couple of minor non-chimney house repairs for me at no cost. We’d been referred to Ranieri by a carpenter who’d recommended them, and we’re very glad he did. I give them my highest rating.

Could not have been better. One of the most reliable, competent, and fair contractors we have ever dealt with. The owner, Louis Ranieri, takes a personal neatest in every job he does (we have used him before with equally excellent results) and is a perfectionist.. This brick walkway was so well done that neighbors stopped to admire it and asked us for the name of the contractor. It was a pleasure to deal with them start to finish. No fights, no extra charges. That is truly rare these days

This past winter, my vinyl pool wall started to cave in, due to rusting of the support structure. I placed calls to 17 different construction & pool repair companies, and Ranieri Construction were the ONLY ones that were willing to roll up their sleeves and take on the repair job (everyone else just seemed to want to sell me an entire new pool!). Louis and his family were amazing from start to finish. They are very skilled - from excavating the old deck, ratcheting back the pool walls, and pouring the new footings & deck, they clearly knew what they were doing, and the finished product is great. Louis was very attentive to detail. They spent time with me to explain the work that needed to be done, always stayed in touch with what was going on, were very careful to respect the property and always cleaned up. Even though it wasn't in our contract, Louis even offered to fill in gaps between my pool coping and deck all the way around the pool as a preventative measure so that I wouldn't have an issue with the other pool walls in the future. In short, I couldn't be more happy with Ranieri Construction - they are a great family business, and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to use them for any new projects down the road.

Lou did a fantastic job with my pool. The job initially started out as a concrete repair job, but quickly turned into a full tear out and replace of the entire pool skirt and fill underneath it. He and his wife took the time to explain every step of the process and to go over the contract in every detail. My wife and I really appreciated their taking the time to go over everything with us and explain every cost involved in the job. Lou is very responsive and would return my calls promptly whenever I had a question. In addition, even after the job was complete Lou has called to check in on the work and make sure everything is going well with the pool. I highly recommend Lou and his family for any work you might need.

Lou and his family are exactly the type of contractor that you want to hire. They are very knowledgeable about their work, they are extremely responsive and do what they say they’re going to do. If you’re looking to hire Someone in this area, you should hire them without reservations. They are an A+ company

Louis was a breath of fresh air after working with so many terrible Pool repair companies over the years. They were prompt, courteous, and transparent throughout the whole process. I strongly recommend him and his family!

Louie, his wife Lordis and his son Andrew were all more than friendly, professional and willing to answer any questions I had. Louie takes pride in his work and his family business. He was more than happy to show me an album of his body of work. He was willing to work within my budget and was the only one to suggest the approach we took (rather than a complete overhaul of the tile and coping which would have cost anywhere from 2-3 times as much $). I wont say his price was cheap, but then if you own an in ground pool and have dealt with any major repairs to the body of the pool...you know that nothing is cheap. And frankly it's not the kind of work I think anyone should skimp on. You're paying for expertise and craftsmanship, and Louie and Andrew's work was top notch. They reset a couple coping stones that they found were loose, all without bumping the price of the job. Andrew noticed the mouth of the skimmer needed attention so he went ahead and replastered it as well, not something we had discussed. They did leave the grout line of the reset stones unfilled, but i discussed with Andrew what I could use to fill it, was a quick and easy job for me after the fact. I will not hesitate to use them again in the future should I have any need. Thanks Louie and fam!

Lou was great to work with- friendly, professional, easy-going, and most importantly, responsive. Even with me having some work travel in between when we spoke and when the work was performed and a couple communication hiccups, Lou and Andrew were friendly and professional and committed to moving forward to get the job done. They showed up when they said they would, did exactly what we agreed upon, and finished up early leaving my driveway looking great and cleaned to boot. I would definitely recommend them and plan to hire then again for any future maintenance on our concrete driveway!

Louis from Ranieri Construction evaluated the scope of the project and provided an estimate with phase by phase options depending on what was found during each phase. This included excavating the existing skimmer and pressure testing of the existing lines. Our pool is estimated to be 40 years old. Its construction is somewhat unique with a concrete bottom and fiberglass walls. Louis' careful excavation of the skimmer revealed that the fiberglass wall is fastened to rebar running along the enter outside edge of the pool. This was valuable information as if we had approached this project differently demolition of the concrete deck would likely result in the pool collapsing. Louis is excellent at explaining the details of the work and the options available. He excavated the and replaced the skimmer, cut the concrete deck to create a new trench, replaced the skimmer lines, replumbed the feed and return lines at the pump and filter and laid the new concrete in the trench. I would highly recommend Ranieri Construction.

Quality of the work was excellent. Nobody else that we contacted was even willing to quote on the work that Louie and his son did. He was very upfront about the entire process and what needed to done and why. The price never changed from the original quote. Louis was excellent with communication and was extremely thorough. We would most definitely recommend them for pool work.

Everything went very well. Lou works with his son and wife, Lourdes, to plan and install the work. This was a tricky job because of the narrow space, which was bordered by a high stone wall on one side and the house on the other. The work was done thoroughly and quickly and is of high quality. The sidewalk includes a curved edge done with a mold created by Lourdes who has a background as a material engineer! By adding a step and redesigning the placement and slope of the walkway, it's now easier to access the front door and the walkway is less icy this winter. Lou and Andrew also installed a handrail, removed a large bush that was crowding the walkway, and found and repaired a rotting porch support. In addition to doing high quality, timely work, the Ranieri's are great people and a pleasure to work with.

We already had been turned down by several contractors, who were unwilling to even attempt our repair work, when we contacted Lou. From the very beginning it was clear that we had made the right choice with Ranieri Construction. Lou and his family team were extremely knowledgeable and took great pride in their work. We were impressed with their ability to listen to what we wanted to accomplish and to tailor their work to our specific situation. I would absolutely hire this hard-working group again!!

Can I give A++ ratings? I contacted this company based on good ratings on Angie’s List and a visit to homeowners who had worked with the Ranieris. I was thrilled that they cared about the price and a superior result. They showed up, had thought out the plan well and did the work daily. They coordinated with subs. And they did all of this with good nature regardless of the heat and humidity or pop up issues. They stand by results with utmost integrity. My pool looks fabulous and we are very happy. I would hire them again always.
