The workers that came were very nice and professional. It took a lot longer to get the equipment than I expected. I made the appointment back in May and they said it would be July or August. Once they came out and installed it, they did a good job. There were no problems with it passing inspection. I would recommend them for small projects but for bigger projects the planning was kind of confusing. I would probably not use them again.

They did a great job. They were good with communication. They showed up when they said they would. They answered all our questions.

During a very hot period in May our air conditioner stopped working. I called the folks at Kermit B. Schulz & Sons on a Friday and they called me back that day and scheduled an appointment for early the next week. Other companies I called had longer waits. The technician arrived right on time and found the problem in less than 5 minutes. He quickly installed a new part to fix the unit. The technician took the time to answer all my questions on the current state of the art in air conditioners and was extremely knowledgeable.

Having recently purchased a townhouse, the very second weekend in our new place, the furnace seemed to run, heat the place, quit running, and then almost immediately, it kicked back on and ran again. I noticed this early on a Sunday morning (around 7 AM), and called the company's emergency hotline by 7:30 AM, since the furnace would be running almost non-stop. Their answering service (a live person) took my call, and within 15-20 minutes, I got a call-back from one of their service technicians. Because it was a cold weekend, the company was inundated with "emergency no heat" service calls, and because I did have heat, they suggested I call back Monday morning during regular business hours, which commenced at 7 AM. While I was concerned about a constantly running furnace, I dealt with it all day Sunday and Sunday night. I called Monday morning at 7 AM, and they were able to schedule me for Tuesday afternoon, with the understanding they needed to call me about an hour beforehand so I could leave work, and get to the townhouse. Becasue I was flying out that Wednesday for the Christmas holiday, I needed to get the problem fixed so as to avoid an excessive heating bill for the week I would be gone, even after lowering the thermostat. They diagnosed the problem immediately: the conventional thermostat that was likely installed at the time the unit was built had developed a defect. WIthin 30 minutes a new thermostat (digital) was in place, and all was taken care of. In the process of doing an initial evaluation, they identified an airflow problem on one of the ducts that run the fuill length of unit, which was detracting from the airflow in the master bedroom where the thermostat was positioned. That fix is something I will take care of soon, and between that and the thermostat I should see a savings in my heating bill going forward. Needless to say, I am very happy with the level of service I received in the narrow window of time we had to get it corrected. Both the service person I spoke to in the office (Betty) and the service tech who came to the townhouse (Brian) were very responsive and professional. They have won me over as a client for as long as I am living in this area of Mass.

I spoke with Chip, a very charismatic guy, to setup an appointment for an estimate of a furnace and central A/C replacement. I scheduled time off from work and the night before my appointment, Chip called to inform me that he would be unable to make it (he needed to fill-in on a job due to an injured worker). We rescheduled (I let him choose the date and time). The morning of the rescheduled visit, I received a call from Chip informing me he would be unable to make the appointment (medical issue). He indicated he would call me in a couple days to reschedule. 2-3 weeks later, after I had moved on to other contractors, Chip called to indicate he was in the area and noticed that he hadn't re-scheduled -- he asked if I was still interested in the estimate appraisal (I was), so he came over. This part of the process was real good, Chip was knowledgable, informative and thorough. He indicated he would have a quote sent to me via email within a couple days. After a week, I called to follow-up (as I had not received the quote) and he indicated everything should be ready to go by the next day or so. To date, I have received no quote and have since moved along with the project with another contractor. It is *very* possible that my email address was entered incorrectly, but I would expect a 'cannot deliver message' to be returned and I received no paper mail nor phone call to follow-up. The company was rated an A on Angieslist and was local; I was partial from the start. I do not wish to hold the initial cancelled appointments against Chip, or the company in general, because I appreciate things happen. I do, however, find fault with the lack of follow-up and follow-through and will have a hard time justifying making use of their service in the future.

They were excellent. We used them several times. They were very prompt and courteous. We would use them in the future.

Company was very responsive and fixed the unit at a reasonable price. Other A/C company's had previously looked at the unit and where unable to fix it. One note, weekend service is only available if repair men are available from larger commercial jobs.

Danny does exceptional work, is very neat and conscientious. I had a problem with one of the parts and they were able to come out and repair it under warranty. I had contacted numerous contractors and this is the only one that did a proper heat loss calculation, which allowed me to purchase a boiler one size smaller.

I was told several times before that I needed the a/c replaced. He was recommended by my veterinarian and they came and fixed the problem. They were polite, honest and got the job done.
