Fantastic job. Tech was on time, cleaned the carpet quickly and thoroughly. The carpet looked brand new and dried by the next morning. He was even able to get some stubborn stains out. Kudos to Tilton, I will definitely use them again.

Very well. Michael showed up on time, inspected the work to be completed, and followed through at the agreed price point. It was raining the day he arrived so he put down a drop cloth to ensure he kept the house clean. Excellent service. I'd use them again and recommend Tilton to others.

Michael did a really great job cleaning the tile in our house. We have a lot of tile and the house we purchased was absolutely filthy and disgusting. His cleaning completely transformed the tile and the smell. We were so happy we had this done before moving in and will definitely be using him again for any tile or carpet cleaning. Highly recommended.

the service appointment was easy to set up. they were prompt and courteous. that said, i was totally unimpressed with the work. my couch is two years old. it didn't look so different once it dried. UPDATE - the provider followed up with service, and cleaned the couch again. the couch is so much improved. he was courteous, professional, and explained that the type of fabric contributes to the pillage on the couch and how it looks. that said, with the second cleaning, i saw a definite improvement. i give them a try again in the future.

It went extremely well and I would use him again

Everything about Tilton was professional, from the first telephone contact where they returned my call within 24 hours, to the technician who came out to clean our furniture (his name escapes me right now, but I think his name was Michael). He was professional and courteous, even happily answering questions from my 4 year old and 3 year old! We purchased a big deal that covered the sofa and loveseat, which are both around 12 years old and have only been cleaned one other time. The technician noted that he might not be able to restore them to new looking condition with the cleaning service, but proceeded to work professionally and diligently going over each piece until he was satisfied that it looked as good as he could make it look with cleaning alone. We didn't expect either piece to look like new again, but Tilton definitely exceeded our expectations and we are happy with the results. We would not hesitate to hire them again when the need arrises.

3 Persian rugs were picked up, cleaned, and returned to us within a few days. Excellent job!

We hired Tilton Cleaning to clean our carpets after we had moved out of our apartment. When we scheduled the appointment, we spoke directly to Mike Tilton, the owner. Mike explained that generally they prefer to use the van for carpet cleaning, and to run hoses into the home/apartment from the van. However, because this setup wouldn?t be possible due to the way our building was configured and the way the parking situation was, they would need to use a portable cleaner. On the day of the cleaning, there was a slight miscommunication ? the employee initially sent out didn?t realize that he would need to use a portable cleaning unit. The employee immediately got in touch with Mike, who was on another job at the time, and Mike arranged to come to our unit with the portable cleaner as soon as the job he was at was completed, and he gave us a time estimate. Mike called ahead to let us know he was on his way, and he arrived when he had estimated he would. Mike worked efficiently and was very friendly, and he did a great job cleaning our carpets. Aside from the glitch with the miscommunication over whether a portable unit was needed to clean our apartment, everything else went great. We would definitely use Mike again and recommend him to others.

Tilton Cleaning was very easy to work with. They responded immediately each time and scheduling was done quickly. They arrived on time, went over the job, started work and completed it within the time agreed to. They were very thorough and professional. The results of their work were very satisfying. They explained after looking at the carpet which areas might be a problem and then worked to fix problem areas. Tilton Cleaning will be the first one we will call next time we need carpet cleaning done.

Gentleman was very polite, professional, and thorough. Gave me his honest opinion and options for cleaning the rugs, and suggested that he clean them in-house which I didn't know was an option. He was done in only about an hour and the rugs looked great.

Very professional. A few stains could not be removed, which was disappointing. It is highly likely it was not his fault they would not come out.

Mr. Tilton call me back the same day I left a voice mail to make an appointment. He was able to schedule me in within a week. I told him I have very old house with soft pine floors and asked him to protect the floors. He came right on time and brought a large drop cloth to put under the couch and loveseat as promised. After examining the couch and loveseat he explained to me why some patterns might bleed and asked me if I still wanted to proceed. He did a thorough and professional job and he was very courteous. He treated my house as his own. When my wife returned from her work, she was very pleased with the result.

They did an excellent job with several oriental rugs. Michael was on time for the pickup despite a fairly large snow storm the day before. After the cleaning, he sent me email saying that some ink had bled from the back to the front of a couple of the rugs (he sent photos showing this) and so he was going to keep them for a while longer to de-ink them. It took a while (several weeks) which was fine; he had asked me if I wanted the other rugs back right away and I said no. He reported in several times so I knew what was up, along with giving me a bit of detail on how ink is removed. In the end, he delivered the rugs with no ink bled-through right after yet another snow storm! He was helpful and informative and I highly recommend him.

They cleaned two oriental rugs with the coupon and I paid $100 extra to have two more oriental rugs cleaned. The cleaning took a couple of weeks. He was very pleasant and the rugs were certainly clean when he brought them back!

Mike Tilton was a dream to work with. I had purchased 2 coupons from Angie's List - used one for tile and one for cleaning the oriental rug. Once we set an appointment, Mike was right on time. He was polite, thorough, and respectful. He got to work on the tile in the shower (which was a challenge). When his normal approach didn't work as well as he liked on one section of the tile, he got down on his knees and scrubbed until he got the result we wanted. Definitely went the extra mile. He cleaned the area rug in place, making sure to move furniture out of the way first. The 15-yo rug turned out looking like new, and I felt like he treated my furniture like it was his own. He took the oriental rug back to his workspace to clean. It was so much brighter when it came back! It looks great. The person delivering the rug even helped me place the rug and move the furniture back in place.
