They did a really good job. Everybody who I interacted with really seemed to be invested in having the job not only turn out well but having me have a good experience throughout the process and they are very respectful and polite. They really listened and they were more professional than many other electricians that I had dealt with in the past. It is not just a one-man show. They have a variety of skill sets there and they send good people out to make sure the job gets done right.

Two workers showed up to install two outlets. They were fast and efficient. It only took them a little over an hour and they were done. There was an issue with the billing, we contacted the owner and it was quickly resolved.

On the day of the job, the time had passed outside the window they had given me. I called the office and they promptly contacted their crew and got back to me with a new estimate for their arrival. Would have been nice if they had made the effort to contact me initially to notify me the previous job was running a little late and they are delayed. Once they arrived at my house, very nice and professional. Took the time to discuss with me exactly what I wanted and suggested couple of possible options. Once they started on the work, they were quick and efficient. They actually completed the job in less time than initially estimated and charged me less than the original estimate. They cleaned up after themselves well. I would definitely use them again,

The two electricians arrived punctually at 7:30 am and got right to work. They laid drop clothes down to prevent any mess. The entire service lasted about 4 hours and they swept the floor when they were finished. Although we wish the cost had been less (of course!), we think it was very reasonable. The cost included all equipment (cans for the lights, switches etc). We had the estimates done over a year prior to the actual work (delay was on our end) and the price was slightly higher than the original estimate, but that is to be expected given the time lag. We are very happy with our new lights and would definitely use Tingly again.

The two guys came on time and went right to work. They were very friendly and polite. They did everything we asked and left the area neater and cleaner than it was to start.

Overall it was a great experience. I purchased a big deal and shortly there after Tingley contacted me to schedule the work. Vincent promptly came out to my home to understand my needs and document. Within days I had a detailed estimated. I wasn't able to accomplish everything but Tingley was able to accommodate us even though it was a small job. The electricians arrived on time and completed the work in less time than was estimated. Even better, it cost me less than was originally estimated. That rarely happens and I value that in a contractor. I will use Tingley again for our electrical needs. Thanks!

The two fellows were prompt and professional.. My two light switch issues were quickly corrected by using the proper light bulbs.. Those energy savers don't work on everything! We are doing basement work and they did the wiring for new lights as well. Should I need more done, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

The local Angie's list had a discount coupon for electrical services, so, I bought it. Vinny, from Tingley Electric, contacted me very promptly. We scheduled his initial visit, which went quite well. He promptly sent me an estimate, breaking down various options/tasks, and gave an estimate for each item. He was able to schedule the work around my calendar. His crew arrived when they should have, and they went right to work. They were very pleasant, professional in appearance and demeanor, and wasted no time. As they went through the list, they touched base with me on one or two things, which I appreciated. Simply put, there were no delays, no "surprises", and no drama. They did what they said they would, when they said they would, for the cost that they said they would - and, they did it fast, quietly, smoothly. Very satisfied!

It went great...Vinnie showed up right on time to do the estimate and followed-up quickly with an email and written estimate. On the appointed day, his crew showed up on time and quickly got to work. They worked cleanly and were very friendly.

He is going to start in the middle of March. He came out to the house and was very nice. He gave me a really good quote. He came when he said he would and he called me right back when I called him.

Tingley's team arrived on time, performed all requested work from hanging fixtures to adding new outlets in a very professional, knowledgable manner. When asked about a couple of additional, more extensive projects such as adding new electrical lines to another floor, they provided guidance and excellent suggestions. We will use them again in the future.

Tingley's electricians were efficient and prompt. They clearly were knowledgeable about this task and proceeded without any delay. When finished, they cleaned up and even helped us fix another fixture that had a small problem.

Initially I called for an appointment, but never heard from them. (Perhaps they were on vacation? A message on their answerring machine would have helped?) Had to call again a week later to schedule the appointment. Two servicemen showed up on time, were extremely professional & efficient & finished in record time!

