I had a great experience with Ben's construction. The deck came out excellent and exactly as I had suggested the design should be (herringbone pattern). We used Trex Transcend. Ben was patient with my change requests and delivered on time. Ben took care of all permits needed and worked with the inspector to keep the project moving. I would definitely hire Ben for all kinds of home improvement construction projects.

Ben has a very good team of carpenters, electricians, and painters who all worked on a significant renovation on the main floor of our home. Small things came up during the work (which is bound to happen with any significant job) but what I liked about Ben is how he addressed them all in a prompt and friendly manner. The final result was definitely to our satisfaction and the painters were especially meticulous. Additionally the small details such as moving a light fixture, vent, and drain-spout were completed as discussed earlier in the job.

I purchased the services, roof tune-up, from Ben's Construction through Angie's List. After purchasing the services, I attempted to establish a date when the services could be performed. It took a couple of weeks before Ben responded. Apparently, Ben had stopped performing the services and did not realize that the offered services were still being listed. He apologized for the inconvenience and agreed to perform the services. We established some possible dates and Ben came out and performed the services.

It went better than expected. Ben's team were prompt, they completed the work on time. The stairs are beautiful. In addition, Ben estimated that he'd have to replace the cedar posts. Once he had taken the original stairs apart, he discovered that the posts were still in good shape; he didn't need to replace them. Ben adjusted our final invoice, reducing it by cost of the labor and materials of new posts.

Benjamin's Roofing and Construction is a total gem!!! Benjamin and his crew were a dream to work with. We were working on a tight time schedule (the house had to be ready for a wedding) and they made it happen. In the final push to finish, there were 10 people working on our house to make sure it was finished. Benjamin is SO knowledgable and committed to doing the job right--no corners cut. It's clear he loves his work and takes great pride in what his does and having satisfied customers. I felt involved and informed every step of the way, and he was always open to questions. His crew is very pleasant and hard working, and the crew chief consulted me often. It was clear the crew also wanted me to be happy with every step of the process. Everything was cleaned up every evening. They also did little extras for me so that when my guests arrived, the house was 100% perfect! They really did go above and beyond for me. I can't imagine having as much work done and being SO incredibly pleased with the process and the result. I'm recommending him to all my neighbors. Anyone looking for quality home construction (and being taken care of in the process) should contact him. Very, very, very pleased!!!! PS: Benjamin takes care of his crew, and it shows in their dedication to him.

Ben helped me with choosing the color and type of shingle to use in advance of the job. This was very helpful. The crew was prompt and did an excellent job, and the work was completed in one day. The crew also made sure that the yard was free of nails and debris. The owner was on the job site, and he made sure I was satisfied with the work completed. He also came by the next morning to make sure the yard was clean and free of any nails/debris. The crew was a hard working team, and I highly recommend Ben. I give them 5 stars!

Always has gone well, every job & every time

It went excellent. Ben's crew were very professional and did quality work. They arrived to start work by 7:30 AM every morning went it was not raining and often worked until 6:30 PM. They cleaned the site every day before leaving. We appreciated the communications with the foreman Nelson and the attention to detail of the entire crew.

Fine. I was installing solar panels on my house. The house had a old roof and very shortly before the install the company advised me that while they would install the panels on the existing roof, they strongly advised a new roof be installed. I could not really delay the install because of expiring credits. Ben reroofed the house on very short notice (a few days), helping me out in a jam. His crew did a good job and cleaned up very nicely.

Benjamin and his team did an excellent job of repairing everything that needed to be done, and we're very happy with their work. He creatively figured out how to resolve an issue we had with a gutter, which has completely fixed the problem we were having with it. They are very hard workers who were also very neat, tidy, and professional. They also repaired a couple of things not originally on the list of items to be done and did not charge us for the extra work. In the end when I had some questions on the bill, Benjamin handled it all very courteously and reasonably. I have already enthusiastically referred him to a few friends. We were extremely happy with the entire experience and hope to have him and his team come back in the spring to finish other projects we have. Thanks, Benjamin!

It was great. Ben's crew was there on time on the days they said they would come. They cleaned everything so well you would never know they were there. We had the work completed last fall, and every time it rained I would run out to the sun room to see if there was a leak. Not a drop. Would recommend Ben for everything.

Went very well. His crew took there time and were very professional. He beefed up the structural framing to above code. One board had to be changed and they did it without a fuss even though it put them behind schedule because they could not finish the railing until the board was ordered. Ben also agreed to a minor design change in the railing after it was completely installed. The finishing work was very well done as well as the clean up. I would most definitely use Ben again.

Ben's crew was there to do the right things and they were very efficient in getting things done on time. I was always hesitant to give out large job especially the dollar amount involved in this project. Ben was always professional and keep me update with the current situation of the job. Sometimes he does a lot of the things above and beyond. Therefore, i highly recommend anyone who needs a roof job to consider Ben and his crew.

