Love-N-Care Landscaping

I initially hired them to do spring clean up and lawn service. They were horrible. I had to fire them. They don't listen and it cost me hundreds of $$ to hire someone to come behind them an finish the initial job. They hacked some shrubs, cut ones that were not supposed to be cut and did an overall poor job. When I asked them about it they could care less. 
On the lawn service, I told them not to start, but they mowed anyway. I told them to leave the lawn longer, but they just cut it at the lowest setting. They don't listen.
Lastly, on the billing, this was the worst. . . First, they changed the price by adding a "fuel surcharge" that was nowhere on the quote. Then when I sent them a check for the spring cleanup they said they didn't get it. I asked them to send me a simple letter or email saying that if they found the original, they would return or destroy it. It took 5 emails to try to get that from them and they never did send it. They did, however, claim I didn't pay for the two lawn services (before I cancelled them), until I sent them a copy of the check cashed by them. I finally sent them a note with a replacement check for the lawn service because I wanted to do the right thing, with a note indicating it was a replacement. This was in July. Two months later, they send me another email saying they never got the check. Once again, I checked with the bank only to find out that they cashed the check in July.
They are completely unprofessional and I wouldn't hire them again for anything. I was going to let it go until this last bit of unprofessionalism. I frankly, couldn't believe it.
Consider anyone who sees this warned. . .
