It was absolutely perfect. Dave has done quite a bit of work for us in the past. This time, as usual, he called us back quickly, came over and did the work. The work is well-done; truth be told, the place is probably cleaner than when he started. He is a very pleasant person and it is just great having him do work for us.

I thought that the price was a little high, but I hadn't hired a plumber in a while. He was extremely punctual. He got back to me right away after I left a message. He came out the next day. He was very professional. The work was done quickly and was happy to get those two things taken care of.

Timely, took time to explain situation and benefits of new faucet. Went to crawl space to fix valve. Checked shower valve. Checked for any leaks. Even fixed screen door. Excellent service.

The area he worked in was spotless afterward, he got rid of the old water heater, and then took a look through the cottage for any other plumbing issues and dealt with them. He was great! The water heater works perfectly, and Dave was responisve to all my questions and concerns. He is a great plumber and a fine professional. This was not my first experience with Dave Power's work. He always does a great job; I will use his services again and I can highly recommend him and his work to others.

They came and said they'd do one thing, that I needed x, but then did y. The price when the bill came was EXCESSIVE (other plumbers have confirmed that - it wasn't just my impression as a layperson.) And I felt David Power's tone and behavior was disrespectful and sexist.

We have had Dave Powers in to do work for us a few times. The first was for a Sink installation in our kitchen and he did a superb job, going far beyond expectations to make sure the job was done right. He has been in since then to do a repair to our upstairs toilet and also to replace a water heater in our basement after flooding destroyed the old one. Dave IS our plumber, I can't foresee us hiring anyone else to do our jobs unless he leaves the business. His prices are always reasonable, he is very responsive to phone calls, the water heater replacement job was done in in a very short period of time (we called him Friday evening around 7, he had the new one installed on Saturday by noon). Great Job, keep up the good work Dave!

They were wonderfully responsive and I was grateful that they were able to work with my schedule and come out the next afternoon when I was off work for the day. The plumber who came out was helpful, and I appreciated the follow-up call to see how we felt about the service. I will admit to sticker shcok at the bill for just over an hour of work, but I think that's just how this works.

He was very knowledgeable and friendly. After performing the fix we went through the rest of the plumbing in the basement and he identified several problems. I've since hired him again to fix one of them, and I remain pleased. The price above reflects his rate for emergency/weekend rates.

I really like Dave Power with Power Plumbing. We had just moved in and our thermostats weren't working. Our son's room was freezing. All of Dave's technicians were busy. When he found out we had an infant, he personally came out the next hour during his lunch break to help us. He was so sweet and so great. He took such good care of us. Everything has been working great sense. Dave is fantastic. You could tell he was a family man. He identified and fixed the problem same day. He obviously knows what he is doing. He is a professional. He put us in his schedule and fixed it same day. We are definitely satisfied and he will be our go-to guy if other issues arise. The pricing was appropriate and reasonable. He was prepared for the job and had everything with him to fix it on the spot.

They were prompt and industrious and worked cooperatively with my contractor. They were fun to talk to about the job and were willing to give advice and suggestions. Charged for the job, not hourly.

Dave was very professional and showed up when he said he would. He didn't promise anything that he didn't complete fully and finished the job with his crew quickly considering the amount of work that needed to be done. I would have given him an "A" for price except plumbing is just expensive in general. I would recommend his work to anyone. Thanks Dave!

He was here within an hour and had the job done in couple of hours. He couldn't have been nicer and he did a nice job, but we were taken aback by the price! They said that it would have been $100 less if it had not been a Saturday, which still seems like a high price. I would get an estimate over the phone next time before deciding to use them.

I feel that he doesn't overcharge and he does a good job. He's close to my area, so he's able to fit me in on the same day, in most cases. He's easy to work with and I've been very pleased.

They are great. They are very punctual and professional. They are respectful and take care to clean up after themselves. They are pretty expensive but they do great work.

I called Power Plumbing because they were local. Dave got back to me right away. Nice guy, he came over, was on time and took a look at all the upstairs and downstairs. Some of the stuff we weren't sure if we should bother to remove or leave there, because technically nothing was "wrong," some stuff just was not up to current building codes. Dave took the time to do the research, talk to inspectors and followed back up with a price. I didn't wind up using Dave, because another highly rated plumber on Angie's List came in with a different idea, which wound up being a lower price for this particular job, but I wouldn't hesitate to call him again and will when it comes time to think about putting in a gas furnace - or if we have other plumbing issues. Estimated cost was $2,200.

We don't hear the noises the furnace was making before. But I would have preferred that Dave gave us an estimate first.

We actually drove from Concord, New Hampshire to meet with this guy so we were really glad he was there on time. That would have been a long trip to have a no show. Now I think he was professional. He seems reasonable in price. I cant say we have a lot to compare his prices to but it seemed fair to us. He was here for about four hours working and we found him on Angies List. We have more work for him in the near future too so we intend to use him again.

We had tried everything and he came and made it seem simple. Finished in under an hour.

March 6, 2007--coldest day of 4 day cold snap. Forgot to leave the water running- came home to find bathroom tub, drain & hot & cold water frozen. Tried with a hair dryer to unfreeze the pipes for 2 hours before we called Power Plumbing. Had never called him before--we just searched Angie's list for emergency plumbing -well rated and not too far from the house. He came right away and he stayed a long time trying to get the frozen pipe thawed--over an hour. The drain unfroze and the cold water pipe unfroze but the hot water pipe was too frozen, so Power gave us our options-- we chose turning off the water and draining the pipes because our downstairs 1/2 bath has cold water from another source--and he drained pipes to prevent freeze from expanding. 3 more days of bitter cold weather. Power called 2x, over the next few days to check on us. He also recommended moving pipes inside the house--which is not a big deal and will save us a lot of trouble. We plan to hire him again to do this.

Dave responds to calls immediately; he is pleasant and courteous. He is considerate about combining work requirements with the needs and comfort of his clients. He responds super fast when there is an emergency. He has done lots of work for me during the last five years. He was responsible for remodeling part of my cellar to make it usable. This included installing a half-bath and laundry facilities. In the last few months, when I remodeled the kitchen of a rental apartment, he installed the hookups for a washer and dryer and a new sink. Dave has always been wonderful to deal with. He will honestly review the options for a job and give realistic estimates for what can and should be done. His work is first rate and worth the price.