Ben is very professional and his crew was exceptional. The attention to detail, cleanliness and craftsmanship was evident throughout the entire process. Even though Ben's construction was over 70 miles from my home, they were on time every day and quietly began work promptly. Ben was referred to me from a friend who is a commercial roofing supervisor. I had received quotes from three other very reputable roofing companies ( with A+ rating on angies list) and it was evident through each proposal that Ben was the clear choice. The pricing was exceptional and the additional work was greatly appreciated. I know Ben's company does more than roofs and I will be using them to replace my siding in the next few years with Hardy siding. The upkeep on my 30 year old, 2500 sq foot home is tremendous and after this winter I now see the extensive damage it caused to the siding. But budget only afforded me to do the roof at this time. My neighbor had his roof done a week before and all we heard was yelling, loud music and loud trucks parked all over the street. Ben and his crew arrived in one vehicle, parked in my driveway and other than the sound of the nail guns and ladder movements it was quite peaceful. They cleaned up at the end of each day and gave me a progress report. They actually came back on a saturday just to do the final walk thru and clean up with a magnetic roller. Yes i still find an occasional nail in my flower beds but that is to be expected. The roof is a huge improvement asthetically to the home, and it is reassuring that the extended warranty through GAF, by using their products and that Ben's Construction is a Master Certified Installer, puts my mind at ease. I can't be happier with the work or the company. Thank you Ben and Crew for a Job Well Done!!!!!

I can't say enough good things about the team. They showed up first thing everyday, cleaned up every evening and made sure everything was done right the first time. I have referred them to all my friends and family who need work done.

Ben provided excellent advice and support. Reflashed an old chimney and reprinted brickwork. Very professional, quick turnaround and would definitely hire again.

We hired Ben's Construction firstly to install shingle roof on our business. Since it is a mexican restaurant we wanted colors that were vibrant to represent the culture. We had a variety of colors and styles to choose from. Then we hired them to install the Siding. we replaced the decades old vinyl siding for James Hardie Fiber Cement Siding. We were impressed by the quality of work and the professionalism. Ben is a preferred contractor for James Hardie. We also had a variety of styles, colors and choices and through the building process, James Hardie representatives stopped by to make sure the product was installed properly and they talked about Ben being highly qualified. We were having lots of problems with our basement. It was always flooding and very moldy. Ben built a french drain, installed sump pumps, made ceiling higher and poured new cement flooring. We are extremely happy. Our basement is dry and we have lots of storage. We are currently planning on building an addition to our home and installing new Siding. Ben is currently working together with an engineer and an architect to get all required permits. We are extremely happy with all the work and will continue to use Ben's Construction for all our Construction needs!

By the end of Ben’s portion of our project (3 solid weeks of the crew’s work at our home), we were not only completely satisfied with the quality of Ben’s work for us, but we were also very impressed by his ability to creatively troubleshoot issues that came up, his thorough attention to detail and appearance, his genuine concern about water issues related to wood rot and basement leaks, and his commitment to having the crew do an amazingly thorough clean-up job at the end of EACH work day. In all, Ben was truly the most pleasant service person we have hired and worked with over the past several years – and for these reasons, we found ourselves raving about Ben and the crew – to both friends and neighbors. Ben is also trained and certified as a James Hardie Plank installer. In talking with other homeowners about this siding product (and in reading reviews and experiences on the web), we learned that it is critical to have someone who has solid expertise in Hardie siding installation – so that the warranty for this product is validated by the company. In our case, Ben arranged to have the regional Hardie rep come to view our site at the outset of the project as well as after the project work was completed – after which we received an inspection and approved warranty paperwork from the company. This ensured that any issues we have with the product going forward over the years will now be honored by the Hardie company. To sum things up, here are some of the ways in which we were impressed by working with Ben and his crew – and why we would recommend this company for any renovation (and presumably roofing work) in one’s home: · Ben was helpful and infinitely patient in helping us decide on color, plank width, details of trim, etc. Once we had narrowed down a couple of options, he ordered material and constructed some large sample boards that we were able to nail up on the outside of our house to view at different times of day and under different sun and shade conditions. · Schedule was extremely precise. The crew generally came when they said they would and took as long to do the work as they said they would. · Communications were the best we’ve seen: Ben or others on his crew would respond promptly to phone, email, and texts – and would call us if there were questions or any kinds of minor changes or morning delays. · Clean-up EVERY day was absolutely amazing. When the crew went home for the day, there wasn’t any debris or nails or even dust where they had been. Ben told us that he knows this is important to most homeowners, and so he has trained his crew accordingly. Still, we were truly amazed. · The quality of the work was fabulous. Both big and small items were done with precision, no skimping on details, correcting flaws when found, and making suggestions on details to improve both look and function. We ended up having Ben and the crew do several tasks that hadn’t been planned and which, frankly, we had all but given up on doing. For example, we have lived with an old and wobbly wrought-iron railing for our front steps that Ben’s crew was able to weld and re-set firmly within a couple of hours. · Everyone worked hard, was polite, and careful. · Finally, last but not least, Ben’s price was very reasonable. We would not hesitate to hire Ben’s Construction for any future renovation or repair project for one’s home.
