Description of Work: Christopher "Paddy" Daly of CD Painting is one of the best examples of a true professional. He painted the exterior of our large house seven years ago and is just finishing up repainting it again. His work is meticulous. He always covers bushes, patios etc. to avoid paint spills and splashes and leaves the job site clean when he leaves at night. If he spots a rotten board, he replaces it without being asked. He comes early and stays until he finishes the section he is working on and then cleans up, regardless of the hour. If rain interferes, Paddy will ask if it is all right if he works on Saturday and Sunday to make up for the lost time due to weather. This time around, my husband decided to stain our large deck himself but had questions about what products to use. Paddy was quick to recommend some products that "the average Joe" would never have discovered and provided a number of valuable "tips" that we never would have learned on our own.We have also been extremely pleased when he has done inside painting for us. If a wall isn't as smooth as he would like, he patches, sands, and primes before applying the finish coat. When painting our master bedroom that has a cathedral ceiling, he suggested tinting the ceiling with some of the wall color and the results were subtle but spectacular. I picked out a paint color that I thought would be great in our master bath. He painted two walls and then suggested that perhaps it would be wise not to continue the color on the slanted walls. He was absolutely correct whereas other painters would have merely continued painting. Best of all, he is a joy to have around and is a thoroughly nice guy. If you want a great job, consider CD Painting. Based upon our multiple experiences, you can't go wrong!
