It went very well. He was on time, fast, really nice, and out of there in short order. Would use them again.

Very nice guys, we had an issue but it was resolved so efficiently and professionally that my overall impression of their service is very high. I would reccomend.

First off, I want to state that this is in no way a review of any work performed by this company. They did not perform any work for me. I contacted F A King and Sons based on the reviews from Angie's List. They responded within 1 day and stated that and quot;they were too busy to help me.and quot; So I am only writing this to let others know that they may want to try some of the other providers listed with similar reviews.

It took several voice mail messages from me over the course of a week or more before Mr. King was able to call me back. Understandably, he questioned why I did not ask the original plumber to do the job. I explained that there were a few things not done correctly by the original contracter, and that I really just wanted someone good to fix it right so I could take a hot shower. He called me 1 week ago today, and asked what day would be good for me to come. I told him Thursday and Friday mornings were most flexible for me, so he offered to come today (1/30/14) around 8:30 am, and commented that I and quot;had been dealing with this long enough.and quot; I was thrilled. I stayed home from work this morning waiting for Mr. King. At 8:56 he called me. He asked when I would be around. I told him I was at home and that we had agreed he would be coming this morning at around 8:30. (Strange that he did call at the agreed upon time to ask me that). He then said he would not be able to help me. (Strange that a second earlier he asked me when I would be around). and quot;At all?and quot;, I asked. and quot;Unless you have water coming from the ceiling or on the floor we can't help you. We are just too busy.and quot; Or words to that effect. As I opened my mouth and started to say and quot;So...and quot; the phone went click. He hung up on me. I called back immediately, but he did not pick up. I left a voice mail, calmly letting him know that I understand he is busy, and that, had I known he was not going to do the job, I would not have spent another week showering at the Y, or at my sister's house, or washing my hair in the kitchen sink. But most importantly, I told him that it is not a nice feeling to be hung up on, for no reason I can see. I sent him a text saying simply and quot;I am not sure what I did to make you hang up on me in mid-sentence.and quot;, since I am fairly sure he will delete my voice mail without listening to it. I have no doubt as to the quality of his work. I also have no doubt that with the frigid weather he must be dealing with burst pipes and such all over town. I am glad he has more work than he can deal with. I understand my job is a small one. I understand it is not a life or property-threatening problem. But I treated him with nothing less than courtesy and understanding. He did not treat me with the same.

My house was built in 1930 and had two massive old water heaters from the 1950s! One was disconnected by my parents in 1975 but the other has been in service until the last week of April when I noticed a small wet spot under the tank. I contacted King and sons on May 3 and Mr. King came out on May 5 to give an estimate. He was prompt, courteous and thorough in his inspection and answered all my questions and concerns. My old tanks were electric and the wiring was old so I was concerned about whether I would need an electrician to come in first and how much that would cost. Mr. King suggested changing over to gas as I have a gas heating system right next to the water tank connection and that would eliminate the need to do anything except shutdown the electric connection. He never pressured me either way and I decided that the gas was the best and easiest choice. It was great advice since my electric dropped by $35.00 and I can hardly see any difference in my gas bill since he installed the new tank! I had an estimate from him in writing by the next day for $1730.00 plus $138.00 for 10 waranty. The new tank was installed on May 7 by his son Thomas and helper Scott. They arrived on time and were very polite and professional and got right to work. They had the tank installed and running by noon time, I was amazed at how efficient they were especially since they had to move both of the massive old tanks out of the way before they could start working. These tanks were 6 feet tall and very heavy. There was very little mess and they cleaned up after themselves. Thomas took the time to explain how the new gas tank works and showed me where each shutoff was and which ones shut down what line. He also explained how to adjust the temperature and what to do if there was ever a leak or the pilot light went out. I really appreciated the time that Tom and Mr. King took to explain things to me as gas makes me a little nervous. The new tank has worked perfectly and I couldn't be happier. They always call me back promptly and I never feel rushed when asking questions. THANK YOU F.A. King!

K A King and Sons/ King FA and Sons did a good job. They were fine, they came in and did the work and they said that if it didn't work, I should call them back.

I have used FA King over the years. They are reliable, prompt and have always been there when I needed them and for whatever plumbing mishap,big or small, that has plagued me.

I am a long time customer of FA King. Competent, polite, as punctual as plumbers can be.Great business to support in the Milton MA area.

When we first moved in to our almost one hundred-year-old house almost sixteen years ago, from time to time there were a few things that needed to be done. Started I believe with garbage disposal repair, or perhaps a blocked pipe. I asked our housing agent, who without reservation recommended FA King. Since that time we've had leaking washing machines, pipes, a water heater that was past its time, replacement of faucets, blocked this or that, and a major repair of a toilet leak to name a few. Charlie King has always been prompt to respond by phone, and either he or his staff have been on the job quickly and professionally; if they are not available, or if the problem is not up their alley, he will help me find someone to do the work. Charlie and his staff- Scottie most recently- always explain completely what the problem is, and what needs to be done to repair it. The pricing seems to be in line with others I've seen on-line. You won't go wrong with F.A.King for your plumbing needs.

They provided a very good quality work and they cleaned up nicely. They came when we called quite promptly.

Had a slow kitchen drain that got slower and slower and I finally called. They were prompt, pleasant and professional. Fixed the drain problem, commented that my water pressure was low and proceeded to dissassemple and reassemble faucet. I haven't had this much water pressure from the litchem sink in years! Extremely pleased with the work, the cleanup and the cost.

They were very punctual. They were able to squeeze me in quickly and were able to come in when they said they would. They were responsive. The guy was very friendly. I trusted him. He was open about the possibilities and told me what was going on. There were no questions unanswered. Their price was in line with the others.

We were very happy with our experience with this company. They are always here when ever we need them. They are on time and friendly and answer all of our questions. I would recommend them to anyone.
