Description of Work: Major clear-out of overgrown weeds all around our property that they had done for us a year ago (we had used an Angie's List Big Deal). Because they did such a great job last year, we asked them again, and they did not disappoint! Same responsiveness (using texting, which is so easy for scheduling!), willingness to come out to do an estimate (was more reasonable than 2 other non-Angie's list providers), scheduled us in, came with crew of 4, listened to special concerns about weeding around some barely surviving perennials and ground cover, were willing to do some necessary pulling weeds by hand (invasives that can't be just cut back), cut down huge amounts of weeds taking over a very tricky, steep side slope, worked efficiently and fast, cleaned up well (including parking area and sidewalks, whole crew kept working until entire area was cleared out----fast but taking care!

 + 0 moreThe work was performed above my expectations. I called Jorge on Saturday and he came out that afternoon. I told him what I wanted done and he gave me a quote within the hour. He came three days later on Tuesday and performed the work. I came home from work to find everything that I had asked to be done was performed perfectly and he even did a few extra clean up projects. I'm extremely happy with the work that was performed.
Description of Work: Extensive weeding of all my garden beds that were very overgrown and edged them. Cut down a small/medium sized tree and trimmed other tree branches overhanging my garage. Hauled away all tree and yard waste.

 + 1 moreAs usual, Jorge is very responsive to texts and came by to give an estimate pretty promptly. After agreeing on the job, there was an loss of communication so when I re-texted him a week or so later, he immediately responded and did the job. Quality of work was very good. Price is competitive although they did not accept the 10% off coupon found on Angie's List (coupon states it can be used for "any landscaping job").

 + -1 moreAfter completing the purchase they kept putting off scheduling for >2 months. Said they would come, but then wouldn't. When I contacted them, always had an excuse. Never contacted me, I always had to call them. Very Frustrating. I was never able to get them to come. Will never try to use them again.

Description of Work: I bought an Angie's List deal for yard clean-up. Jorge came to the house and told me that they will come and clean up the leaves at the end of November. They didn't show up at the end of November. I called a few times until now (December 20th), still they didn't show up. My yard is a big mess now with the snow and the leaves. No work is done.

I had an over abundance of leaves blown over from the town park, and J&E cleaned-up every single leaf. But because the town has not cleaned up the park leaves that have fallen, I need to have J&E Landscaping come out one more time, before the snow falls. Thank you for great service Mr. Garcia.

I emailed, called, text and was promised multiple times by Jorge that work would be done and then no one showed up nor communicated they would not be coming. After repeatedly asking for 1 1/2 months for clarity on whether this job could be completed before winter and being told it would (but then no follow up or further communication even when I again would reach out)... it is now 12/3 and I was just told today (after again reaching out) that they are "too busy to do my job". I am frustrated as due to being late in season it is not likely I will be able to find someone else to do job at price offered. I just reached out to Angie's list to secure a refund.
