It was fine. It took too long to do it. It took them three hours and it seemed like a long time.

The response was great. We had new tenants moving into an apartment and needed the outlets changed to gfci outlets. The first outlet went fine but the second one was causing problems so therefore took a longer time to do. The new light fixture over the sink did not work so they took it out. Since we did not have another light fixture to put in we were left without a fixture and had to address that later. The deal we purchased was for $150 for $250 worth of work. Since it took additional time to address the new gfci outlet and the light fixture not working it ended up costing more then the $150 deal.

I had an on/off switch by the door that had done nothing since I purchased the house. I believed that it should have turned the overhead light on/off. Jerry and Liam came at the expected time and removed the existing light and started troubleshooting a wiring issue. The determined that the prior light had not been installed correctly to allow it to be turned on/off from multiple locations. The over head light had been wired to the switch that should have been for the fan. The sorted through the wiring and then installed the new ceiling fan verifying both switches were working correctly and added the switch so I could turn the fan on/off separately.

Purchased Angie's Deal - scheduling was smooth and easy. Very accommodating scheduling the appointment. Had an outlet installed - job was performed easily. Was very impressed that owner called following the job to see how work was performed. Minor issue was discussed and resolved taken back when the owner called to discuss satisfaction with the work performed. The company?s desire to ensure that I was pleased and satisfied with the entire experience was welcomed and unexpected - haven?t experienced that before. Good customer service is hard to come by these days - let alone having the owner call. Vinny clearly cares about the customer?s overall experience, he was very concerned with the overall experience I had with his company. When discussing a minor issue he was reasonable, understanding, and accommodating. I understand that issues occur, rare to find a company that wants to work with the customer to come up with a solution that pleases everyone. Recommend highly Tingley Electric for quality of work very good, but even more importantly outstanding customer service. That alone puts Tingley Electric in a category itself. I would definitely have work performed by Tingley Electric in the future.

I have always had friendly, professional service from Tingley Electric. In addition, Vinny gives helpful cost saving electrical advice.

Showed up right on time (7:30AM), prepared to complete the project. Explained the project details and how long it would take to complete. It was completed as explained at the exact cost. They are a;ways excellent, and very professional. They may not be the lowest cost electrician, but they provide the highest quality and I would use them again for all of our electrical needs.

They were prompt and completed the work in a timely manner. The fan has worked well and looks good. I am very happy with the work done. The price ended up being more than I thought it would be. It was also strange that at first they said it would be over $1000 and after I said that was too much, they quickly came down to $724. Seems like the first estimate was just to see if I would actually pay that much, not sure how if the first estimate was legitimate how you came down 30%.

Our main issue is that the electrician's general attitude was adversarial rather than conversational and cooperative. We felt as if we were being talked down to and chastised instead of being helped. Why would we want to work with someone who approached a potential customer this way? There were no estimates given at all, not anywhere on the report. We have no idea what it will cost to do any of the proposed work. In addition, 12-point inspection form was never filled out.

Our doorbell suddenly stopped working so Tingley installed a new doorbell casing and transformer, as well as replacing the two buttons outside. We provided the parts except for the casing as the guy said the one we bought wouldn't fit for some reason. He gave us a simple white one in its place. We exercised a $100 off $249 Angie's List coupon which were allowed to register while they were doing the work (advance notice, per their instruction to wait until we knew what the cost would be). Despite the coupon, the whole thing still cost about $300 which frankly seemed pretty high for the type of work. It was my understanding that the diagnostic fee also included the first hour of work, but I guess not. They also lost the check we gave them in person which we had to then cancel and their receptionist didn't argue but seemed surprised we were going to deduct $30 off the second check to cover the bank fee. The owner later called to apologize and said they later found the other check and tore it up. In the end, the doorbell works which is the main goal. But due to the price of $400 excluding coupon to fix a doorbell ($450 if you include the parts we paid for) for what was 60-90 minutes worth of work, we will likely try another electrician next time.

Jason was very professional. he examined all the problem areas I identified and repaired them. One area that wan't repairable at the time was the outlet from our house to our lamp post in the front yard. He came up with a few scenarios that was cost effective for our needs. We are still waiting to hear the estimated cost to complete the required work. Price point and explanations were explained and I guess reasonable but still seemed high.

Absolutely outrageous pricing. m do one outlet as I would lose 60 something dollars on kdwjkl;werajiodTo replace an existing exterior outlet, replace existing outside light fixure with a fixture I provided, an to install a new outlet in an exposed wall with wire to another outlet in plain site, they wanted $781. $781 for less than an hours work? I had a coupon from Angie's list for $300 worth of work for $150 so I just had him replace the existing outlet since I was going to lose $60 on their "safety check fee" anyway. Another electrician finished the job (replaced light fixture and installed new outlet) and replaced 3 under cabinet lights which I provided for $170.

It went well. They came on time. I like that they cover their shoes before coming into the house. They had to go out and get a special outlet for us for the kitchen. We used Timgley's coupon from Angie's Site to apply to our bill.

Contractor responded to first call, scheduled appointment promptly and showed up right on schedule. The Electrician discussed what i wanted and alternatives in clear and understandable terms. The work was done expertly and with clear explanation of what was required and time needed to complete. Overall "A" on company, the work done and professionalism of the electrician.

There was some more worked to be done so they charged additional. They did good job. They were confident and they did what they said they will come in and do it things.

The tech, Jerry, arrived at the start of a two hour window. He was very professional. He answered all of my questions. Wore booties to keep my carpets clean and cleaned up after the work was completed. You would never know he did any work in the house.

Two workers came promptly at 7:30 am, the scheduled time, and were here until about 1. They checked out the current panel and realized there was not enough room for the charger on there so recommended the installation of a sub-panel. Moved some of the circuits that were carrying lesser loads to the subpanel and put the car charger on the main panel. There is a bit of snow outside so they used shoe covers and tarped the basement floor. They worked very carefully and explained all the work that needed to be done.

The electricians showed up on tiime and were extremely professional and nice. They did the work, explained in detail everything I needed to know at the time and for in the future, and were very clean. The pricing was very straightforward and comparable to other companies I had gotten estimates from.

Tim was excellent. He was right on time, courteous, professional. We went over all the work that needed to be done. He saved me some money by pointing out that I had a faulty bulb vs. a faulty unit and I really appreciated that. He was done quickly. I knew going in how the pricing model worked but I was in a jam and needed someone quickly. I would prefer to pay an hourly rate rather than a per service fee. I'm very happy howerver, with the overall work!
