He was amazing - quick to respond on a Sunday no less, came on Christmas Eve, got the part, fixed it, stayed to be sure it worked - saved the day!

I called Speedy's Appliance Service on Wednesday, 5/23 as my dryer had died and Ishmael was nice enough to come out the very next day. Unfortunately it was the timer and he did not have that model in stock and had to order it. Unbelievably he got the part on Memorial Day and called to see if he could come out to fix my dryer that same day. I have been ill and taking my wet laundry to the laundromat was very hard so I was so very appreciative of Ishmael's willingness to fix my dryer on Memorial Day. Ishmael is the nicest repair person I have ever met and goes above and beyond to help you. He did not even charge me extra being it was a holiday. He is very smart as it did not take him long to figure out what was wrong with the dryer and order the part and I am so grateful to him for going out of his way to help me. I recommend him highly to anyone who needs appliance repairs. I will definitely call him if I ever have a problem with any of my appliances in the future.

Arrived on time, diagnosed and fixed the problem, and also cleaned out dryer, patched up the exhaust duct, and replaced an aging belt. Very nice and helpful.

As soon as he arrived, he said I was fortunate to have a 13-year front end washing machine that still worked! He said was the most probable cause was the pump, which he removed and cleaned. However, it was not the cause. He said it was possible the motor control timer was at fault, which was in the back of the washer. He dismantled the back, and examined the motor controller - noticing that there was a broken connection on the circuit board. Ish soldered the connection, and the washing machine worked. Ish explained what he was doing, and clearly knew what he was doing. I will call him if I have problems with any other appliances.

We went on Angie's list to find an appliance repairman. We found "Speedy's Appliance Service." The owner, Ishmael, is a repairman like no other! He worked on our dishwasher for 1 hr and 15 minutes. After he finished, Ishmael gave us some tips for fixing the problem ourselves in the future, and he told us how to "McGiver" repairs on other recurrent problems. He also showed us how to find more economical parts than Sears. When we were about to write a check, he refused our payment. First, we are to use the dishwasher and make sure it is working, in which case we are to call him and he will send us a bill for a reasonable $79. If it's still not working, NO CHARGE! Really??? We've never heard of a repairman who takes responsibility for actually repairing the appliance. No question! Ishmael is our go-to guy for future repairs! In addition, he is friendly, soft spoken, intelligent and a total gentleman. I am gushing over Ishmael because we have had such bad experiences in the past with appliance repairs. And the dishwasher is working great now!

Ishmael called me back the same day I left a message for him. He offered to come by to look at the dryer that day (so fast!). He went through diagnosing the problem with me and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He found the issue was in the timer (quite rare compared to most common problems), and even took it apart to look at it if it was possible to be fixed. Turned out to just be a little loose and he was able to fix the connections inside. Very satisfied customer here!

It went really well. He called me back promptly, showed up on time, and got my oven working again by replacing a faulty igniter.

Just the nicest guy who could have charged me, but did not since the visit was so short. Ismael is just amazing! He is so sweet, beyond nice, generous, professional and competent!

We called in the morning and he was here that afternoon at the mutually agreed time. He was unable to fix the problem and thus charged nothing for the visit. Nonetheless, he gave us ideas for who to contact and even a possible fix we could try ourselves. We will definitely call him again if/when we have another broken appliance. His honesty and business ethic during this situation have made it clear that he is very trustworthy.

I found a washer for sale on craigslist and called the number. After speaking with Ismael, I scheduled a service call for my trusty 20 year old Whirlpool. The agitator stopped working. Ismael indicated that it could be the coupler or the clutch. It turned out to be the coupler. He repaired it, checked out the pump unit and ran a wash cycle...all worked as it should. He also gave me tips and a brief lesson on cleaning the dryer filter compartment. Ismael came on time and was all done in an hour. I would recommend him and call him back if I have additional issues with an appliance.

He was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. More than reasonable price and service, generous warranty in his refurbished appliances. Ish is a good guy and plan on using him for any other appliance I need repaired.

He was professional and helpful. He did exactly as he promised to do. We found him thru Craig's List. He was able to accommodate our need for a reasonable used dryer that seems to work well and he arrived earlier that expected. It worked out well for us and he did not complain as he had to wait for us. I will ask him to help us in the future as he is capable of repairing appliances. He was very pleasant and thorough.

I called Speedy's on a Wednesday morning and Ish called me back within a few hours. i described what was going on and over the phone he advised me that this was a repair worth doing. He described what he would be doing and gave me an estimate which turned out to be totally accurate. He fixed the machine that Friday, arriving promptly, was very friendly and informative. At the time he also noticed that there were some other hoses that needed replacing and we set up another date for him to come in and do that. Again, he arrived on time and performed this repair for a nominal fee. What I especially liked about this service is that they are not quick to tell you to buy a new appliance. I really believe in repairing tried and true appliances rather than having them end up in the landfill.
