They came right over to check the job over, decided it was an easy fix, Fixed it on the spot. The guy was here for less than an hour. it rained most of last night... and it's NOT LEAKING this morning! I'm one happy camper

They were great. They fixed s roof leak. The job went into slot of time but they worked every day very hard. The job was big but well done. The supervisor was there every day making sure all was well. Great company I would hire them again if needed.

THey removed some rotted siding on my side porch and replaced it with pressurized wood exactly fitting in, then painted it to match. ALso pressure washed the slate roof of the porch which was covered with lichen. ALso cleaned the gutters out. THe roof looks like new! DId it all in one day and were very efficient and polite. Very quick, provided a quote within an hour of using HomeAdvisor (through handy.com). He was able to do the work same-day. Hob was well-done and for a reasonable price.

They replaced a fascia with new wood and covered with PVC they worked from early in the morning until late afternoon until the job was complete.

They damage to my gutters had leaks and have not been fixed my truck was damages do them not securing things on rooftop plus wanted to charge more money study first before you find a contractor in this site it can give you big head headache like he have 100% not happy tell this have not fixed my cutters

They came the next day, provided estimate, and did the work a few days later. Started work at 7am and finished before 10am. From what I can see it looks like they did a nice job.

Why did it have to go this far?

We hired American Construction to install some flashing to the third floor deck of our triple decker house, and then to replace our door and repair some leak damage in the unit (including sanding, painting, etc.) as well as to paint over a couple patched sections of the wall from old electrical work. While the final quality is pretty good getting it to this quality required me to take off multiple days of work (4) and babysit them the entire time to ensure the work was completed correctly. The exterior work (installing the flashing) went very well - there is no more leak! However, the finished product on the trim upstairs is not great - they had to cut some of the existing wood and replaced it with the composite, but its two different colors and does not match well, even after some sanding. They were scheduled to come and complete the interior work on Monday the 21st. My wife and I delay starting a vacation by a day to accommodate their schedule, and they forget that it was the 21st. When called, Luis says, Oh, is today the 21st?! That is ok - mistakes happen, so we reschedule them for the next day and our downstairs neighbors are kind enough to let them in. However, on Tuesday, Luis can not remember which unit needs the new door, and despite talking to my neighbor on the phone (who instructs him to come the house and she will show them what needs to be done and let them into the unit), he decides to leave because I do not call back soon enough (from my vacation...)! We reschedule for a week later, and my wife takes the day off of work. They work half the day, which only leaves them time to install the door, improperly â it is not square. The worker is solution is to tell my wife that because of the weather-stripping around the door, you just have to push hard. That is not how a new door should work! In fact, there are gaps along the door where it was not installed square, where you can now see sunlight (!!!), and you have to lift the door by the handle in order to get the deadbolt to lock. I met with Luis one evening, and I really appreciated him taking the time to meet with me to review the problems. On Tuesday, as I am showing the workers the issues with the door - I have to point out repeatedly that the problem is not the hole for the deadbolt, but rather that the door itself is not installed and aligned properly. Upon beginning to paint, they realize that they do not have the right wall color or the right ceiling color. This has now taken a full day, so they will have to return next week. When they return, they still do not have the correct colors, so they spend the entire day repainting the entire living room (both the walls and ceiling)! After inspecting the work, it is apparent that they missed a lot: they missed about 3/4 of the light fixtures and did not finish painting around them; the roller on the ceiling rolled over the trim in many places, and when they removed some tape it ripped paint off the wall. Another call to Luis, and he says he will be back later in the week. He returns to complete the work himself. All in all, what should have been a relatively easy project turned in a huge headache. In total, the work took: - Half a day to complete the exterior work - Half a day to install the door incorrectly - A full day to fix the door, sand the drywall, and start painting (with the wrong paint) - A full day to paint the entire living room walls and ceiling - A full day to complete the punch list items around the condo

Did a good job.....in 15 minutes sealing the corner spots that were leaking. I found one more after they left but did not bother calling back as the price to come back and fix one vs 2 would probably be the same.
