Culligan Water Filtration MA

In the Fall of 2014, I had Culligan come out to service their existing water softner and conditioning systmem in our newly purchased home. We had brown water in an upstairs tap, brown stains throughout the house and undrinkable tap water. The technician was a pleasant and very nice young man but he could not find anything wrong with system. The problem being he did not check the equipment, he simply checked records and found our unit was just serviced in the summer so I was assured everything was fine. I could however buy a Culligan R/O system to get better water quality. He did cover the required service fee of his visit by selling me some salt and upped the frequency our water softner regenerated (used more salt). Here's the deal, someone from Culligan was here in the summer and in the fall and there is still a problem with a dingy clothes from the wash and funny taste in the water. I had a well company check my water and found the quality horrible. I need to have a major job of replacing all the media in my culligan system to fix the problem. However, while this work can be done the Culligan parts can only be purchased at high cost from Culligan dealers and you must work with the Culligan dealer assigned to you. I called Culligan back to get a quote and they were rude and sarcastic when I told them what the well & water company had found. So, they couldn't find the problem and didn't like it when someone else could. I called Culligan Corporate and found they were not able to find me a Culligan group I could work with even thought there is another Culligan dealer a few extra miles away. I am probably going to have a new system installed in the house at a huge cost because the quality of my family's water is too important to trust to Culligan.
