The service was right on time and completed in a timely manner. The tech had to come into our home for part of the service. She was very professional and polite and was excellent with our dog (who loved her!). The service and steps were very well explained and the few questions we had were answered with confidence. Throughout the entire process, from the initial consult to the service execution, Insight was very professional and knowledgable.

The appointment was from 11am-1pm. The technician showed up around 12:30, still within the range set forth so that was good. The whole process took about one hour. He started in the house and sprayed the bathrooms and the kitchen for the ants that we had been seeing in these areas. He also took a look in the basement where we had some mice before. He noticed that at this point there was no evidence of current mice but he made a note so that the next inspection in three months time would make sure to check again when the weather was a bit colder. The technician then went outside and tackled the very big wasp nest that was on our roof and a smaller one above the entrance to the kitchen. He dispatched the wasps very quickly. Then he proceeded to spray the outside of the house for the ants and wasps. All in all, he was very attentive and asked many questions so that he fully understood what our individual problems were. He was very polite and worked in timely fashion. Overall I was very pleased with the work that the technician performed in our house. I hope that the next three appointments are the same.

The technicians were very helpful and pleasant. They arrived on time, inspected the exterior and interior of my house, including the basement and then applied the non-toxic treatment around the perimeter of the house and behind the sinks in the bathrooms and kitchen. They answered all of my many questions and in general were very helpful. I have signed up for the quarterly service and expect to see them back in the fall.

Michael Gingyras was the technician. He was very nice, polite and professional. He answered all my questions and spent quite a bit of time making sure he did all the areas. This is the first time I have used this company and so far so good!

I am very pleased with the thoroughness of the treatment and the personable and respectful representative, Kevin. I intend to continue with Insight on a quarterly basis as a preventative measure.

Technician showed up on time and ensured that I agreed to the first treatment plus quarterly service for the first year, and also made sure I understood the price. He then provided service and let me know of other packages I could add on without badgering me. Prompt, polite, and professional.

We singed up in June of 2016 so we have not had enough time to see if the service actually works, although we have not had any ants since the treatment. I was very impressed by Dom, the insight representative, who came to our home to perform the services. He was professional, punctual, and informative.

Technicians arrived promptly at the scheduled time. Both Phillip and Aaron were knowledgeable, courteous, and paid attention to detail when performing their work. I am recommending this service to my neighbors who will likely be interested. Overall, my experience was excellent.

He put down material to keep the ants out of our house. He also put material in the places that we experience bee hives each year. He did not rush and was very conscientious about doing the job right. He also made sure we knew that he would return if we still experienced any issues. He was very professional and was a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend this service, especially with this service technician.

I had them for quite a while and I stopped using them last year. I would not use them again. The company has changed from what it was. When it started out it was a little bit smaller, it was more intimate, as they have gotten bigger, they have lost that intimacy. They also have lessened the amount of things that they do. When you sign on with them they tell you they do this and they will take care of that and that is not the case. They have had some very good techs but in overall the company, the administration is terrible to work with. The other thing that they like they to do, is that they like to say they are coming in the winter, and they don't show up. They spray on the perimeter, and except for this year, we have had a lot of snow on the ground, and to me that was wasting my money because there was no way that they could get to the foundation, the snow was against the foundation. We had a lot of dialogue about that, I also had told the guy that I didn't want the stuff sprayed on the snow. It was just a nuisance and they insisted they wanted to do that. We couldn't get past that. I will never use them again.

I had many issues with them and do not recommend them to anyone. These are my complaints: - During my 1st treatment the technician left midway through do to a passing rain shower and said couldn't treat outside. Said would schedule appointment to do rest. Never did and I had to call 2 weeks later to do so. However both techs left notes on my door and first in person asking me to leave favorable reviews so they could get bonus money. - Never treated for bee problems I was assured by salesperson during first visit could and would be handled by them - Never checked for mice problems even though I indicated past issues with these during my initial sign up and first visit. Upon calling for a check on my mice issues the technician simply came into the garage checked 2 glue traps and laid 3 more down. Was there less than 10 minutes - They scheduled 4 appointments in less than 8 months. All appointments were a month earlier than those scheduled in my original contract. Was never notified by email or call for 3rd appointment. After 3rd appointment in 5 months I called to complain about how they weren't keeping to the schedule they had given me. Their local representative apologized and assured me they will schedule the next one for April as scheduled. Would put a note in the file. Sure enough in the 1st week of March I got a call and email stating they would be there next week making it 4 visits in 7 1/2 months. 3 of which were late fall or winter months when carpenter ants, my biggest issue, aren't very active. Rep said sorry but this is when I'm scheduled for. When I explained my contract said differently said couldn't help. Told her I wanted to cancel and she said couldn't until after last treatment was done and over and to call back then. Never offered to escalate issue. Just said would put note of my complaints in file. - Never did anything I couldn't have done myself for much less money. I had already treated for carpenter ants around house with items at Lowe's and used glue traps, steel wool, and d-con for mice. Had to take care of bee issue on my deck myself. When they came to house never noticed a difference.

I was Jason's last appointment of the day and he was a little late but they called me to tell me so I was fine with that. Jason introduced himself, talked to me about the short video I watched and explained the process of removing the nest. He was very professional and polite.

Insight Pest Solutions are fine and I have not had any problems with them. Their price is reasonable too.

After a persistent sales person kept calling, I thought we'd give them a chance after all hard working people deserve a shot. The first appointment went well, the technician was very good, explained all the work and very courteous. About four weeks after this, we started seeing carpenter ants roaming our house again. I called, left two VMs before I got a call back. They scheduled the respray. I also had a bees nest outside one of the second story window, so they did this also (it's part of the contract). When I came home, I found out the technician walked around our house without any shoe covers on. My wife had to clean up after him. Then I looked at the bees nest and it's half gone, bees were still flying in/out of the nest. The worst was they damaged the flashing when removing the nest. Looks like the tech poked at the nest and while pulling the stick out, pulled the flashing out with it. Now I have a piece of flashing hanging off the corner of the house. I called and again, left 2-3 VMs before a call back. I explained what happened, the service manager asked for pictures which I sent within 2 hours. That was 12 days ago. Three VMs, three emails, NOTHING !! no response. I called my CC company and notified them, they marked my account and now we are waiting for Insight to reply. I'll bet they will call to schedule my next appointment right on schedule. When they do, I will refuse service and payment. My next step is to report them to BBB locally. I don't like businesses who push to get new customers, then leave them out to dry while trying to get new ones to sign up. BUYER BEWARE !!

A door to door solicitor came by to offer pest control. Nice guy and very personable. Unfortunately, they are a service provider which requires an annual contract, though during the sales pitch there is no mention of this. I agreed to move forward and set up an appointment for the next day from 1-3, however they never showed up. They called and said they would be by the following day between 3-5 and again, they never showed up. They seem to have a flawed service model.

After two trips and no wasps removed, I canceled the contract. That was my first experience asking them to handle something specific (and I think they should be treating for wasps in the areas they were located in the first place) and ulimately I will have to call another company to come and remove the nests even though I was already paying Insight to do this as part of the contract.

Things has gone very well with them. So far, it has been so good. There are no issues. The last time that they came out was about a week ago. What stands out to me about them is their knowledge in doing their job. I would like other Angie's List members to know that if they have a pest problem, I think that they are the people that can resolve their issue. Their price is also reasonable.
