The electrician from Tingley explained everything and gave me several price options to choose from before they even started the job - so there were no surprises. He kept me in the loop the whole time he was here and included me in the decision making. He and his assistant were extremely respectful and efficient. I would whole heartedly recommend Tingley to anyone who needs electrical work completed.

Also, really appreciate them wearing booties over their shoes in house. They explain everything thoroughly so you know exactly what is being done and the costs upfront. Great quality work, great company. I plan on using them in the future for the additional work I need.

They came and fix my attic furnace. There was an issue with the wiring leading to the thermostat. They fixed fairly quickly and I even ended up signing up for their maintenance plan. I would recommend.

Great experience. This company responded very quickly to my initial inquiry, and had an electrician at my house in 2 days (they offered next-day, but I was busy). The electrician himself was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous, while still being friendly and human. Despite tricky older wiring, my job was done in 2 hours, and I'm delighted with the result.

the service was excellent. The crew was very polite and professional. They fixed the problem. However they are expensive and I am not sure I could afford them for minor repairs.

They were very nice and helpful. A new switch assembly in the electrical box was mandated. . Installing 3 pendant lights with a dimmer switch cost about 1,200.00. The whole house surge protector would have been about $1,000.00.

Found this co. using Angie's List. They were 1st to respond & scheduled service w/in a couple days. Had them install a 220 outlet for a new electric dryer & talked me into surge protector for the house. Glad I did it!

The were able to diagnose my problem with the boiler going on all the time while thermostat was on A/C and they installed a surge protector for the house.

Do not hire this company for anything. It is untrustworthy and dishonorable. Plus, it charges two to four times as much with zero transparency (it will not provide detailed receipts that break down cost and materials). Naked and brazen price gouging. Lastly, the company positions itself as having the expertise to cost effectively wire smoke/CO detectors in your home to meet Fire Department certificate standards for selling your home. The company does not have this expertise. In a blatant money grab, the Tingley electrician suggested I install multiple detectors throughout my home that were unneeded/not required resulting in an estimate of $4,000+ in unnecessary charges. Luckily, I said no to the unnecessary detectors but only because I had educated myself through publicly posted Commonwealth of Massachusetts Guidelines and two trips to my local Fire Department. The electrician left my house after installing 3 combo smoke/CO detectors (while his estimate said that 5 would be installed) and then tried to get me to agree to pay $1,200 more to come back and complete the job. The entire experience was negative. Do not hire this company.
