BR Tree Service

We are very disappointed with the quality of work performed. Huge logs were dropped on the lawn creating a deep gouge and deep tire marks from the claw truck. Logs were left on the lawn for a week calling it standard industry practice! I spent a significant time picking up after them raking leaf and branches, and have to hire lawn professional to fix more issues. Also received a nasty phone call from owner. I have hired two tree professionals before and their work was immaculate. Go with Stumpy’s in Ashland. I will never hire BR Tree Service again nor recommend.

had hard time to communicate after purchasing service through angie's list but when they were here, everything went smooth. very professional.

I purchased a big deal at $199 for $400 worth of service. The company responded immediately but due to my schedule and theirs, it took several months to find a mutually convenient date for my work. A very knowledgeable tree professional came to remove a low-hanging maple tree limb and help me figure out how to remove the rest of a deteriorating tree stump. When he had completed those tasks I asked if it was possible to remove another, larger limb from another one of my trees growing horizontally over my neighbor's back yard. He assessed the situation and did a skillful job of removing that very large limb. All the debris was removed and in less than two hours everything was completed. The question of cost came up when the tree technician reported back and the owned called me to discuss a further charge. We came to an understanding about the complexity of removing the extra limb and I agreed to pay another $100 to cover some of the cost of cutting and removing it. I was very satisfied with the quality of work that was done. I appreciated the skill and knowledge of the tree professional, and the final price was quite reasonable. The only real difficulty with the transaction was the problem I had contacting the office personnel to arrange a time for the owner to assess the work to be done. My availability for phone calls during the work day is erratic, so there were several weeks of telephone tag, and some miscommunication before we finally settled on an arrangement. I would definitely use BR Tree Service again, but not unless we can schedule an assessment in advance so we were both clear on the work to be done and the estimated cost..

All went very well. I called for an appointment on Monday May 18 and they came and did the work on May 20. Fabian, the tree cutter, arrived a few minutes late, but he was traveling from Natick to Somerville at rush hour so that was understandable. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and friendly. I told him what I needed to be done, he said "No problem!", and I left to go to a class. When I returned, all the work was done and the yard and driveway were cleaned of debris. There was no damage to my garden or yard. I got my money's worth!

I purchased an Angie's List Big deal from BR Tree service, the company contacted me very quickly after purchasing the deal and was in contact to discuss work for about a week. They sent over an initial estimate for work on 3 trees. I asked for a more detailed breakdown and some clarification on what was recommended as the estimate through email did not have much by way of details. After this point there was no more contact from BR Tree Service after for over 2 months after multiple calls and emails asking for updates or any sort of contact back.

Bernie and his team were here promptly in the morning. They removed all the trees and all the debris. When they were in the bucket they even removed a large dead handing branch from another tree. The stumps were left very low, which is what I had requested. They did very good pruning, taking the right branches and leaving the collars so the tree would heal properly. The price was more than fair, the work was excellent. I would definitely call them again!!!!!!

I am canceling the work due to lack of response from the tree service.

I met with Bernie yesterday and by the time he left, we were up to $880 for the deal. I just wanted branches removed and he wanted to remove trees and suggested a lot of extra work that I did not request. Things were not adding up to me and I decided that I did not want to pursue the deal.

They were professional when they arrived. When we needed a quote they were extremely reasonable. They saved us a lot of money over other quotes we received from other services.

Arrived when they said they would. Did what they said they would.
