Description of Work: Shawn has been mowing our lawn for years now. We "grabbed" him when we saw him doing our neighbors and he came right over and then handed us a receipt we could pay later. I stuck the receipt in a drawer and forgot about it for some time and when I called to apologize, he was most courteous and understanding. No late fee, no hassle. There are some things I've asked Shawn to do and he hasn' t been able to accommodate me, but I've always appreciated his honesty and his ability to acknowledge his limitations. The huge hedge and tree limbs he said required a tree specialist, and I am glad he didn't just "yes" to get extra money and then do a poor job. He does the lawn and his prices are fairly competitive. He also does Spring and Fall cleanups for us which are huge. I probably might choose someone else if I were to do a large actual landscaping project, but Shawn is great for maintaining what we have. And I've never actually asked him about landscaping per se, so maybe he does that too? Most times Shawn is on the job with his crew. I like that-a working owner. And as a pet owner Shawn and his crew were always conscientious of gates being kept closed an such. We have done business with Shawn for about 5 years now and will continue to do so.

+ -1 moreThis guy is a nightmare. His price is cheap, beware. First he damaged most of our in-ground sprinkler heads and then he sues us for non-payment after we sent him a letter stating that he would not receive remaining monies due as a result of damage unless they were fixed. Then he calls the cops to show up in the middle of the night.