Overall it went very well and I would definitely use him again.

Excellent work and very professional, efficient staff. Very patient when the post light that I had picked up from the lighting store was found to be damaged. They returned to complete the installation of the post and light (without additional charge) once the new post arrived and even offered to pick it up at the electrical store for me. I will continue to work with Vinnie for future services.

Tingely electric estimated the cost of our generator and what it would safely power, got the propane company to install new tanks, installed the generator exactly as they estimated in time and money. When Hurricane Sandy came along our lights went out and the generator went on automaticallly. These folks restored my faith in tradesmen.

My son and I had trouble installing a new track light at my daughters house. Although we got it running, we had concerns about how it was installed. After a restless nite worrying about the installation, I looked at Angie's list the next morning to have a professional look at it and install the two dimmers. I called three electricians in the area and only connected with one ...........Vinnie Tingley. After explaining the situation he said he and his staff were really booked up that day but he would try and free someone up or he would come out himself. An hour later he called and said he had one of his crew on the way to the house. When I arrived the crewman was already there. Very professional and knowledgeable. He installed the track lighting correctly and installed the two dimmers. I was also able to utilize a coupon that the company offered on Angie's list. Overall an excellent experience. I would consider him for all my future electrical jobs.

I got an immediate response when I called to ask for an estimate. Vinny called back right away, and sent one of his crew chiefs, Michael, within two hours to come out and discuss what I wanted done. He was very thorough. The only catch I had was it took Vinny a couple of days to draw up the estimate (which I can see by the other reviews this is unusual)... however, Michael did tell me that they were short a crew the next couple of days, so I understood that they were stretched thin. I called Vinny again and he was very nice and apologetic- and got the quote out to me immediately. I have no idea if the price was too high, too low, or competitive- what I do know is that I have been trying to find an electrician for a couple years now and have even had some quotes- only to have the electrician disappear afterwards. Vinny and company responded quickly... I called on a Wednesday, had a quote I could live with on Friday, and was on the schedule for Tuesday- at my convenience, not theirs! What more can I ask for? The guys were efficient, personable and worked well together and with me. I am one of those homeowners who likes to watch workmen in my home- not because I am afraid they'll do something I don't want them to do, but because I learn something from watching the pros. These guys weren't uncomfortable with me standing there- which I consider a plus because it tells me they don't feel they have something they need to hide. Anyway, it was painless for me. PLUS- they CLEANED UP after themselves! I made the comment to them that that's a first for me- I rarely have work crews come in that actually sweep up their debris... these guys brought their own shop vac! I would highly recommend Tingley's Electric.

We had a very good experience with them. We needed to install a separate power line for our drainage system. I was told by the basement company we needed non GFI outlets to comply with the warranty for the system. Vinny told me that was against code and called the basement company to figure out what was needed. He also installed bathroom fans and venting. During installation I was concerned that the vents would not look good where they came out. They took the aluminum vent ports and painted them brown to fit in with the trim. It looked good. They also added motion flood lights for the walkways. I tried them in the evening and found they were not activating where I wanted them. Vinnie said he could come over in the evening to adjust them since it is hard to get it just right in the daytime. He came by and set everything up so they work well. His crew was professional and did a good job. They cleaned up afterward. Vinnie was a pleasure to deal with and took the time to make sure everything came out right. I would use them again.

We use Tingley Electric personally in our own homes and professionally for our plumbing business. Vinny is the most professional, friendly, and knowledgeable electrician out there. I recommend Tingley Electric to anyone in search of an electrician.

We had an excellent experience with them. Vinny Tingley arrived on time for the estimate, met his target install dates and was able to work around our schedule to get all the work done. His crew did great work and cleaned up after finishing each day. They were sure to explain everything they were doing and did a thorough test of the system before completing the job.

The owner responded the same day I left a message regarding my need for electrical work to be completed. Within a few days, he was at our house and quickly installed the fixture. The entire process was extremely easy and pleasant. I will definitely use him again in the future.
