I found their prices to be quite ridiculous. He didn't finish half of the work. Half of the lighting fixtures weren't working after he had been here to do the work for me and I had already paid him six hundred dollars for the work. I would never again use this company and I couldn't recommend them either. They didn't show up to finish the job and the prices were way too high.
Description of Work: I hired this local electrician to fix all of the outlets and ceiling lamps in my maybe 2000 square foot home that were not working. He was also hired to fix my alarm system that was not wired right.

Compagnone Electric takes pride in its work and stands behind its fair pricing. While Compagnone Electric appreciates the member's input, his report is a blatant misrepresentation and it appears that the member does not accurately recall what he hired us to do in 2006. The work at the member's home was performed in September of 2006 (not 2007, as the member indicates), and this negative report almost 4 years later comes as quite a surprise. A review of our records indicates that Compagnone Electric provided the member with an invoice on 9/16/06 for "removal of existing exterior flood light with motion sensor, installation of new flood light with motion sensor with an over-ride switch in mechanical room, to change outlets in the kitchen to GFCI outlets, removal of existing kitchen ceiling hanging lights and installation of wiring with new ceiling box for the kitchen light." The reasonable charges for this work were $600 and the member paid Compagnone Electric on 9/22/06. Moreover, we replaced a broken deck light at no charge to the member. The entire project took less than one (1) day. The member expressed no dissatisfaction. If he had, Compagnone Electric would have taken the appropriate steps to remedy any issues. Compagnone Electric was NOT hired to handle an alarm system, as we do not perform alarm system wiring (in fact, at no time was an alarm even discussed with the member). In addition, we did not contract to "fix all of the ceiling lamps" in the member's home. Clearly, in a "maybe 2000 square foot home" this would be a substantial job, worth far more than $600. Upon our scheduled and timely arrival at the member's home, he was still in bed and it was necessary to wait for him to arise and open the door. We were further required to waste additional time cleaning off the member's cluttered counter-tops in order perform the work in the kitchen. It is a disappointment and a shame that the member would seek to tarnish the excellent reputation of Compagnone Electric and we continue to stand behind the work performed.
