M & J Roofing

When asking for a quote thru the Angi website, I was given the option to choose an appointment time right then, which I did. I got an automated text and email confirming my request, and that they'd be in touch soon. They did not show for that appointment. I waited two weeks, then called them directly. I was told a salesman in my area would call immediately, which he did. Very nice young man, we made an appointment for the next day. Less than 24 hours later. They were a no show. No call, no nothing. There's no way he forgot. I can only assume he never intended to keep the appointment. Will never recommend this company.

Be on high alert if you see a "roofah" vehicle in your neighborhood. They do roofs by day but steal heavy equipment and tools by night. Many such cases.

Chris Taylor was very responsible and helpful in getting me all the information I needed. The roofing team was hard working and very qualified to remove shingles, put plywood & new shingles. Great cleanup of the debris. Highly recommend this company.

M&J Roofing did a great job on our shingle roof project. Materials were dropped off the day prior to the project, workers arrived on time, completed the project, and cleaned up nicely. All remaining equipment and materials were picked up within a day. Thank you!

Great job!! Very responsive. Very reasonable price. I had numerous companies look at a leaking roof and bay window. The bay window has a metal roof. Chris who gave me a quote was the only one who had experience with the metal roof. He recognized that the leak it the bay window was not bay window. He climbed a latter and found a a gaping hole the the sill of a window above the bay window. He simply calked that hole and heavy rain since then has proven that was the problem. Also on there roof repair when thew tore off the roof the found a bigger problem and on the spot came up with a solution. Roofah is extremely efficient and responsive. I had quotes of an much as $25K and they did the job for $3k

M&J was great to work with! I recently bought a home knowing it needed a new roof. They provided a prompt quote and did the work right away and very well. They explained all of the options and were easy to communicate with throughout. I highly recommend them!

Horrible experience.. Chris came here 5x’s.. The owner is illiterate. He actually called after they didn’t fix it and said “He hopes I spend big money trying to fix it.”

Shane came to inspect my roof related to a long standing leak and was able to diagnose and repair it. His use of technology allowed for us to communicate well as the job progressed.

Superior customer service provided by Julia and Shane; we contracted them to replace a skylight on our 3 family investment property but turns out we needed the roof replaced. Shane and his team were very accommodating at fitting in our project in just days since it was an unexpected change of project and it was mid January. Shane was very attentive to all our questions, he responded to our texts even during the holiday and weekend and gave us clear contracts and details via email. We will certainly hire M& J Home Improvements “The Roofah” in the future for sure. Shane and his team worked hard for us and we are grateful to have found this company to have them on hand for future projects.

We are so happy that we chose M & J Roofing to repair our leaking roof and chimney. Matt is SO responsive, and takes pride in his work. We had a nasty leak that took a while to figure out, and he came back multiple times (free of charge) to make sure he resolved the issue completely. He even sent his team over on a Sunday to patch up a problematic area. His price was very reasonable (we received quotes from 4 companies, and his price fell right within the average range). We especially like that his quote included the actions he planned to take, along with links to the specific materials he planned to use - everything was easy to follow, and he only used high quality materials. We are so grateful to have a "working" roof over our heads now, especially during this rainy spring! We would definitely hire M&J in the future, and highly recommend them to others.

I had them replace my roof and they did a fantastic job and were done quicker than expected. We had to wait for an insurance person to come through which delayed the process in starting initially but they checked in periodically to see if we needed anything and when we finally got the go ahead they were responsive and able to start within the next couple weeks. They were easy to work with and I trusted in the work they had done. They replaced the entire roof and 3 skylight windows.

Contractor came out, gave an estimate and was able to fix the problem that day.

His price was competitive and he was the most responsive, best with follow-up and answering questions, punctual, easy to work with. They did a great job with clean-up which was important to us as we have a 4-year old who runs around the yard. We'll probably see if they can help us with masonry work in the Spring provided we have the budget :-) Overall would recommend

I guess they did it fast but I don't know if the quality was that good. They worked at night which was a little questionable and they working on my roof so I didn't like that.
