Out of the five contractors I contacted on a Saturday, Matt, the owner of M & J Improvement, responded within 2 minutes. We made arrangements for him to evaluate my roof the following morning. (My house has 2 large flat roofs and about 2,500 sq. feet of shingled roof.) Matt was on time and provided an honest and reasonable quote within a couple hours of his evaluation. He was very professional and explained what had to be done and since no one else responded to my emergency situation, I hired Matt and I couldn�t be happier with the results. Materials were delivered on Monday and on Tuesday the two flat roofs were completed. We had a minor snow storm on Wednesday but the guys showed up first thing Thursday morning and completed the shingled part of the roof. I got home from work on Thursday and the job was complete. This is the first time in my many dealings with contractors that things went this smoothly. I highly recommend Matt and his crew for a job well done with a reasonable, competitive price to match. Two roofers were punctual as to arrival time. They appeared to do a thorough job in reworking a questionable area on the roof. After the next heavy rain and wind storm, I'll know for sure if the repair was successful. I don't expect any problems. The roofers were friendly and explained their work each step of the way. In addition, they accommodated a request of mine regarding the work.

I liked the fact Matt called quickly. He came by and gave a quote and set-up a reasonable date when the work would be done. Very professional!!

Exellent work! I had to have my roof replaced three weeks after moving into my house. The owner, Matt is very professional and very quick to respond to my request for service. The work was completed in a very timely manner. I would highly recommend M&J Home Inprovement to my friends and family.
