I had four different plumbers come out and recommend so many different things to do. Some even cost over $1000. This guy came out and told me that he could fix it in 20 minutes. He told me that my water heater was installed wrong and was able to get me hot water right away. He was fast, clean, knowledgeable, and efficient. I am very happy with his service.

We had a water filter in the basement that filtered water for our kitchen. When I replaced the filter the housing broke and I had to turn the water off to the kitchen. We were having guests over that evening and desperately needed water in the kitchen. I went through the list of plumbers I found on Angie's and Mike Coughlin was the only one who would come by on such short notice. He was very responsive, very professional, and priced fairly. I'll definitely use him again.

It was very clean, professional. They did a good job. They were timely. I just thought they were expensive, so I would not use them again. He was recommended by a contractor, who put in our new boiler.

The plumber did not show up for his appointment to give an estimate, nor did he call to explain what happened. Just no-showed, with no explanation, evidently with no sense of responsibility to the person waiting for him who arranged their afternoon accordingly.

Over Thanksgiving weekend, we had more people in the house and the mixing valve in a 2nd floor shower started leaking. Probably 40-50 yrs old. Woke up and found water dripping down on the first floor overnight. Turned off the house water main to stop it. Michael came out -on the weekend- within a couple hours and capped off the shower so we could turn the water main back on. Yay! Then he came back mid week to replace the mixing valve and make the shower usable. We patched up the tile and he came back a 3rd time to complete the assembly. Probably could have done that ourselves.

Michael Coughlin is a true professional and I would recommend him to anyone without reservation. He quickly identified and fixed the problems, even making an extra trip to get a part that he didn't have with him. We are so pleased to have found such a terrific plumber in the area!

He responded within an acceptable time frame. Had the materials on hand to do the replacement. I have used Michael Coughlin's services many times over the years. He is very quick to respond to service requests and has promptly addressed any followup issues.

It went great working with him. He was very punctual when coming to do the work and did a good job doing the work. We will use him again in the future. The bill was very clear on what we were paying for.

MIKE IS FRIENDLY, COMPETENT, AND HONEST. HE'S ONE OF THE FEW WHO CAN WORK ON STEAM HEAT THESE DAYS. HE DOES GENERAL PLUMBING WORK FOR US TOO. DID I MENTION HE WAS HONEST? HE'S A ONE-MAN SHOP, BUT GOOD TO HAVE IN YOUR CORNER WHEN YOU HAVE A PROBLEM. HE SUBBED OUT THE BOILER REMOVAL AND ADDITIONAL ASBESTOS REMOVAL WORK. OTHERS WHO GAVE US ESTIMATES WEREN'T GOING TO DEAL WITH THE ASBESTOS APPROPRIATELY.
