Perfect. Came on time, worked hard at steam cleaning grout and tile. Completed restored dirty grout, after 2 years of kids, dog, wine, coffee, salsa, etc. We are having him come back this year in a few weeks!!!

The service person was on time and took care to move other furnishings out of harms way. I've never had furniture cleaned like this before but it seemed like a reasonable amount of time. The couch hadn't been cleaned in years and had some deep stains. He worked hard and tried several different methods to get as much out of the fabric as he could. The chair was purchased used and I wanted it cleaned before I used it. Overall the work was good and the clean-up was thorough.

He actually arrived an hour earlier than told to me over the phone. Thank goodness I was home. The person who did the cleaning was very professional. It took him about 2 hours to clean and apply the new stain guard to the entire couch. He had to run the tubing from the truck outside so it was good that the couch was on the first level of the house and it was warm outside so leaving the door open was ok. The cushions needed to dry for 24 hours so the hardest part was keeping the kids off of it. I had a friend come over the next day and she asked if something was different in the living room. I told her we had the couch cleaned and she said she was going to ask if we got a new couch (though she knew full well it was the same couch, just something was different!) A true testament to how well he did! The couch is 7 years old and has been through three kids and a lovable 35 lb dog who thinks all the cushions are his. So for her to think it was new tells me how dirty it really was! The stain guard has held up as long as you get the spill early. I would recommend them to anyone and use them again.

He also cleaned 2 extra rugs so I was thrilled. He didn't kind of clean up after himself like he left the rugs around but it's no big deal. The quality of the rug cleaning would be an A as well, it's just that he left some cloths around and some of the soapy stuff on the floor but it's not a big deal. It took me 5 minutes to clean up.

The technican who did the job was very polite, thorough and painstaking. He offered scotch guard, but did not push it or seem annoyed when I declined. This, along with the fact that he did a beautiful job, made me decide to use this company again in the future.

They were very good. I wanted it done within a few days of the purchase and they came out very quickly.

Unlike a lot of providers he was willing to clean my wool rugs and do hallways and stairways for the same price. He did an excellent job and I would highly recommend their service!

Upon request to quote the job, Mike came in to tour our school building and measure carpeted areas. Quote was provided that evening. Upon being awarded the quote, Mike scheduled the job. First day of job, Mike arrived on time, professional appearance and introduced his other worker, Matt. Mike and Matt worked diligently for two days. Many of the rugs were stained from a year of abuse (being in a school building), with the carpeted cafeteria space in the worst shape. Matt and Mike took extra care with the cafeteria and the preschool class and the results were outstanding. We have had many companies in through the years to provide carpet cleaning services before the start of school and from start to finish Mike and Matt did an excellent job and provided the best service.

Matt was punctual and professional. He explained what he would do beforehand and minimized the foot traffic through other parts of the house that were not being cleaned. He was knowledgeable, fast, and diligent, not wasting time. I am very happy with Tilton Cleaning and would recommend their service.

Michael was prompt and friendly from he start. The rugs were picked up and returned in about 2 weeks with no drama. He made it easy.

I had a big deal from Angie's List. They were great. I would use them again even for full price.

They could not do the work,I live in an older home, and in this bathroom we have older tile which may be the original tile in the home. The grout lines are very small, and they clean larger grout lines. They said the cleaning process they use wouldn't make any difference, and they wouldn't see it improving. He was very honest, which I appreciate.

Wow. The buffer-like machine they used on my tile literally erased the dirt in the grout and now it looks white again. Very professional and responsive. Highly recommended.

I was initially disappointed to discover that the price I paid for an 8 x 10 rug cleaning deal was $60 higher than a recently-ended Angies List promotion. Michael Tilton made up for it by telling us that the odor in the wool rug we wanted cleaned could never be removed. His honesty avoided us having a rug cleaned that simply could not be really cleaned because of the type of backing used. Not everyone can smell it, but We can. So we had another rug cleaned and are happy with the results. Michael was helpful and very knowledgable.

He was on time. He was courteous. I was cleaning the area up and clearing furniture before he came. I didn't realize I had 2 baseball caps on my head and he didn't even flinch. He told me later he didn't want to embarrass me and he thought I was a really big boston sports fan. He warned me that he might not get all the tougher spots out but would do his best. He even moved the fridge. I would definitely use them again.

Everything went well. They did a good job, and the grout ended up looking like new.

He was very prompt, right on time at 8 AM, and went right to work. I stayed home while he was working, but stayed out of his way. Both pieces of furniture were some years old and had significant staining (pet food and pet stains, mostly). He spent over 90 minutes on both pieces (total) and was not able to remove everything. I didn't really think he would, some of it was pretty bad. However, they do look much better now and I'm perfectly satisfied; he did as good a job as I could expect. At least now I can have guests use the sofa without me blanching. I would certainly use him again, though I hope not to need to!

There was significant buckling of the wall to wall carpeting on my upper level. I had the worker call the owner to see what could be done. He was very responsive and assured me that most, if not all, of this would disappear as the carpeting dried and instructed the worker to leave a heavy duty fan to hasten the drying. Indeed, most of the buckling disappeared - not all. The owner came to inspect the job and pick up the fan. He explained that, since we know the carpeting is at least 9-10 years old, the age may have been a factor. So, while I am disappointed that I have some buckling left, it's acceptable, and probably not the fault of the company. The carpets are as clean as I've seen them and the worker was on time, polite and helpful. I would recommend Tilton to others with the proviso that wall to wall may buckle and not all the buckling may disappear. I must say that the Angie's List first time customer 20% discount was welcome!

I purchased a $99 "Big Deal" for 250 square feet of grout cleaning by Tilton Cleaning, as my light colored grout on the tile floor in the kitchen, bathroom, and foyer needed a good cleaning. Mike was very professional and great to work with. Scheduling was easy and he arrived at the agreed upon time. I wasn't sure if I had 250 sq feet or more, but he measured the area before he began (turns out I had more!) and told me what the additional costs would be. He went over every inch of the floor--didn't miss a spot--and the grout in the kitchen and bathroom looked great. We apparently have a cement type of grout in the foyer, and it just wasn't coming clean despite Mike's best efforts (and he spent a lot of time on it!). In the end, he told me there would be no charge for that area. I was really impressed with that. The work was done over a year ago, but I realized I forgot to write the review as I am looking at my grout (and couches) due for another cleaning,and I need to give Mike a call!
